Some decent sounding emo-rock here. Goes for adds August 24th.

Sounds pretty good. I don't think it will go anywhere unfortunately though.

Except this band doesn't sound anything like those three, but they do have a lot in common with Framing Hanley, who I would definitely call a harder brand of emo-rock.

I listed the first 2 because they belong in the same genre, and Metallica because they are the guys' biggest influence. Anyway, they are not emo.

Framing Hanley does seem like a good comparison. I think I like this song better than the three Framing Hanley singles though...or at least as much anyway.

They don't belong in the same genre as BB and Seether because they don't sound anything like either band, and if Metallica is their biggest influence, then they forgot to display it in their music. It sounds more like they were influenced by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

A band called Abused Romance followed by the "emo" card being thrown out on the table. Oh...big surprise.

They don't sound that much like Red Jumpsuit to me other than maybe vocally. Red Jumpsuit feels more pop-punk influenced. I'd say the Framing Hanley comparison was best. Or current Story Of The Year maybe...and who has Story Of The Year stated as one of their biggest influences?
Metallica.
Go figure, bands that sound similar to one another who both claim to be influenced by Metallica, and yet don't really sound like Metallica.

It's like they're really saying "Metallica inspired me to be as completely opposite to Metallica as possible."

^I don't know about that. There's that mixture of heavy and beauty that Metallica does well and I feel like the heavy power chords and clean chorus-y guitars in this song could be traced back to Metallica. The big difference between the bands is vocals. But I feel like any band that's heavy probably is directly or indirectly influenced by Metallica at this point.

Actually, back home, their bassist played played in a Reggae band. They have many influences, and the biggest is Metallica (they told me that themselves). Once the album is out, you'll see that they are not emo.

But seriously, even if they are emo rock, why does that matter? Who fucking cares? Seems like a dumb thing to get bent out of shape about.

regardless of what genre this may be, it is a good song.
I immediately thought of Papercut Massacre/Atomship when I heard this song, but that's just me.

Breaking Benjamin & Seether? ??? The vocals sound closer to Jimmy Eat World to me. Emo or not, it's a real good song.

They released 2 new songs on their Facebook page. They are doing a few shows with Nonpoint & Egypt Central next month.
The Vaporize video is going to be released very soon.

"You Make Me Sick" will eventually reach the top 20 I'm also looking forward to hearing new material from Egypt Central. Their debut was excellent.

With a bullet of only 2 aswell, so not looking too good for it to go much higher. Good to see it hit top 50 nonetheless.
