Ready for some more cheese? This time in the form of a Backstreet Boys cover.

This actually turned out better than I would've expected. I kinda like it.
How does this thread have 1,041 views already?

How does this thread have 1,041 views already? Yeah, that makes no sense. The thread for "Animal" only has half of the amount. Unless we have another earlier thread for that of course.

I heard Steel Panther have a pilot they're trying to push to comedy central for a series. I think that would be awesome.
Anyway, this cover isn't really that funny. I feel like their original songs are hilarious, but that they could have picked a way more amusing song to METALLIFY, or at least, find a way to do it in a more surprising way.

Not familiar with the original, but I know it was a huge CHR hit in the' 90s. This band seems to make those song their specialty. Hope they get some radio airplay this album.

Man, this is aggressively horrendous.

At least the original was a well delivered pop hit. This takes away any good elements from the original.

Au contrair. This is exactly what I've been waiting for and never ever thought I'd get it, though their execution does seem a tad sloppy. From the beginning I've thought that the lyrics made no sense as a breezy pop song. On the other hand, it's perfect for glam hair rock.

After listening to this, I feel like I have been transported back to the 1980s. And that's not a good thing.
And for what it's worth, the Backstreet Boys version is a great song.

And for what it's worth, the Backstreet Boys version is a great song. It's one of those songs where most people like it but dont admit it.
