Billboard.biz says going to radio in three weeks. Haven't heard a thing from the new CD yet.

Nice, didn't know Nielsen offered a public site with next week's chart already. Never heard of their "Indicator" chart. Any idea on why those numbers are so small and why they even do that? It's not part of the normal Nielsen page.

"Sound Off" is approaching the top 40 on mediabase active and already is on BDS active. It has a triple-digit bullet. And people seem to like this song. I think choosing a different lead single would be a mistake imo.

I'd assume it's a second release instead of a replacement. Maybe it's softer and leaning toward 3A or Heritage.

Yeah, but Trapt songs probably can't do well on formats other than rock unless they've done well there first. A softer Trapt single would have to at least go top 20 on active/alternative before any other format would be remotely interested. I just hope that this is a false alarm or that they push this back because "Sound Off" is designed to do well at active rock, and they need to establish success at their core format before trying to break off elsewhere. Shinedown - "Devour" is a perfect example of that strategy, considering all future singles did much better at alternative than "Devour" did.
