"Bodyguard" fast becoming one of my favourite tracks she's done - LOVE her vocals at the end of the song, belt it Bey! Lots of other great tracks. Another great album for Beyoncé, but I expect nothing less!
Just a shame she doesn't want to release music videos anymore. Would kill for some for both this and Renaissance.

The "Cuff It" of the album. If they play their cards right, this will be a big hit!

This gets better and better on each listen. Turning into one of my favourite tracks on the album.

This is so good! Dolly & Beyoncé's harmonies throughout the song are gorgeous.

It'll be interesting to see how "Like That" does in the coming weeks. Taylor might not even be able to debut at #1 if its streaming holds up. Might be "The Box" of this year. ? You know Taylor’s last real new single debuted at 550 or 600 points right? Honestly, I completely forgot how big the debut for "Anti-Hero" was! For some reason I was thinking it was 350-400. Since then spotify has grown quite a bit so she could outdo herself if the quality of her next album is on par with Midnights.

Love this! I hope it does well in the US. Already becoming a nice sized hit in the UK.

Like That seems like it’ll stay at #1 until Taylor comes. Amazing for a diss track.. It'll be interesting to see how "Like That" does in the coming weeks. Taylor might not even be able to debut at #1 if its streaming holds up. Might be "The Box" of this year. I also find it hard to believe a song from Beyoncé's album will challenge it next week? Even if "I Like That" drops a bit in the second week, it'll still be a very strong #1. In fact given how well its streaming is doing, it may even approach 500 points this week? *_*

The song is HOT! Obvs it is not that different from what has been made public, but it's really mellow, super sexy. Even if it's not a hit, it's a pretty solid song. Oh, btw, album comens May 17th ;) Exciting! I'm glad she decided to go the R&B route. I feel like she'll find bigger success/longevity on Urban/Rhythmic radio with the odd crossover to Pop/HAC. "Wild Side" is still a total bop and Urban/Rhythmic radio really helped it to have some longevity on the Hot 100! I hope she films a killer music video for the song!

I would say this is the most radio-friendly song on the album, bar "Vampire". Much more radio-friendly than "Bad Idea Right". I can see it going top 10 on Pop radio fairly easily. Gives me "Bad Guy" meets "Good For You" vibes. If her team plays their cards right it should do well and become another hit for her. Perhaps the second biggest hit of the album behind "Vampire". I disagree, I would definitely say Get Him Back! (hence it already getting quite a bit of airplay) and Love Is Embarrassing.
I would say "Obsessed" is more instant from the get go and the verses are better (particualrly the production). "Get Him Back!" has a great chorus though and deserved to be a bigger hit than what it was.

I wonder if "Obsessed" will trend up throughout the week and debut top 10? It had a good hold day 2 on spotify. Will likely see it climb back in the top 10 on spotify with some of the Future & Metro Boomin album falling.
I have to say the last few weeks or so have been really fun chart-wise with so many big releases and lots of unexpected things happening! Will be nice to see a number of songs become recurrent this week with the Future & Metroboomin/Hozier/Olivia debuts.
I believe these are the songs that will be going recurrent?
Morgan Wallen - "Last Night" Morgan Wallen - "Thinkin' Bout Me" Luke Combs - "Fast Car"
SZA - "Snooze" may also be at risk depending on how big/strong the album bomb is. Although will likely fall to ~20-25 as opposed to below 25.

I'm happy that it's doing well on streaming and making a big splash on radio the first couple days, but long-term I don't really see it performing any better than Bad Idea Right, because like that, it just doesn't sound too radio friendly to me.

The deluxe release was a good idea. As much of a mess as this era has been handled, this should boost the album quite nicely and "Obsessed" should be able to become a nice sized hit, hopefully another top 10!

Wish there was room for Cardi, too, since there is nothing worse than a #11 peak. Cardi will probably debut top 10 now, perhaps even as high as #7. She's climbed massively the last couple days on spotify - now up to #28. Looks like the song is going viral I assume? Will likely see another climb/good gain when we get Thursday's update tomorrow which should seal the deal for her debuting top 10.

Rises to a new peak of #28 on spotify. Looks like it's taking off there/going viral?
Likely going to debut top 10 at this rate, especially with Rhythmic/Urban picking this up so quickly!

The album is my favourite album of hers now. It's just such as vibe, I love it.
Singles in an ideal world:
1. "yes, and?" 2. "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" 3. "the boy is mine (feat. SZA)" 4. "bye" 5. "don't wanna break up again (feat. The Weeknd)"
She'd end up with 4 #1s/5 top 10s ("bye" the only song failing to get to #1). *_*

"The Boy Is Mine" with a SZA remix for her 3rd #1 would be amazing.
Also am I the only one who thinks "don't wanna break up" would make a great autumn 2024/winter 2025 single with a remix with The Weeknd? I can imagine his voice lending itself really nicely to the song.

Hoping double Doja, Taylor, Dua and Tyla all keep falling/accelerate in their falling (well Taylor can't really go any faster) to make room for newer songs to climb into the top 10 ("Texas Hold 'Em"/"Beautiful Things" & "Stick Seasons" in particular, plus "we can't be friends"/"Training Season"/"Not My Fault" in the near future).
Hoping "Selfish" hits a brick wall and plummets soon.

Happy this went to #1. I assume it'll slow down quite a bit in its fall next week. Making room for the upcoming album (or for "Cruel Summer" as we get closer to summer lol).

Production and chorus is great. Verses aren't that great though, particularly the last 1 and brings the song down a bit. Likely a big hit on Urban/Rhythmic.
Also the video visuals are great, Cardi looks amazing.

Interested to see what the Billboard number will be. Sweetener did 231,000 so she might be able to do that or a bit higher if the billboard number is slightly higher.
Really good numbers for Ariana though! The album will likely have really good legs.

Shame Beyoncé didn't release any videos for Renaissance and looking to do the same for Cowboy Carter. Hopefully album release week will boost "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" enough for another week at #1 with its airplay likely being at or near its peak then!

Hopefully with the date in May we'll get another single a week before the album perhaps? "Training Season" will likely be low on most charts by then (It's already starting to fall below "Houdini" on streaming in a number of places).

Ariana going #1 will depend mostly on sales. Expect remixes and instrumentals to pop up soon. Impressive increases on Spotify WW though. Seems like it's being accepted way more than the previous single. She increased in streams in the US quite a bit as well, particularly considering Sunday most songs decrease, particularly newer songs. Wouldn't be surprised if she has a decent increase again in tomorrow's update - maybe even challenging for #1 on spotify.

Based on Kworb, Ariana did ~2.8 million on youtube 8/3-9/3 (doesn't include SNL), almost double what the #2 is doing (and quite above most of her competition for this week). So that should help.

Very good hold for Ariana in the second day!
"we can't be friends (wait for your love)" increased in streams a bit and is now #2 on Spotify and has climbed to #2 on Apple Music. The youtube views are quite big too and it's #5 on iTunes.
I suspect a top 5 debut on the Hot 100, perhaps even top 3?
