One of the songs to be released on the deluxe version of “GUTS”. The full version has been shared by fans on TikTok who found the song as a hidden track on a version of the vinyl.
Personally it’s my new favorite from the album. I find it stands out because it’s rare for her to sing a song in minor key like this. Her inflections around lines like “I can’t help it” before the chorus I think are fun too, lol.

This is one song above the bottom for me. I didn't really need another bratty song from her, but yeah, this shows up on the Amazon pink vinyl variant.

Next radio single from GUTS. From Variety: But "Obsessed" certainly is of a piece with the record's more uptempo tracks, and it was the one bonus track to make the setlist for Rodrigo's current tour. Now the track — which she cowrote with Dan Nigro and Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent — has been announced as her new radio single, as well. |

KIIS is playing it now to kick off the 6am hour. We should see this make a nice splashy debut in the top 50 tomorrow..
Edit.. they're playing it again at 7am.. I think the last time KIIS did an actual hourly premiere was Britney & Elton's Hold Me Closer back in 2022. All KIIS's Friday premieres between then and now have been every 2hrs.

Gotta say that I like this better than all the other GUTS singles. My favorites are this and “so american”. Hope the latter also becomes a single too. |

I don't think I'd put this above bad idea right or get him back personally, HOWEVER this is 10x more radio friendly than those tracks so I think it'll outperform them.

I'm curious how this is going to do after the uptempos from this album did just okay. Obviously this will have the benefit of being new to streaming, so it can come out of the gate strong. But long-term, I do wonder.
This almost works for me. The chorus feels like it's building to something great, but it falters before it gets there. Either way, glad to see St. Vincent getting those coins, she's still rolling around in that "Cruel Summer" money.
