oh god again? LOL Britney’s UK publicist, Shoshanna Stone, Tweeted this inconspicuous message alluding to a possible Britney performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Or at least a rumor that will eventually get out of control only to let fans down. She said: “I am officially ridiculously excited for the EMA’s now. There will be a performance which will blow everyone away including me!” There are two reasons why Britney isn't performing at the EMA's 1st - the performers have already been announced. 2nd - she has a concert that night.

I think a 4th quarter 2012 release would be great also, but i think her next album will be summer 2013.

Pre release: ''OMG this is going to smash!!!'' ''Smashney does it again'' ''i predict top 5 on pop''
Post release: ''this was so obviously a flop, should have gone with Inside Out'' ''knew that radio wouldnt receive this well, flop!'' ''i smelled this as flop when Femme Fatale was released''

Arent you basically describing the Hold It Against Me video? i thought that while typing, but i mean a much more literal video. i had to describe a lot of hold it against me to my friends to that could understand it, it was beautfiully executed, and the message was amazingly displayed, it just wasnt very in ur face. what im suggesting is something very literal, but like i said it could be too much for brit, i just think it could get SO Much media hype and promo Oh ok, but i think to be honest at this stage going back to her breakdown would seem a bit cheap and tacky just to boost sales and publicity, im sure she wont look back on it again to be honest.

im getting concerned this wont sell gold. i think next era they way britney could really get some good attention is if she focuses on her breakdown. i know she doesnt like thinking about it but if they did something similar to rihanna's we found love video, which spotlighted the chris brown relationship, brit could get HUGE media love, if handled properly. i think that could be the first step in getting her another platnium album Arent you basically describing the Hold It Against Me video?

...no one said your view was shocking. I'm not even entirely sure where that came about. Radio doesn't exclusively function on their own brains, however. Typically, there's a correlation between such things as radio airplay, public interest, and sales (this isn't factoring in "payola" as it's existence is debatable). To put it another way: if no one liked it, radio wouldn't play it because then radio wouldn't be getting the audience needed to continue operation. Does that make sense? yes that does make sense, BUT what about when people cant chart high even if they have good sales, just because radio wont play their song, like if their is a stigma against that artist? IE if they do teen music, i know radio tends not to like that, even though it has good sales, radio stops it getting high on the BBHot100 is that fair? Q: is payola where a company pays radio to play their artists song? or have i got that wrong?

Every other country in the world uses JUST SALES why is my view so shocking? i really dont understand why someone would factor in radio plays because the radio can play it all they want, but if no one likes it then they wont buy it. i think it can create a false sense on the chart that a song is liked, when in fact it is not liked, it is just that the radio keep playing it.

So it doesn't matter whether or not anyone actually listens to the single, whether or not is has longevity, where it peaks on the charts, how big of a cultural impact it makes, or how long it's remembered so long as it sells big? Wow, I've been living a lie. basically yeah, because to me, the only way to tell if a song is LIKED is by its SALES..... why are you saying chart peaks? and longevity? basically my whole argument is based on the fact that i dont like how radio counts towards BBhot100

Why did you scrible it out and then put that face as though what i had said wasnt relevant? Stab in the dark guess - maybe because you said that sales was the only way to judge the Success of a single on a radio forum? i stand by what i have said

I was talking about sales, not peak positions, so yeah Circus era did a lot better lets compare
Circus: Womanizer 3 Xplatinum Circus 2 X Platinum If U Seek Amy Platinum
Femme Fatale: HIAM Platinum TTWE 2 X Platinum I Wanna Go Platinum
so yeah Circus did better, i think the only way to measure a singles performance is through sales, radio plays do not matter. Why did you scrible it out and then put that face as though what i had said wasnt relevant?

^ Singles not doing as well as the Circus era? Both lead singles hit No. 1 (though HIAM had less longevity than "Womanizer"), the second singles both peaked at No. 3 and the third single from this album peaked at No. 7, compared to the No. 19 peak of IUSA. And, "Criminal" will outpeak "Radar." maybe on the pop chart they haven't been quite as successful (i.e. the last album notched two No. 1s at the format), but they've still done well- and "Criminal' has outdone "Radar" there. As ive already said, i wasnt talking about peak positions, i was talking about sales.

its a shame her singles arent doing as well as they did in the Circus era :/ ..what? The Femme Fatale era is thus far proving to be one of her most successful eras from a singles standpoint. It's already more than trumped Circus.I was talking about sales, not peak positions, so yeah Circus era did a lot better lets compare Circus: Womanizer 3 Xplatinum Circus 2 X Platinum If U Seek Amy Platinum Femme Fatale: HIAM Platinum TTWE 2 X Platinum I Wanna Go Platinum so yeah Circus did better, i think the only way to measure a singles performance is through sales, radio plays do not matter.

why is everyone so hung up over her loving the song, shes said that about pretty much all the songs on the album. i think if she releases a 5th single which im hoping she will then i think it should be Inside Out, its the only one i see being a seller which is what she needs, its a shame her singles arent doing as well as they did in the Circus era :/

Im so sick of people saying ''oh maybe she will promote it this time, or maybe she will perform it at such and such award show'' no its just not going to happen, it has been obvious to me that the only US promotion she would do was at the start of the era, and the only international promo she gave it was those crappy 3 minute interviews repeating herself like a damn parrot in each of them! - just take it that this is as good as it gets, lack luster performances, dissconnected interviews and little promo from her team. i dont want people next era to be like ''oh shes gonna do so good'' no, it will be the same as this. Thanks for yet another sterling observation. I'm fairly certain that most of us know all of that. Well ive seen plenty of people on here saying that maybe it will all get better and it irks me! Also i dont credit this song flopping to the actual song, i think its just the 4th single curse that britney seems to have.

''The pop diva is having trouble selling tickets in the U.K. Tickets for her October 30 "Femme Fatale" show in Birmingham have been reduced via Groupon. Promoter LiveNation defended the move, stating, "Offering a deal on Groupon is not a reflection of the quality or status or sales of a show." '' - eesshh

It really bugs me that they dont even certify her singles anymore, perhaps since she is now part of RCA they will start to certify the singles, not that it makes a difference to the performance of the song but i think it is just lazy and disrespectful for a label not to recognise how good its artists are doing.

im excited for the video yes, but it looks as though she wont be performing on the XFactor UK as id hoped, the one where they have live guests on is sunday night, but while she is in the UK i checked and she has concerts both sundays that she is here in the UK :( then she leaves for Abu Dabhi, and then a few nights after that she has a sunday spare... but like 2 days after that sunday she is supposed to be in south america with her tour, so i really doubt shel be on this year :( oh well. Cant wait for the criminal vid! im gonna guess criminal will have a hot100 peak of 21

Don't forget she's also sold just about nothing in one of the Word's biggest markets - Japan! The figures are even more astonishing when you realise that. '21's sales total at the end of the year will be at least twice as many as the nearest challenger. Astonishing. I dont think twice as many, (i am in no way a lady gaga fan) but i saw her on jonathan ross the other night and she said born this way has just sold 7 million copies, so maybe not twice as many but it will be a lot more! PS i wouldnt put it past gaga to lie about her sales :@

Lol, i know, how many times has she said that! i think in every interview in europe she has said it! but that was a nice enough interview, playing with her hands like the KISS FM one, and towards the end i think she was getting a bit bored lol she just kept saying yes, yes, yes, tottally yes. but i did like it because she used some expresion in her face, which is always a good sign with britney imo

i dont think it will be Kylie Minogue, simply because, well first there has been no photo's of it, secondly if it was Kylie then her team would have promoted the hell out of it and created a big buzz for the video saying that Kylie will be in it, -- unless they're complete idiots
