Thank goodness. I hope she starts cranking out music regularly again. She went far too silent in the 00 - with the remix and compilation CDs.

I remember the horrible wait since Afterglow to Laws Of Illusion, and how disappointing that album was. Let's hope she churns out some gems like she used to :)

Laws of Illusion had qualities to it that made it better than the ones before but I feel like she's gotten too stuck in her ways of writing. I wrote a review for the album last year on my website: www.themaxonline.net/2010/12/08/review-laws-of-illusion/"This record makes little effort to stand out even just from her own catalogue so it stands to reason that it certainly won't in comparison to other music currently being released."

The Laws of Illusion is my favorite album of hers. Still mad 'Love Come' wasn't a single. I feel it could have regained some much needed attention to her music again.
But I'm glad to hear she is already preparing for the next album.

She doesn't really have a core format at radio to promote her music anymore (Triple A doesn't have nearly a wide enough audience). Even Hot AC and AC have sidelined a lot of the 90s light rock artists like Sarah and Sheryl Crow. It makes sense for Sarah to speed up the rate of her output if her albums aren't selling millions anymore.

Terry McBride is not her manager anymore. She left Nettwerk as far as management is concerned and is working with another artist for her album last time I checked. I have tickets for her Atlantic City show.

Oh thats great that she's still with a major label. This will never be a problem for her. Her albums do not cost a lot to market or produce. She's very low-key as far as major artists go. She'll recover from Laws of Illusion.

"What's It Gonna Take" - original composition written by Sarah McLachlan for the score of King Kong, a brand new musical production premiering in Melbourne, Australia on 15 June 2013. This song was written for the character Ann Darrow and in the show will be performed by Esther Hannaford.

Good news! I'll be on The #TonightShow with @jayleno on January 30th singing a song from my new album I had asked her when people could expect the studio version. She may have been confused, or by "video clip" she may mean lyric video, I don't know. hope to get a video clip up after the show so check back on my site

So I'm wondering if we should expect the studio version on iTunes shortly thereafter assuming she's performing the first single?
If so, that would mean an album in March or April.

She really is slow at releasing music :/ Maybe. But she has her process for making her records so she has to do it right. At least it's not 10 years like Sade. ;)
