Some people are saying their Reputation icons on streaming platforms are blacked out. Hmmm.

Maybe it's an alternate version of TTPD, either an acoustic version album or recorded with a different producer or something like that.
Or a digital release of the Eras Tour album - but I can't see her releasing that without physicals because it has the potential to be a hot seller.

Post Malone extended mix for Fortnight would be sufficient

Warning: 🤡 ahead.
Apparently Taylor's Instagram grid is aligned again (when that happens, something releases). Most are speculating something is coming tomorrow, just no one knows what. I think it has to do with TTPD. If you look up what an anthology is, it's typically a compilation from a collection of authors by an editor. What if it's part 3 of TTPD and it's an album full of duets/features of other "tortured poets"? I'm so intrigued by this all. Watch it be nothing. lol I'm just so interested in all the decoding.
Welp: WOMP WOMP! Guess all those clues to 5/3 were nothing. lol

Some people are saying their Reputation icons on streaming platforms are blacked out. Hmmm. People need to chill with the Rep stuff LMAO. 1 - She is NOT doing a surprise drop of these re-releases. She wants everything to go to #1 and Physical sales guarantee it for her. This would also be too close to TTPD. There is a 0.01% chance it comes out before the Fall. 2 - It's also very possible she drops debut first. She has spaced out the huge album eras. I think its 50/50. Ending on debut is super anti-climactic unless its a 13 disc box set or something. 3 - Why is everyone so obsessed with this re-release anyway? It's re-recorded versions of songs we already know (often sounding worse than the OG versions) and some extra vault tracks that (aside from Red Vault) probably should stay in the vault. (this isn't directed at you)

Personally, I don't see absolutely any harm in anyone having fun with easter eggs even when they're dead wrong, even if they're completely off base re-releases or otherwise (I think the Rep re-release would go #1 surprise drop or not). It's just a fun pastime and no one is forced to participate. I think people are just excited for Rep and no harm in that. A bit surprised how it seems Rep is the most anticipated re-release however, even moreso than 1989. I guess despite what some called a decline, people really gravitated to that album in the long run.
Random also but just for fun:
First 15 of TTPD vs the second 15 ("Clara Bow" the extra)
01.) "The Black Dog" 02.) "The Tortured Poets Department" 03.) "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" 04.) "Down Bad" 05.) "How Did It End?" 06.) "But Daddy I Love Him" 07.) "Fresh Out The Slammer" 08.) "thanK you aIMee 09.) "I Look In People's Windows" 10.) "The Prophecy" 11.) "I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)" 12.) "Loml" 13.) "The Bolter" 14.) "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" 15.) "The Manuscript"
"Clara Bow"

TS has made the right choice with zero promo for this project. Not even a remix.
It's more than her closing the chapter on TTPD, she's aware she's on the verge of repeat of what lead to 'Reputation' era.
She's been in the news constantly for 18 months.
Laying low, at least until Paris, is simply smart.

What’s everyone’s single choices? Right now for me it’s:
1) fortnight (ft Post Malone) 2) I Can Do It With a Broken Heart 3) down bad (ft Sza) 4) the alchemy OR guilty as sin OR so long london OR but daddy I love him OR fresh out the slammer

This has been my gym mix for a long time 👍🏽 Wish the user would do the same for Evermore too.

Do we know how many copies of the digital version of the album were sold via iTunes or from her store, etc.?
I’m curious to know how digital albums sell nowadays.
I love how fun she is making record-buying for her fans. It’s cool with all the different formats, colors. I don’t know how people are criticizing this. I wish all singers would do this and this is coming from more of a casual fan!

Lol at "no promo!!". It's been two weeks and this is the exact same rollout she's done for every album since RED TV. It works for her. I expect at least one more single eventually.

After sitting with it for two weeks, both albums are now fully grown on me—there’s something to love about every single one of these 31 tracks. It still doesn’t quite touch evermore, though, and I wonder what will—that album truly holds a deeply special place in my heart. Just dropping by to say that as much as I love "The Prophecy," the line "Who do I have to speak to / about if they can redo the prophеcy?" always rings in my mind like a Karen asking to speak to the manager NOT Karen Swift!!! I'm hoping someone will host a rankdown for the album. I think I'm ready to submit to an order of favs from it. I may or may not be able to confirm that a manuscript may or may not currently be in the process of being written. It may or may not be on the desk of Team Taylor. This is currently in the very early stages, and could take some time, as all manuscripts do. Please stay tuned for further correspondence in the future.

I've been sitting with this album for the last couple of weeks, and after initially being slightly underwhelmed, I now wonder if it is my favourite Taylor album. To me, this is the epitome of an album that needs to be sat with and digested versus being intended for instant consumption.
31 tracks are admittedly an awful lot, and at first I thought it was too many, but I have come to truly enjoy every one (though some certainly more than others). I'm so glad to see this getting the success that it deserves.

Circling back to say this album is a masterpiece that grows on you like the finest of wines. The only song I haven't been able to get into is "thank you Aimee." I think my favorite is "Peter."

I’ve had this on repeat since release day. Definitely my favorite album of hers. Only song I don’t like is Florida.

Still just as much as love with this as I was two weeks ago.
The album I needed to heal and move onto the next chapter of my life. I don’t see this not being my #1 Taylor album in a year’s time.

Yeah to be honest, I think this may have replaced Evermore as my favorite Taylor album! The one song I wasn't fond of, I've come around to, and it's been years since the last time an album had absolutely zero skips for me (there's only maybe 2 other Taylor albums that would qualify as skipless for me). Even if we include the 2nd half and swell the list to 31 tracks there isn't a single song I can't appreciate/don't like. "The Prophecy", "The Bolter", "The Black Dog", "How Does It End?" are some of the best written songs in her catalog. It's truly a grower of an album. I really feel like years from now, as with Reputation and some of her other works, it will only be appreciated even more for the magnum opus that it is. Folklore/Evermore are amazing efforts in their own right, but not only is this album lyrically beautiful, melodically gorgeous, but exhibits raw, personal aspects of Taylor we've never seen or explored before and it feels intimately personal in a way those albums didn't. I just adore it more and more!

evermore has really proved itself to be one of her most enduring albums for me years later. I revisit it more than I do folklore.

This evermore praise makes my heart happy. From the way I found out about its release (truly a surprise, I had no Internet access for a couple days and thus found out from the morning news that it had been released) to its lyrical content and sound to the cohesiveness to the major personal impact the title track continues to have on me four years later, it holds a deeply special place for me. For so long, it has felt like this album has suffered under the shadow of its sister and has been so incredibly overrated and it’s lovely to see people finally start coming around to it. There’s a magic to evermore that folklore doesn’t fully capture imo, outside of a select few songs.

Gathering with my coven of sisters around the sorceress’s table to declare that Evermore remains her best album, period.
