Concrete is such a flawless album. I'm in love with it. Drink Myself Single needs to be single #3... hopefully after SWTL makes it to the Top 20 eventually, though. And then It Wrecks Me or Fall for Me for the fourth single would be nice. :)

^ Cool. I didn't expect to hear anything about his album soon, let alone that its being released in a couple months. Will have to check it out as I love Storm Warning.

HUNTER HAYES TO RELEASE SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM ON ATLANTIC RECORDS OCTOBER 11 Posted by Hunter Hayes Web Crew | Aug 24 2011 3:19pm Get your countdown ready! Hunter Hayes is set to release his self-titled Atlantic Records debut album on October 11th. Hunter wrote/co-wrote every song, co-produced with veteran producer Dan Huff and played every instrument on the album.
The 12-track album will include the Top 30 hit single "Storm Warning" as well as fan-favorites "Wanted," "Somebody's Heartbreak," and "Love Makes Me."
Hunter Hayes Track Listing: 1. Storm Warning 2. Wanted 3. If You Told Me To 4. Love Makes Me 5. Faith 6. Somebody’s Heartbreak 7. Rainy Season 8. Cry 9. Somebody But Me 10. What You Gonna Do 11. More Than I Should 12. All You Ever
This album is really going to be great! His 2008 Indie album was great as well that used to be on Itunes but is gone now.
Oct 4 is Scotty, Oct 11 is Lauren and Hunter. So I guess October is teen's month in Country! lol!

Wasn't really sure where else to put this...I'll start a listening party for "Hell On Heels" hopefully sometime this week, assuming all the songs get uploaded to Mediabase.
Columbia Nashville’s Pistol Annies, the band formed by Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, should do 35-40k for their nicely named debut, Hell on Heels. Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, co-wrote the closing track on the album, “Family Feud.”

It's possible that David could get a new album out yet this fall. "Let It Rain" should move up a few more spots on Monday's chart and is closing in on the top 20, so if they stick with that yet, they could maybe get it into the top 20, get the album out, and then release the next single.

^ Agreed. I can still put in his debut album, listen to it from beginning to end, put it on repeat, and not get tired of it. VERY impressive debut.

- "Teenage Daughters" music video
- "Teenage Daughters" studio video

It looks like Lady A's doing the iTunes countdown thing for their new album. The studio version of "Dancing Away With My Heart" is on iTunes now. Whoa, thanks!

www.billboard.com/features/lady-antebellum-the-billboard-cover-story-1005330382.storyThis news is five days old, but Lady Antebellum are featured on the cover of Billboard magazine in an exclusive "Own The Night" PR interview. The third page pretty much confirms what I've been predicting their third album will sound like: more of the same overproduced fodder from the "Need You Now" cycle, but perhaps with better selected and executed song choices. Even the promotional photoshoot might as well be used interchangeably with that of "Need You Now". It does not surprise me in the slightest that Dallas Davidson's name is linked to both their latest #1 and the tightly-constructed promotional single "Dancin' Away With My Heart". Both sound like major hits in the making, while the non-Davidson affiliated current title track single lacks that cohesion and identifiable hook. The trio have demonstrated they can be rather effective songwriters (Hillary Scott, for instance, being linked to Sara Evans' recent smash)..........but it seems they still have a bit to learn about sharpening the hooks and melodies of some of their songs, and it probably served them quite well to collaborate with Davidson. It is for that reason why I can see myself liking this forthcoming album more than "Need You Now", though I still see it lagging to their debut because of the overproduction. Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS

But there's no need to complain necessarily, since the same single is nowhere to be seen on Country radio so it isn't like it has been rolled out like a standard Miranda Lambert & Friends project but, rather, an honest, demographic supergroup that, if anything, features Lambert in the background more often that at the forefront. That Billboard article has numerous errors in it. The big one is that Dallas Davidson did NOT have a hand in co-writing "Dancin' Away With My Heart". That song was penned by Lady A and Josh Kear, the same team behind "Need You Now". Davidson DID co-write "Just A Kiss" (they got that correct), and also co-wrote the current single "We Owned The Night" with the trio members. It also erroneously states that "Need You Now" peaked at #3 on the Hot 100 when it actually peaked at #2. And the last thing that "bothered" me but wasn't really an error was how they said their debut album opened strongly but "without a big radio hit". I think it was Capitol/EMI pres. Mike Dungan saying "they didn't have a hit 'til the 3rd single, 'I Run To You'", but I'd call the #3 peak of "Love Don't Live Here" quite the hit..

The current single is actually a Dallas Davidson Co-write and the Song Dancin Away with My Heart is co-written with Josh Kear, who also co-wrote NYN. I personally like Dancin Away with My Heart much better than the two singles they have released so far from this upcoming CD.

However, "Where I Come From" is not even close to the same concept (IMO) as Alan's song so maybe I'm wrong on all counts. I always enjoy their albums and will buy this one as well.

^ I hope its their own song, because that's one of my favorite Gretchen Wilson songs, and I shudder imagining them butchering it.
