What was your favorite performance of the night? Not to offend, but just because Whitney Houston died, you should not automatically pick said tribute/performance. Focus on singing, the set-up on the stage/atmosphere, the energy, etc.

01 Jennifer Hudson 02 Adele 03 Alicia Keys / Bonnie Raitt
04 Nicki Minaj (Don't hate me for this, but it was entertaining as it was wrong).

The Civil Wars should be seperate from Taylor Swift, really. If so, I would've picked them.
But next best were Adele and Jennifer Hudson.

1. Adele- best vocal of the night, inspiration to the industry and public, very unassuming
2. Jennifer Hudson- very nice vocal, touching tribute, but Jennifer's "foghorn" tone to some of her notes still irks me a bit
3. Bruno Mars- very good entertainment, vocals, dancing
4. Jason Aldean/Kelly Clarkson- although not Kelly's best performance, still great vocals 5. Alicia Keys/Bonnie Raitt- both were 6. Tony Bennett/Carrie Underwood- Carrie was awesome, Tony was off though

Nicki. She had me watching the most intently. I laughed, I cried, I was happy, I had sorrow. What more can you ask for???

1. Adele 2. Coldplay/Rihanna (It's insane how much her vocal has improved since her debut) 3. The Foo Fighters 4. Kelly/Jason 5. Katy
Didn't like Jennifer's performance at all. Never was a fan of her voice but something seemed lacking here.

01 Jennifer Hudson 02 Adele 03 Alicia Keys / Bonnie Raitt 04 Nicki Minaj (Don't hate me for this, but it was entertaining as it was wrong). Wow, this would be how I would rate the performances also. I also liked the WFL performance, but POC and P were not good at all.

1. Adele - no explanation needed 2. Bruno - fun, high energy 3. Jason and Kelly - I will admit this is just bias for me. This song is old and honestly not one that is capable of making a huge impression, no matter how superb the vocals. They did sound great though...well, when their mics were on, anyway 4. JHud - this left me wanting more, but it was simple, tasteful, and well-done considering the last-minute scramble to do something in Whitney's honor 5. Tony and Carrie - Like Jason and Kelly, a good but not very memorable performance 6. Rihanna (WFL) - so she waited until the song peaked and is on its way down, but I FINALLY got a decent vocal performance of this out of her. I know this is not an entirely popular opinion, but I enjoyed it and thought she sounded good. POC unfortunately didn't work out nearly as well though; this was less b/c of her vocals to me and more b/c her voice and Chris' just did not blend well when they started singing together (and Chris was just off the whole way through anyway). Unfortunate that they were not able to capture the essence of the recording. Everyone else was forgettable to me (except for Nicki, which...well...Nicki). But then if I am to be honest about it everything aside from Adele and to a lesser extent JHud and Nicki have already been forgotten by the majority of people. This night was basically overshadowed by Adele's expected sweep and Whitney's death. Otherwise the show was really uneventful and boring.

This was tough because I think there were a lot of great performances tonight. I'd almost make it a 5-way tie between Bruno, Foo Fighters, the Glen Campbell tribute, Adele and J.Hud. I can't vote. The worst was Rihanna and Coldplay. I concluded my liveblog Grammy review with that: www.themaxonline.net/2012/02/12/its-grammy-night/Tomorrow's most talked about performance? Maybe Nicki.

Can't really pick one.
It's between Bruno Mars, Adele, Tony Bennett & Carrie Underwood, and J-Hud.
If The Civil Wars had their own slot they would have got my vote.

Jennifer Hudson.
Very tasteful, she performed without making it about her. It was like watching her personal goodbye to Whitney. Two years ago, Whitney awarded Jennifer her first Grammy on that VERY stage... I'm sure she was incredibly overwhelmed. She kept it together, sounded flawless, and was simply classy.
Tony and Carrie / Adele would be next.

Clearly Adele but I also thought Jennifer Hudson did a wonderful job. Also, really enjoyed Alicia and Bonnie. There were a few other good ones, too, among the usual not so good ones.

There were basically only four performances that I really liked. Coldplay/Rihanna, Maroon 5/Foster the People/Beach Boys, Adele, and Jennifer Hudson.
I was expecting to love the electronic segment but it was crap. :(

I thought J Hud was phenomenal, so I voted for her. Adele was great too, and so was the Carrie/Tony duet. I actually liked Taylor's too. And I liked the Glen Campbell performance. It was a good show.

Jennifer Hudson. Absolutely stunning and brought tears to my eyes. Whitney would've been proud.
