Silver Bells makes me want to vomit. That's one of her worst recordings ever. Maybe it's just my lack of preference for that song... but I can't listen to it more than 10 seconds.

There are many songs on Kat's Christmas CD that are awesome. She is in her element singing these songs. Her duet with Chris Botti in 'Have Yourself a Merry Christmas' is just special. Love all her songs especially the ballads. :)
As posted before heavy promotion will take place in Nov. Unfortunately, her Christmas CD will not be available at your local stores right now. Itunes & on-line music stores are where you can find it at the moment.

That is probably the highlight of the album. Wonderful job on it... except for the "bow" towards the end where her voice gives out or something. Odd that they'd keep that in. She should've done the whole disc with Chris Botti.

Awesome!
First week sales are looking pretty disappointing...most likely in between 5-7k. Let's just hope we can get the label to push the music to radio when the time comes around and for holiday appearances to boost sales

Once the Nov. holiday season comes around Verve promotion will kick in. According to someone close to the Kat team, a few holiday songs will be sent to radio station. It will be up to the station to pick and chose which to play.

I love "It's Not Christmas Without You." It's a beautiful song that AC radio would eat up if it's pushed.
Sure, it's a bit too "Miss You Most At Christmas Time," but that one doesn't get too much play anymore. It'd be great to hear it on the radio in the coming months! Any news on if its going to be released as a single?

I think there's pretty much a general assumption among Kat fans that that song is the favorite from the album

#50 album on HDD has sold approximately 3k so far this week with just over 50% in. I'm guessing CITTTSILY will move about 2-3k for first week

Few of Kat fans have reported buying her Christmas CD at some Target and Wal-Mart stores. So the CD is starting to roll out slowly to the stores. Unfortunately, not in my area yet. :(
Nov 2 is the date I saw as to when certain stations will be start playing Christmas music.

As long as they actually promote it and send singles to the radio, I don't care about a low debut. As long as it sells well in the end.

The album debuted at #11 on Billboard's Top Holiday Albums chart.
I say not bad for an album with hardly a promotion. November might be different story.

That isn't bad. I'm going to be really pissed off if they don't send an official single to radio. They have a perfect opportunity here and they better use it to their advantage
