I'm very excited that she worked with Shaun Silva. He's great. I am as well. His work is outstanding (at least the vids I've seen anyway) and I think this video could be really special if done right. I'm really looking forward to it!

Do you guys think Carrie will change her setlist or add/delete anything for the Fall leg of the tour? If I recall, she may have changed one song during the Carnival Ride tour on the Fall leg. Not sure.

She added I Told You So to the setlist in the fall leg, I'm pretty sure. Other than that I think that was it. I kinda doubt there will be any major changes.

When the video comes out on Vevo does that mean it will be available to watch at midnight tonight? Or will it premiere sometime tomorrow.

i'm convinced Roman was contracted to do the videos from her first 2 albums. i know carrie shot that idea down, but it cannot be a coincidence he came up with the best treatment for the first 8 and then hasn't been used since

I'm glad she is using different directors now. She needs to step up the quality and creativity of her music videos.

I think Carrie just didn't want to talk about stuff that went on behind the scenes.

I can definitely see how you'd think that Jeff, and I think there may have been some kind of contract, but why didn't he direct the ITYS video? I mean, I know that that video was different because it was live, but still, wouldn't that breach the contract?

Today is her first interview on Radio Disney! She'll be on from 6-8pm ET, 3-5pm PT. "Undo It" went to #2 there, so she'll probably talk about that and American Idol.

Tweeted VEVO four times asking about whether the video would be up at midnight. They're response: " VEVO @skemann Our Magic 8 Ball says "Reply hazy, try again" Hmmm. (Fingers crossed) " Those shady mothereffers. I think it will be.

^ Wow. that is a shady response! It's so unprofessional. . I hope it does come out at midnight. Ps. Carrie's official youtube page posted the short video of Carrie with her mom on the set of the Mama's Song video. I think that may be the one that was on the fan club a few days ago...Here it is... www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzvZSZ1KNcYCarrie is so cute in the video. I love her relationship with her Mom! :) Should bring some good chemistry in the video!

Although, the RD interview is nothing revolutionary, they're gonna start playing MS. Weird. They're playing it now. Wow. I guess Arista is going to try and push Carrie to be a RD staple, haha.

Backstage With Carrie Underwood's Crew: The Examiner.com www.examiner.com/rose-garden-in-portland/backstage-with-carrie-underwood-s-crewThe backstage area of the Rose Garden Arena has been buzzing since Monday morning when the Carrie Underwood crew arrived for rehearsals. Carrie is kicking off her “Play On Tour” in Portland on Saturday, September 25. The hallways are filled with gear, the smell of catering is wafting through the corridor and the locker rooms have been converted to offices. I had the opportunity to visit the office of the AEG Live dynamic duo comprised of Andrew Sharp and John Merritt. Their office is like no other. Road cases are open to display their work stations, folding tables have been converted to desks and are decorated with "A Christmas Story" leg lamps and the Benny Hill Theme Song is blasting in the background. Not to mention, that right outside the office they have a custom made corn hole set and their own segways. Andrew Sharp is the AEG Tour Accountant and John Merritt is the Production Manager for the Carrie Underwood Tour. John handles the logistics of bringing a large touring show to an arena. As the accountant, Andrew's job is the pay the bills and makes sure the building, the crew and Carrie gets paid. AEG Live has hired Andrew and John to represent them on the road and be the eyes and ears for the company. My path first crossed Andrew's back in 2003 when I worked at the Target Center in Minneapolis. However, it is pretty common to see the same faces when tours roll into town. Andrew has been on the road for 18 years. He started his career in 1991 with Rusted Root. He was friends with the band in college and while at one of their shows a guitar string broke and Andrew jumped in and saved the day. He continued to help the band out with a few things here and there like loading the equipment, hauling guitars to gigs, and buying rounds of beer. After hanging out long enough, it turned into a full-time gig. Fast forward to now and Andrew has secured himself a position with one of the premiere promoters in the country and travels around with artists like Carrie Underwood, the Eagles and The Spice Girls. However according to Andrew, life on the road is not as glamorous as one may think. They average about 5 1/2 shows a week and spend about 24 hours in each city. The crew wakes up on the tour bus in a new city almost every day, they roll into the building around 7:00 AM and shower in locker rooms and then get to work. They spend the entire day working with the building staff to load-in the show, it's showtime and then they spend the next three hours tearing down the show and loading everything back into the trucks. After a grueling day, they crawl into their bunks on the bus and let the bus gently rock them to sleep as they head to the next city. Occasionally, the dynamic duo gets a day off and they take full advantage of the local sites. They thoroughly enjoy visiting National Parks and quirky sites. One of Andrew's highlights was visiting the World's Largest Ball of Paint in Alexandria, Indiana. Portland happens to be one of their favorite stops on the tour. But why wouldn't it be with highlights like Voodoo Doughnuts and Mary's Club? So don't miss your chance to see Carrie Underwood perform this Saturday at the Rose Garden. Tickets are priced at $55.50, $45.50 and $35.50. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Rose Quarter Box Office, all participating Safeway/ TicketsWest outlets, by calling 877.789.ROSE (7673), or at ComcastTIX.com. But as you are watching the show, don't forget all of the hard work that goes on behind-the-scenes from people like Andrew and John.

To celebrate tommorrow's premiere of the music video for Mama's Song, I've put together a nice soundbite package you may want to listen to. Please make sure your speaker are turned up prior to entering the link. Enjoy. Link

At first I couldn't understand why Carrie seemed so conversational and nonchalant when singing, then you see it's her directly in front of her mom... chills. Honestly, a beautiful video. This is Mama Underwood's time to shine. :'(

Very nice video but I was hoping for more location shots, maybe a shot or two of her in her bikini in bora Bora? . Either way, it's much better than the previous ones.
