It's funny because while I liked I Gotta Feeling the most out of any of the singles from this record, (#2 hit on my chart) I did get burnt on it whereas Imma Be and Rock Your Body both took a long time for me to warm up to but I love both tracks. I SUPER burnt out on Meet Me Halfway and didn't really get into Boom Boom Pow as much as I did with any of the other four singles.
I do understand anyone's annoyance with them as a whole though.

For me, "Boom Boom Pow" failed to chart and "I Gotta Feeling" got #19 and was certified Gold on my chart, "Meet Me Halfway" peaked at #23 and was also Gold, while "Imma Be" and "Rock That Body" failed to chart.

that video sounds somewhat promising, but at the same time a little disappointing that they didn't go into a different direction. But that has to be a remix. Sounds kinda like a Chuckie mix I'm pretty sure that a remix of some sort, since it's from Will DJ-ing at EDC a couple months ago.

LOL why the hell did they sample the 'Dirty Dancing' song? all I can say from the first listen is that this makes 'Boom Boom Pow' look like a masterpiece

Anytime Fergie gets a real melody, she sings it ever-so-slightly (and just enough to be annoying) under pitch.

Before I post the actual subject of my message, I just want to precede it with the statement that I enjoy Fergie's music and own her solo disc + the 3 BEP albums since she joined.
Anyway,
I wonder how much formal musical training Fergie actually has (if any). She seems to have problems being in tune when singing live and it's also starting to bleed slightly into studio tracks.

The beat is extremely bad. It's even worse than Kelis' Acappella. Guetta needs to stop with this lazily produced garbage.

I like it, aside from Fergie's pitch problems.

One of the worst songs of the year. Detest the sample, which doesn't even compliment the beat (and sounds like a lazier Acapella). Awful.

They might as well have covered that song in its entirety. The beginning sounded great and then it changed and got awful. Not liking it.

This is so... . I can't. I mean, that's exactly what I thought about Boom Boom Pow, so whatever, but it just seems terribly lazy. And terrible. And why couldn't they have auto-corrected Fergie's pitch?

This song really goes nowhere.. It's like a terrible remix of a song that should be better. There's nothing too instant to me about it. It has no crazy catchy hook to make me remember to even bother buying it. I like it, but 'Boom Boom Pow' is a masterpiece compared to this.

Enough!!! at first all this electro-pop was refreshing, but everyone came and milked the hell out of it, so now the trend has gotten worse and the music is going in a dance-house direction, and it's just way too much! if I wanted to listen to house music I'd find it where it's supposed to be. Thank goodness there's RnB & Hip Hop so I would still have something to listen to. Start a new trend already! but a good one!

This song sounds like a 5 year old playing with his mother's old 80s albums and a drum beat on a Yamaha My First Keyboard.
These artists need to step up their game. Nelly Furtado, Pink, Rihanna, Ke$ha and now BEP's singles have all been really bland and underwhelming.

Not to defend this as being good or anything.

My God, I've just heard this. Horrible. The sample is actually the best part of this mess.
But then again, my favorite single from the last record is Meet Me Halfway and I Gotta Feeling is distant second. I hate Boom Boom Pow, Rock That Body and Imma Be.

Not a fan of BEP, but probably I will like this song just because based on this clip they used at least in the chorus the melody and the lyrics of "Time of my life" from "Dirty Dancing" Well...the sample from "Dirty Dancing" is the best part. Unfortunately it's not enough to make me to like this song. Even if this will be a hit based on BEP name, I will not change my opinion.
