How can you not believe when someone like Enrique Iglesias recently had two major hits after not having a hit in 8 years? Yeah, not only Enrique but Train, Nelly, and Eminem - all this year lol Eminem didn't really go anywhere ??? But I agree with Train, Enrique and Nelly. But only time can tell if they can have continuation with the success they have now or it's just a short term success

He hadn't had a Top 10 pop hit since 2005 I think people aren't fans of calling that a "comeback" in the general sense because his last album sold over 2 million copies despite no "top 10 pop hit". So it is not like his career was even close to dead. He had one of the top selling albums of 2009

I would cringe at an Ashlee Simpson comeback. She has to be one of my least favorite pop music voices...ever. Agreed... and cringe is really the best word for it. "the pee-SEZ, pee-SEZ, pieces of me" is playing in my head right now and I feel like I'm going to throw up. A Jessica Simpson comeback would be worse, though.

He had one of the top selling albums of 2009 I think when people refer to Eminem as having a comeback, they're referring to his success in combination with having a decent album. Recovery is seen as among his best albums whereas Relapse wasn't viewed in very high regard. It sold well but it also didn't really have any big hits. The Recovery era has good reviews, big hits AND high sales, the first time Em has had all three since... maybe the days of 8 Mile, although Encore did fairly well also I think.
