It seems like almost every year an artist that has been written off and failed with a previous album or even multiple previous album manages to come back with a big hit or even more than one big hit. Do you think anyone will have a big comeback in 2011 and if so who?

Christina Aguilera I'm serious. I think so too. I think she will put out an album that better balances her own style and current trends around Christmas next year and be successful. Burlesque didnt even flop as bad as people were expecting. I dont think she is necessarily done if they get their act together

I really hope that No Doubt hit hard with their new album. I realize they and Gwen as a solo artist have never really failed, but it has been almost 10 years since they've released an album.

No Doubt, Gwen and the boys will have a great year, BEP-like. And seriously where is Shania Twain? Her album is several years overdue. i think she should be over her divorce issue by now. She should make a comeback in 2011

I definitely think she has the potential to have another 'come back' in 2011.

Shania Twain never bombed, so it wouldn't really be a "comeback' if she scores with a new album.
I can't see anyone over 40, who has not fared all that hotly in recent years, scoring any major comeback. Unless they do an album full of tracks with younger acts (i.e. Carlos Santana- but as a guitarist only, that scenario was a little special).

Michelle Branch. She keeps saying about writing songs. I think she is out of country though. She released her Broken Bracelet to ITunes yesterday. She lost 6000 of the originals in the Nashville flood.

Being away for as long as Shania would, I think if/when she releases her new album it will be such a big deal for the industry and the fans that it may as well be pegged the Comeback of the Year!

I would cringe at an Ashlee Simpson comeback. She has to be one of my least favorite pop music voices...ever.
Here's hoping for a Shania and Michelle Branch comeback. Janet, too.

Justin Timberlake has never bombed with an album to need a come back, but I would love him to "come back" to music with a new album next year.
