That's a weird cover. Is that supposed to be the Georgia map? Looks like chinese letters. It's a little distracting.

Josh Kelly's album cover... yikes!
The placement of the hand, the poorly-done "map" effect, the font... everything about it just fails so badly.

I actually think it's a pretty good album cover. Kevin59 posted all the listening links to Josh's album over at CCT, but I'm thinking they may be another early leak from Mediabase. Maybe I'll start the listening party here soon, but for now, if anyone wants to check out Josh's songs, you can check 'em out HERE.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought it was called "Map of Georgia" when I first saw it. I hadn't scrolled down all the way to see the bottom. What a bad album cover!

^I'm surprised the album art does not have Brad Paisley behind a pulpit telling people what country music is.

^I'm surprised the album art does not have Brad Paisley behind a pulpit telling people what country music is. His albums covers are usually much more inventive, and they usually have something to do with the title. So what's that image have to do with "This Is Country Music"?

^The last studio CD by Brad Paisley, American Saturday Night shows him playing a guitar, so what is the connection there?

Gotta admit that one was a weaker link to the title but it did have a city and night sky painted behind him.

On May 17, Matraca Berg will release The Dreaming Fields, her first album in 14 years I loved the version of the title track that Trisha Yearwood recorded a few years ago for Heaven, Heartache and the Power Of Love. Matraca may not be my favourite singer, but she's a great writer.
