Source: Tony Thomas Twitter *Tony was tweeting back to fans from CRS in Nashville today, and he said Brad Paisley performed the song "Tennessee River" with Alabama. I don't know if they performed other songs together, or if it was just them doing TR (Alabama's #1 hit). According to The Boot, some of the members of Alabama (it said some, not all) contributed on a song called "Old Alabama", but I don't know if they performed that tonight or not. So we'll see if it is an Alabama re-make, or if it's a new song featuring Alabama. With BP's name attached to it, Alabama should get some major Whitburn points! Very interesting. Too bad it doesn't sound like the Carrie duet will be a single...at least not yet ;) Brad himself had this to tweet, in regards to his duet with Carrie. I'm really excited for Brad's album!

"Anywhere" will be the next single from Sara Evans' album as soon as "ALBS" is done climbing the charts.

I was SO disappointed with her new album....especially for how long it took her to put a new one together. 10 songs and 2 are remakes...1 of one of her previous singles?? ALBS is pretty much the only good song on that coaster. I can see some other songs possibly doing good at radio, just not for me.

"Anywhere" will be the next single from Sara Evans' album as soon as "ALBS" is done climbing the charts. For real? Because this is the right choice, but not the one I thought they'd make.

Just when it 'tanked' they chose to not have it on the CD for whatever reason.

Thompson Square are filming the video for "I Got You" today. So I'm guessing it's the next single for them .

There is this song playing on radio now that I hear all the time, but the DJs never say who it is or the title of the song, ever, I hate that, so annoying....anyway, its a new male artist I think cause I don't know the voice. Its very pop country. It basically talks about different types of girls and the line that keeps being repeated is "Before I ever knew you". I've looked that up with no luck. The tune has been stuck in my head all day and its driving me nuts not knowing who it is or the title. Can anyone recognize this from what i described?

Thank you! I'd of never found that! When you're driving and hear songs that DJs won't name its like playing a mind game! lol

"Anywhere" will be the next single from Sara Evans' album as soon as "ALBS" is done climbing the charts. Do you have a source for this? I've also heard reports that Sara told Siriux/XM's "The Highway" yesterday that "My Heart Can't Tell You No" will be the 2nd single. And then, like what josephmorgan says here, I've heard reports that "Anywhere" will be single #2. Either is fine by me, as they're both great. I didn't catch the interview yesterday that Sara did for "The Highway", but some people who did have said that Sara herself said MHCTYN would be the next single... So, it remains a mystery...

Deja vu in a way if she releases "My Heart Can't Tell You No" as the 2nd single. Just like when they released "I Could Not Ask For More" as the second single from the "Born to Fly" album... another 80s/90s pop remake.

On the mediabase adds board there's one add for The Lunabells, BNA's new female trio, should we assume that the song ("A Place To Shine") is going to be their debute single?

This was on their twitter several days ago, and we have the thread for it up at CCT, but I haven't gotten around to creating it yet here. I will post it now though. "yes "a place to shine" (otherwise known as fireworks) is our first single!"Source: Lunabelles Twitter

jhomes, I heard the news about "Anywhere" being Sara Evans' next single a couple of weeks ago on the Crook & Chase Countdown. I believe Lorianne announced this information.

Honestly, with Sara Evans, I don't think there's one bad choice for a single, among all the ones being talked about.
I'm really stoked about this era from Sara. We can easily get 3-4 top 10 hits. This could possibly be one of the most successful comebacks in country music? Maybe?

I believed you, I just wanted to see where the info was coming from. Whether it's "Anywhere" or "My Heart Can't Tell You No", I'd be just fine. Can't decide which one I like better. "Anywhere" probably won't be the critics' choice, but it could be a big summer hit, so it might be my choice simply for that reason. I wasn't familiar with Rod Stewart's version of MYCTYN, but Sara's version is great. Save that for a later single maybe, since it'd be 2 ballads in a row though. Most of the time that doesn't work, but with Sara and this strong material, I don't think there would be a problem. BUT, just to keep radio happy and "mix it up", I hope they go "Anywhere" and then "My Heart Can't Tell You No". I'd be fine with 3 ballads and 1 uptempo as singles from this album, since the ballads are the best. "What That Drink Cost Me" would be my next choice, but I'd be fine with "Alone" too, or if they wanted another uptempo (assuming "Anywhere" gets released at some point) "Ticket To Ride" would also be pretty good.

"Anywhere" will be the next single from Sara Evans' album as soon as "ALBS" is done climbing the charts. I hope so. Its so obviously a smash summer hit w/ radio... it would be a wasted opportunity to not release it. It was out for like 1 or 2 weeks when Sara Evans requested that they pull the single; she wasn't ready to put the album out then and go on tour, etc.

From Kellie Pickler's Twitter:
Ladies & Gentlemen we just found our first single!!! Country Radio here I come!!! #PickPickler :)
Doesn't say the name of the song, but I take it to mean that they've decided on the song. Sounds like we should hear it in the next few weeks.

From newmusicserver.com: Lady Gaga has released "Born This Way (Country Roads Version)" to country radio. I just heard it via my account there (which is not usable for streaming/listen links here, my apologies), and this is not a April Fool's joke. It's out there.

I love Lady Gaga, but that remix just doesn't work for me. Besides I really can't see country radio playing this for several reasons. For one, its Lady Gaga, and for two, the song includes the lines "No matter gay, straight, or bi/Lesbian trans-gendered life" .... yeah, that's prob. not gonna fly on country radio very well.

I am a music director in country radio, and those lyrics are probably enough to keep conservative audience members here from relating to the song. Not passing judgement whatsoever, but simply stating circumstances.
