General for 2012:
Adele Bon Iver Bruno Mars (Y) Mumford & Sons Katy Perry Foo Figters (Y) Lady GaGa Rihanna (Y) Kanye West The Band Perry J. Cole Nicki Minaj (Y) Skrillex
I would assume Kanye West will perform and J. Cole. Skrillex would be interesting/cool.
PRAYING for Adele.

I keep seeing that GaGa is performing yet I haven't actually seen it confirmed anywhere legitimate. Are they purposely keeping it down low as to not draw attention to her for the time being or is she not yet confirmed to be performing?

I feel like Adele won't be performing, I think she'll make her comeback performance until the Brit awards, which is a shame because the both events are just like a week apart from each other. Bummer.

Is Nicki confirmed performer?
Hope Madonna is at least a presenter.

Even w/Adele in the lineup, this list doesn't sound promising nor appealing at all...

Carrie Underwood hinted that she'll be AT LEAST attending on her official fan club. She responded to someone's question that talked about her attending/performing/presenting and she replied with a tone that hinted she'll be going at the very least.

Those are the only performers that I am interested in seeing. Thank goodness for the DVR.

Gaga would be nice, but between Adele, Rihanna, Coldplay, Kelly, Taylor, and Nicki, there won't be any lack in star power, and Katy doesn't exactly bring anything spectacular to her live performances.

I'd love Kanye to perform "All of the Lights" with all of the people featured on the track (Rihanna, Drake, Kid Cudi, Fergie, Elton John, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Ryan Leslie, etc.). Lady GaGa...perhaps the Cher duet? I reeeallllly wanted a Schiebe performance to kick it off as a single but it seems like that is out of the question. Surprised there's been no word of an Amy Winehouse tribute.

Ooh, the GaGa and Cher duet idea could be great!
And I would LOVE to see GaGa part of an Amy tribute!

All Of The Lights all-star performance would be great.
I still think Kanye (and Jay?) and GaGa will be announced for sure.

Even w/Adele in the lineup, this list doesn't sound promising nor appealing at all... I feel like this is one of the strongest lists of performers I've seen in a while. Rihanna and Coldplay singing Princess of China is going to be great, same applies for Adele (although I wish she'd sing Turning Tables rather than Set Fire To The Rain). Taylor is probably going to be a bit of a let down, since she's going to perform either Ours or Mean, both in a rather simple performance. Kelly Clarkson with that beautiful voice of hers is always something to look forward to. Bruno Mars, on the other hand, has a great list of songs to choose from, while Paul McCartney is a legend who deserves to perform anywhere he desires. I'm surprised Madonna is not listed as a performer, so I'm gonna bet on her.

Agree that Madonna may end up a performer.
Of the general nominees, Bon Iver has said a few times on twitter that he won't be performing.
I doubt Mumford & Sons performs unless they surprise us with a new track - their only nominated song was performed on last year's Grammys and their album has basically run it's course. They'll likely perform next year if 2012 brings a new album.
I could also see Katy not performing. If TD isn't getting a 7th single, she doesn't really have anything to promote, she did perform for the same album cycle last year.
That leaves us waiting for J Cole, Lady GaGa, Skrillex and Kanye West. Add in Madonna and a Mark Ronson-fronted Winehouse tribute and I'm good.
So far, I'm looking forward to seeing Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna/Coldplay and Nicki Minaj.

I meant big names that didn't appeal to me. Sorry for not clarifying that in my intial post.

I'm expecting an Amy tribute, as well as an Etta James one. The Grammys' twitter account just announced that Katy is performing. Hmmm... Maybe there will be a 7th single from TD. ???

I'm also expecting tributes for Etta and Amy - at both of these Adele would be arguably the most credible performer imo.

I would prefer Christina to continue her tribute to Etta albeit a different song. I want her to sing the shit out of "Something's Got A Hold On Me".
