So I've heard reports that Staind played a new song at Rock On The Range and it's actually heavy. Interesting. Was Aaron Lewis reporting?

Deep. They could at least have done something clever like Taproot's "Plead the Fifth."

remember when Aaron said that this album will be heavy? Mike Mushok backed up Aaron's words by saying that this album will sound like the first two albums, which is cool

You have to be in the mood to listen to Staind. I not usually in one of those moods.

Oddly appropriate name for a new Staind single.

I've never listened to MercyMe. Are they any good? Meh, there's better worship music (David Crowder Band springs to mind). Having a member come into Staind isn't either exciting or terrifying, though. Then again, I've kind of been uninterested in Staind for nearly a decade already.

FMQB says it's getting added on Alt then as well, although it's still under TBA. Now I don't know which source to believe.

The live video of "Not Again" sounded promising-ish.
This, however, just sounds straight up AWESOME!!! \m/

Really? That might be my favorite Paramore song. If anything, I would have complained about the Linkin Park track, but since hearing it more on the radio, it's becoming one of the tracks I like better on A Thousand Suns.

I liked Decode far better despite the inspiration for it. And if you'll notice, I said original material. Iridescent wouldn't count. Though, I like the original cut of it better.

I didn't know what you meant by original material. When I think of "original material", I think of songs that the artist wrote. I wasn't familiar enough with the full track-list and though that you might have been implying that there was a cover or two on the soundtrack and that at least one cover wasn't that good.

By original material, I meant that the band wrote it for the soundtrack, not plucked from the band's pre-existing catalogue or just a cover done for the movie.

Well now I know what you mean, silly. :)
Though Staind would be stupid to not include "The Bottom" on their forthcoming album.

The Bottom is awesome...more than Not again. However I think it will be on the new album
