Well now I know what you mean, silly. :) Though Staind would be stupid to not include "The Bottom" on their forthcoming album. Well, it's still a soundtrack song...for now. But yes, they'd better tack it onto their new CD. ;)

I'm pretty sure it's going on the album.

I have to say it too: Holy s**t. So the new album's called Staind? I guess so. I don't mind it if it is because this is very obviously a reaffirmation of their roots and identity.

I like how it says pen at the end, and it's pen who posted it.

Yay for living! Also, hot Goo Goo Dolls remake. ;)
Edit - I guess there's also a hot Default remake too (Throw It All Away).

I still think "The Bottom" should be the single. Screw "Not Again" (though it's good too) but "The Bottom" is epic, and it's already getting radio play.

Does anyone else keep seeing that song called "Failing" and wonder for a second why they put "Falling" on another album?

YES I did the same thing haha. Didn't they have another song called "Falling Down" too? "Falling Down" to "Falling" to "Failing"...next will be "Flailing" followed by "Flailing down".

That sounded cool. Nice to see them go back to their heavy roots, although I think this will limit their play on Alternative.

Well Alternative may be nice to them, seeing as they got a #1 last year on that format.

Still, it's STAIND. I'm sure they can pull off at least a Top 10, if not a Top 5.

You beat me to it. I was about to say I doubt this hits the top 10 if "Country Song" couldn't.

I knew you were going to bring the Seether thing up. I could argue that Staind is a bit of a bigger deal than Seether, and that "Country Song" had that twang and has the word 'country' in the title, which could've discouraged a few PDs.
But I guess we'll see when the time comes.
Peak Predictions: #1 (3 weeks) - Active #6 - Alternative

Your active rock prediction sounds right. I'll go with #14 on mediabase alternative, meaning it will likely JUST miss the top 10 on BDS/Billboard if my prediction were to hold true.

I'm actually worried that I guessed too high of a # considering where Korn and Papa Roach have recently peaked with their lead singles. I also wonder, given "Price To Play" was a similar type of song released at the height of their popularity on the format, and it didn't make the top 5, I have a hard time believing that this could make the top 10. I will say #14 still, but I'd be more surprised if it made the top 10 than if it missed the top 20.

Pen told me there was already a studio version released/leaked... I might've been wrong. I'm too tired to check right now.
