How I Roll isn't that hard to pick a single. It is a different sound for her and is catchy. Unique. Its a really good song imo.
How I Roll #ftw

Hoping she has a little girl next summer, and it gives her creative inspiration. Gorl, spill the tea. Someday you will understand in God's whole plan, tbh.

On another note, it's up to 49* at Hot AC., with 143 spins (+35 fro ma week ago). Audience of .402m. May fall short of top 40, though.

Ahem, it's time for Inside Out. Like it was in September before this obvious flop happened.

Ahem, it's time for Inside Out. Like it was in September before this obvious flop happened. IO would not perform better than Criminal did. And it wouldn't have given us the epic video that this song got. Granted, her videos have been top-notch this era, so IO would've probably still had a good enough video though.

i know its a bit unrelated but does anyone else wish Circus wouldve been rereleased in Nov 09 with 3 as its single? instead of the singles collection, i think it wouldve pushed Circus past 5 mil.
also im really hoping for either How I Roll or Inside Out for next single although im convinced there wont be another one.

Of course. They could have tacked on "3" and maybe the songs that were released overseas for "Circus" ("Amnesia", "Quicksand", etc). Why they went ahead and did a greatest hits compilation when she had only released 7 singles since her last compilation made no sense to me. Same goes for "Femme Fatale". Instead of the remix album, I would have loved a re-release with the TTWE remix, her cover of "Burning Up" that she did on tour, "Scary" which she released as a Japanese bonus track, and maybe another song that never made the final cut.

I know lol it makes even less sense than Hilary Duff putting out her first greatest hits after only 3 singles... and then releasing another after only 3 more singles.

This would have been a great idea. Re-release Circus with 3, I Wanna Go, Criminal, and Up N Down in Nov 09. Just imagine if the Circus era went 1. Womanizer 2. Circus 3. Unusual You 4. Kill The Lights 5. I Wanna Go 6. Criminal 7. 3 Dies in Heaven :'(

It's sad I heard all of Britney's singles from Femme Fatale EXCEPT this on the radio tonight, being in the car for an hour and a half.

Do you think there will be a fifth single, or is this era done?

This song is actually pretty big in my area. Not huge but gets spun frequently.
And I think it's probably over. But who knows? ???

I doubt there will be a 5th single. There are too many signs that point to no.
1. She has never had a 5th single before 2. The tour ends in December 3. Criminal underperformed 4. The album has only sold around 700,000 copies 5. A 5th single will probably not sell the album
I hope they do release a 5th single no matter what they choose since the next album probably won't come out until 2013. Britney is now a singles artist so they should release another single or two since there is a lot of single worthy songs on Femme Fatale.
Inside Out, Big Fat Bass, Up N Down, Trouble For Me, Drop Dead Beautiful, and How I Roll all have single potential.

She is not a singles artist. she would be selling like Katy and Rihanna if she was a singles artist. She is just at a point in her career where she will sell based on promotion and will not be a top seller. I remember back in the ITZ era where she promoted like crazy even though MATM underperformed and she still sold well over the holidays. She can't do that at this point in their career. I just hope in the future her team makes her do enough to consistently ship 1M each album and hit singles.

This is #1 on one of the biggest radio stations in my country so it's a hit where I live. Can't say the same for the rest of the world but who cares after 3 smash hits right? This is still in my top 10 favorite Brit songs ever.

Stations in my area (Northeast PA) played the track in regular rotation. This area usually does play her regularly, though. I remember when "Stronger" was out back in the day, and I always heard it- obviously not representative of its No. 56 national airplay peak

It seems to have peaked in most of the countries it has charted in, if they are planning to have a 5th single, it's best they release it ASAP.

This is one of the tracks I always skip on FF. 4th single or not I think something else from the album would have done better. I initally wanted Inside Out over this. I also thought Gasoline could have been a good choice. It's still upbeat but not so techno/dance sounding.
I'm still hoping for BFB but I jnow this song is so hit or miss with people that it might be to risky to release after an underperforming single.

Regardless of what you think about Big Fat Bass- it's mainstream, and would probably do well.

I'm sure BFB would decently, but I think Up N Down would do much better! However maybe that's just because I can't stand BFB.
