After reading the Pop thread for 'Mr. Know It All', it seems that there are some very strong opinions both ways on how it will sell during it's first. What do you think ? Please vote and state your answer publicly !

201-250k
EDIT: Ok, I kinda feel this was an overexcited, stan, pulse-decision vote. After thinking it over last night, I don't think it'll get that high unfortunately~ As of now I'm thinking about 180k. I'm going to remain optimistic though and not retract my original vote.

I think this is going to do less than 'What The Hell', and I believe that sold something like 166k in its first week. I went with 101-150k.

I see this selling similarly to WTH's first week, most likely. I picked 150-200k, but I'll gladly be pleasantly surprised.

I'm predicting somewhere in the high end of this range ~ 180s-190s.

150-200k...I'm specifically thinking it will hit close to the 170-175k 160-165 mark. (As I mentioned in the singles thread, I believe it will need to sell 185k to secure a top 10 debut, and I'm not quite sure I see it doing that. But a top 15 debut seems easily within reach.)
edit because I typed 7's when I meant to reach for the 6. Oops.

The #1 song this week sold 275,000 this week and the #2 218,000. If it's Wednesday night and this isn't even top five on iTunes yet I don't see it doing more than 101,000 to 150,000.

These polls should have time limitations on them so that they close for a deadline so people can't vote when the numbers are revealed.

Pulse got it right:
The Digital Songs chart's top debut is Kelly Clarkson's "Mr. Know It All," which arrives at No. 9 with 107,000.[/size]

Definitely disappointing, but we'll have to see what the promo/video does later this month. This was always going to be a slow riser, but there just isn't that much time before the album drops for that to happen. If things aren't looking better by the end of the month, they'll probably move on to a new single. And seeing as we just got the track listing, there are easily 5-6 songs that could swoop in and smash.

this is a very interesting discussion, so I am going to steal it and bring it to the album thread. Since there are only 8 weeks separating the release of 'Know' and the record, 'Know' will probably peak on Hot AC right around the record release date, but will still be rising (hopefully) on Pop. Even though 'Know' has HUGE bullets on both formats and even if 'Know' maintained an average of a +1000 bullet (her current bullet) on CHR/POP (her core format), in 6 weeks from now, 'Know' would only be at ~ 7800 spins, which is #9 today. In order words, RCA may use the Rihanna and Katy Perry tactic of releasing a second single while the first is still climbing for the sole purposing of sales encatchment. The alternative would be for RCA to push/promote 'Know' hard to get a 1500+ bullet which could bring 'Know' to a peak around the time of the record's release. Thoughts ?

201-250k. 210-220 to be more precise. So I was only off by 103,000. That's close, right?
