Yea went back on iTunes and listened. Still not my favorite and somewhat missing that raw and gritty feel, but it's a solid record. I could see it given three to 4 more singles before moving to something different. To comment on what jholmes said... I don't see any real reason as to why he would take a hiatus/break. Isn't that what he's been doing to an extent since Feel That Fire and Up On The Ridge? Hope Brett Eldredge can get his record out. I've heard a lot of the leaks to it and my favorite has to be One Way Ticket. Could easily seeing that being the next Holiday Road in those Griswold Films

Isn't that what he's been doing to an extent since Feel That Fire and Up On The Ridge? That's what I meant...he's had some time off, so I am expecting either 5 singles from "Home", or if he only went with 4, he'd probably have to send the lead single out in early 2013. I mean, he could certainly have another album ready by spring/summer 2013, but a lot of artists typically go 18-24 months between albums and so it seems to me that there would be time for a 5th single from "Home", unless he planned on taking another little break, but I didn't say I thought that was very likely. I'm thinking there will be 5 singles, and then maybe a small gap of a couple weeks between the 5th single and the lead single from the next project. But of course that's thinking way out there and things could always change. FYI the album for Brett Eldredge is called "One Way Ticket." It's great from start-to-finish. Have you heard anything about plans for a 3rd single, or plans to release the album? I've heard about 7 or 8 studio recordings and all of them sounded great, so it's definitely an album I'd like to get. I hope they get it out there soon..

If they release Signs, I'm not sure how that won't be a hit. One Way Ticket is really good too, but Signs is as can't miss as I can recall. I love the verse about the sheriff, kills me every time. I really, really hope the album sees the light of day.

It'll be an absolute shame if this album doesn't see the light of day!

Brett will have a new single coming out at the first year according to the cma interview. All on YouTube. Didn't say which one.

I can't see how "Signs" won't be the single. I just wrote in an article for year-end recap of new artists that I'd pick "Signs" or "One Way Ticket." That being said, I find "Signs" to be too good not to be the single. I've even said so to anyone at his label that would listen. ;)

“MY BEST ALBUM EVER”
January 2nd, 2012 – With 2012 freshly out-of-the-box, Curb Records offers an adrenaline rush to country music’s new year with the January 24 release of Tim McGraw’s latest album, Emotional Traffic—a studio project the iconic performer named ‘Artist of the Decade’ by Nielsen BDS proclaims as a ‘best ever’ creative effort in his more than three decades of hit music.
Creatively collaborating on the production with Bryon Gallimore his longtime producer whose fingerprints are consistently found throughout the remarkable McGraw dynasty of 32 #1 singles and 44 million units of music sold, Emotional Traffic leaves little doubt of the foundation material McGraw’s now legendary career has been built-in. It’s the artistic brick and mortar of great songs and a great talent. The new 12 track set fast lanes with McGraw’s latest #1 single, "Felt Good On My Lips", certified digital gold. His current single, "Better Than I Used To Be", is now climbing the charts and is also included here. Of the sessions that produced the new music, McGraw noted in an interview with the Cleveland Plain Dealer on August 9: “one of the best songs I’ve ever recorded and certainly one of the best records we’ve ever made.” A surprise guest artist collaboration from R&B pop wizard Ne-Yo on one of the tracks ("Only Human") brings producer Darran Smith into the mix and adds further creditability to McGraw’s visionary artistic reach. Additional stand-out tracks include the catchy and inspiring "Touchdown Jesus" (written by Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, and "I Will Not Fall Down" (penned by McGraw, Martina McBride and The Warren Brothers—Brett & Brad).
Curb Records is set immediately to further announce the availability of two digital single releases from the new package which will be exclusive to iTunes and available prior to Emotional Traffic reaching its official in store street date of Tuesday, January 24.
The track listing for Emotional Traffic is as follows:
1. Halo 2. Right Back Actha Babe 3. One Part, Two Part 4. I Will Not Fall Down 5. The One 6. Better Than I Used To Be 7. Touchdown Jesus 8. The One That Got Away 9. Felt Good On My Lips 10. Hey Now 11. Only Human 12. Die By My Own Hand
The release of Emotional Traffic is a fresh reminder of the unparalleled superstar presence Tim McGraw has carved in the music industry since the 1994 impact of his first #1 single "Don’t Take The Girl" skyrocketed him to national visibility and instant stardom. His most recent hit single, "Felt Good On My Lips" continues the now three decade history of #1’s on Billboard charts. With 7.8 spins logged at radio, McGraw was deemed the “Artist of The Decade (2000-2010) by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. He was won multiple Grammy® Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 CMA Awards, 10 American Music Awards, a trio of People’s Choice Awards and numerous other industry awards and accolades to varied to mention. His creativity has branched from music to acting—having starring roles in such films as the Oscar nominated blockbuster, The Blind Side (2009) and a breakthrough to major film in the 2004 release of the critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights.
In summer 2012, Tim McGraw will join Kenny Chesney on the “Brothers of the Sun Tour,” already anticipated to become one of the highest grossing tours of the year across all genres.

Anyone know what album the three new tracks tacked on at the end were recorded for?
"Straight To The Bone" sounds really good.

"Being Myself" is from her On Target EP. Not too sure about the others. I'll probably get this, even though I have most of the other songs already.

Ugh^ I know McGraw isn't releasing this record, but his best ever? I think not! Better Than I Used To Be and Touchdown Jesus seem to be the only real standouts to me ( i can tolerate tracks 1-3) everything else seems like the same old overproduced pop crap we have been getting the last 5-7 years from McGraw.
Hopefully with whatever record deal he gets, he can go back to the Tim McGraw sound we all know and love and what made him popular and make progress fom there.

Damn this is gonna be a good album! This is the traditional sound thats been needed for years from a female! Best I've heard since Leeann Womack! I hear some classic Dolly influence in there for sure! I just pray radio gives it a fair chance.

Wow, Kellie's album sounds absolutely great. I know there were some high expectentions, but I didn't think the final product would sound this good. Can't wait to hear the full thing.
