Zac Brown Bands new album is going to be streamed on Itunes starting tomorrow I love ZBB, but I really hope this doesn't become the new trend for future album releases (not just from them, but everyone else, too). We've just had Nickelback, Shinedown, Jason Mraz, Carrie Underwood, and Usher do the exact same thing before the official release. Oh, well. I'll still listen to it anyways.

A couple other country artists did this too. The big problem is you can't skip tracks. you must devote a good hour of time to listen.

The Target in Plattsburg New York had the new Zac Brown Band album on sale today, I bought a copy, they had 5 on the shelf. They must have accidentally put it out, so I made sure to buy it. The album is really good save for the final track and I didn't really care for "Overnight"

I love this duo and really enjoyed both of their first two records, so I cannot wait to get my hands on this one! The previews sound very solid, and my early favorites from that include Love Your Man (the tempo is reminiscent of Cheater, Cheater), He's a Cowboy, Let's Pretend We Never Met, and Teaching Me How to Love You. They definitely have carved themselves out a really nice organic neo-traditional sound, and while they don't mix it up a lot, they have found a way to keep it really refreshing to my ears and I can't get enough of their music. I just wish they'd get more of a chance at radio, because these two, to me, are the real deal and by far the most talented duo in the business right now. Its great that they can still deliver the goods though without relying on radio airplay, so I can at least enjoy their music.

No previews this week on Itunes, but a new single "Carolina Rose" has been released for downloads. First listen.. I like their uptempo stuff better.

Took a few listens to grow on me, but I really like Carolina Rose. I think they could do better for a 2nd single though than that.

I love the title and album cover for LBT's new album. Not sure how a name like Tornado fits with a budget motel, but the fact that they did the photo shoot at one just makes me laugh. I also love that the color of the font matches Kim's dress and that she's not wearing black when the rest of them are. Maybe this era with so much emphasis put on her, she'll be singing lead vocals on a radio single for a first? ;)
The song titles and writing credits all sound solid, and its interesting to notice that it looks like the LBT members took more outside cuts for a change of pace (since in the past they mostly wrote all their songs). Pontoon proved that its worth breaking the formula up.

Anyways, its just wishful thinking on my part, but it would be nice to have Kimberly get the chance to sing lead vocals on one of their singles. After five albums, she's well overdue.

That cover is too shiny for Little Big Town... And why are they dressed like they're going to a wedding or something? And where's the Tornado.... There's too many things I don't get on that cover...
The tracklist.... Well, kinda disapointed that they didn't write as much as they used to, but I'm sure it's for the good. Natalie Hemby wrote almost half of the album. Lori McKenna is on there too... If you gonna writte less but have Natalie and Lori songs on the album, that's ok with me.
And some of those songs, I have already heard them on some live perfomances, demos, or whatever, and they are great. Can't wait to hear their full studio versions. Specially the Sober one. We should listen to the other tracks first, but it could make a great single.

They always look really serious on their album covers, so that doesn't surprise me much, nor does it bother me, lol.
