Anyways, its just wishful thinking on my part, but it would be nice to have Kimberly get the chance to sing lead vocals on one of their singles. After five albums, she's well overdue. Omg yes!!! I've been wanting Kimberly to be a lead on on of LBTs singles for sooo long. I think she has a really good voice and would love to hear it on radio! Anywho, I agree completely indulge!

My friend was looking through their albums once and hated how Kim always was doing something different from the rest of them in photos lol, I love Kim but my friend is right a lot of the pictures we looked at she's doing something different The only album cover where she's doing something different would be in The Road to Here, and even then all she's doing is looking away from the camera while the other 3 are facing towards it. Their first album she's the only one not standing, on 'The Road To Here' she's the only one looking away, on 'A Place To Land' she's the only one on the right side of the picture. The only one she doesn't stand out on is 'The Reason Why', lol. I'm not saying it means anything negative but we found it funny.

From Taste of Country
Brad Paisley Promises ¡®No Pesticides¡¯ Unedited Sound on Next Album
By: Megan Pacella | 7 minutes ago For months now, Brad Paisley has been hard at work on his new album, the follow-up to 2011¡äs ¡®This Is Country Music.¡¯ After plenty of hours logged in the studio, the award-winning country star already has seven songs confirmed for the album ¡ª but this one will be different. Paisley is adamant that this record will hit the shelves with an organic, edit-free sound. Paisley likes to sing about wearing camo and spending time in the great outdoors, but he isn¡¯t the kind of guy who rests on his laurels. In a recent interview with CMT, he talked about his desire for bringing fans something they haven¡¯t heard from him before. ¡°I¡¯m always trying to think of things we haven¡¯t done. But luckily, it¡¯s always about music, too,¡± Paisley says. ¡°As long as you continue to have new songs, there¡¯s usually some new topic or something to present.¡± The tracks on the ¡®Water¡¯ hitmaker¡¯s forthcoming creation will not only explore new topics, they¡¯ll feature the country crooner¡¯s unedited voice, too. ¡°There are no pesticides. ¡ You look for the label. It just says 100 percent organic, and then you have it,¡± Paisley says. ¡°A lot of what you hear on the radio and a lot of what you hear in any form of music right now has both the aid and also the negative part of a computer being involved in a big way,¡± he continues. ¡°They¡¯ll have a great drum track, and then they¡¯ll make sure the bass hits right now, then the kick drum, and then they¡¯ll make sure that the vocals are tuned. They¡¯ll make sure that everything¡¯s perfect before it hits your radio station. I like that sound. We¡¯ve had a lot of that on records just like everybody else, where you make sure everything is right before it gets out. This time the mode has been: ¡®We¡¯re not editing.¡¯ If you hear something on a record, we played it.¡± In a world where practically everything molded to perfection, Paisley is excited about putting faith behind his and his band¡¯s musical talents. Even though he¡¯s taking an old-school approach to recording his next album, it sounds like the country star has enjoyed recording music organically, sharing that he and his production team are recording the album ¡°like they used to do it.¡± ¡°And the energy to me feels different,¡± he adds. So far, Paisley and his band have cut 10 tracks. Seven of them will appear on the album, and the other three aren¡¯t for country music fans¡¯ ears ¡ª yet. ¡°It¡¯s seven musicians. It¡¯s the band that you¡¯ll see tonight onstage with me. There are no additional musicians yet, which is really, really fun¡ You have this picture of what that might sound like, and it¡¯s different than you think,¡± he hints. ¡°That¡¯s what¡¯s interesting. To me, it¡¯s hard to describe it, but I think it¡¯s going to be really, really cool. I¡¯m at least happy with it.¡± Mum¡¯s the word on when Paisley will release the new disc, but we¡¯d imagine that it¡¯d be sooner rather than later, since it doesn¡¯t have to go through the editing process.

Thinking November release for a Paisley album. Right behind Aldean and Rucker.

Brad Paisley NEEDS pesticides for his next CD. His last, This Is Country Music sounded awfully buggy to me!

Got the easton advance in the mail today and I'm on my third listen. It's an outstanding album better than the debut i believe. Its solid with his nontraditional sound still. My favorites are 1. Only a girl.2. All over the road.3. Hearts drawn in the sand.4. That's gonna leave a memory

I know his voice has its weaknesses, but wouldn't you prefer a little less cleaned-up sound in general? I think his reasoning is right and his conclusion is right, and I hope this catches on. It probably won't.

The Easton album is seriously strong. It's just gonna be hard to make it work commercially amidst the sea of rockin and rollin' sounds that are the 'cats pajamas' of the moment.

Unfortunate, but true - and sadly, he's well aware that there's not a lot of room for him at country radio right now. And I'm also a nice shade of green at you, too!

I'll at least be interested to hear what it sounds like. The Court Yard Hounds project her fellow chicks put out was classified as a rock album, though I thoroughly enjoyed that as well.

I know his voice has its weaknesses, but wouldn't you prefer a little less cleaned-up sound in general? I think his reasoning is right and his conclusion is right, and I hope this catches on. It probably won't. Yes I would. I was being facetious for the most part. But after some of his live performances , I do kinda fear for him a little. I'm almost a little ashamed I even wrote that, but I don't have many artist left I genuinely enjoy a majority of their material. Selfishly, I want to keep Brad in that constantly shrinking list. It probably won't. I just hope he finds some material a little less corny to record. I know I'm in the minority , but I thought Brads last album was a return to form after a couple of less then stellar records. I still think there was gas in the tank, even after Camouflage.

I agree I think his last album was one of the best of 2011 and why in the world did he not release Working On A Tan that would have been a huge hit.

Because they released "Camouflage" and it was his lowest-peaking hit in a decade. WOAT certainly sounded like a hit-in-waiting, but when the 4th single stalled out so badly, releasing a 5th single--no matter how radio-friendly it is--may have further damaged his momentum and so a lot of times artists/labels just don't put another song out there. He lost a lot of momentum and that coulda gotten worse with a 5th single...and they certainly didn't want to risk having another single peaking as low or even lower.

Are there any good country music discussion/news/etc or just general music podcasts out there? I'm heading to the beach for the next 10 days and would love to put a couple on my ipod.

Thing is, if they had released WOAT instead of Camouflage, WOAT would have probably panned. Country radio is becoming a little formulaic and would not want to play a song like WOAT during the winter. They had to release a single to get them through to March or April when radio would be more inclined to play a "summer" song. Had they released a better song, maybe WOAT makes it to the radio, but as you said, Camouflage ruined any chances of that happening. Thing is, I don't know if there was a better choice. I'd have to listen to the album again to see if there was another I'd have picked, but just looking at the titles makes me think that there wasn't one.
