This went top 10 on alternative radio in America. It also went top 10 in the UK. They earned their first top 5 (10) album in their career with "Bleed Like Me". What went wrong with this project? ???
God, I miss them loads. I can't believe it takes them so long to release anything new. :(

Great song. Objectively it's probably not one of their best moments, but I adored it at the time. Such a sing-a-long anthem!

Love this song. This, and the follow up single (Run baby run?) were sublime. Not as successful here, though. Their biggest single was Cherry Lips which stuck around the top 10 for ages. Shame this didn't come close.

LOVE this song!! This is the song that made me become a Garbage stan. BLM is such an underrated album.

I can't believe it takes them so long to release anything new. :( They broke up. But they got back together and are supposed to have a new album out this year.

I loved this at the time, but it's not really that memorable compared to many of their other hit singles.

This was good, but "Sex is Not the Enemy" was the best from this era.

At the time, this era seemed a tad underwhelming to me. In hindsight, it was actually pretty stellar. I think the album holds up well and all of the singles released were fairly flawless. They just reached such a personal peak with V2 and BG for me, that I didn't think this came close to touching those eras.
I like this way more now than I did then, I always thought the instrumental shift was so awkward, but it works for me now. Not their best, or even the best single from this album, but it's solid. And it was nice to see them make a mini comeback. As much as I love "BLM," it just wasn't a good second single choice and the era never recovered.
