01. "Good Girl" 02. "Blown Away" 03. "Two Black Cadillacs" 04. "Cupid's Got a Shotgun" or "Do You Think About Me" 05. "One Way Ticket" 06. "Good in Goodbye" or "Wine After Whiskey" That would be perfect, imo. Stick with "Cupid" over the other one and drop "One Way Ticket" entirely and I'd be in full agreement.

I like the idea of BA and TBC being released back to back. I would think the most they would go is 5 deep this album seeing as they have never exceeded that in the past and last era we only got 4 singles. Another favorite of mine on the album is WAW. GIG got more attention at itunes during release week than WAW and I'm wondering if among her fans if people prefer GIG over WAW in terms of which should be released if either.
I think OWT is a good song and Carrie really gives it a lot of personality with her vocals but that type of song just isn't my thing. I guess it could be a big hit if released during the spring or summer. I like CGAS but they would have to edit some of the outro. Actually this is where I start vacillating. If they go 5 deep and they release TBC and WAW should they go with OWT, CGAS or maybe DYTAM? I feel like I don't have a good grasp on how any of those songs would be embraced. DYTAM has not been my favorite but I have warmed up to it over time. Does it sort of have The Band Perry kind of sound? Is that the appeal to releasing it? OWT maybe having the Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band feel and then CGAS maybe Brad Paisley-esque in it's employment of humor?

DYTAM is my favorite song on the album but even I admit Blown Away needs to be next. It's an impact single even if it doesn't go #1. It'll probably do the most for album sales.

I agree that Blown Away needs to be next. It could help sell a ton of albums.
One reason I like the idea of releasing DYTAM as a single is that it's different for Carrie. What was the last happy-go-lucky song Carrie released? All-American Girl? It's time for another happy mid-tempo. She has quite a few of those on her albums, but rarely releases them as singles. It might be nice to showcase that side of her for a change.

Carrie Underwood moves up one to #4. Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, and Kip Moore are ahead of her. She is only 350k behind Church. Can she make that up? Who knows.

I love all 3 though. As I've said before, I still think the singles should go: 1) Good Girl 2) Blown Away 3) Two Black Cadillacs 4) Cupid's Got a Shotgun 5) One Way Ticket 6) Good in Goodbye

I agree that "Blown Away" needs to be next, but I'm not at all against "Do You Think About Me" being released. It is different for Carrie, and it's happy. I think it'd to well. I was thinking the other day though that "Wine After Whiskey" has to be released. Lyrically, it's probably the strongest after "Good in Goodbye". It's definitely country, and again, it's a different side than what country radio has seen from Carrie, so again I think it would do well and resonate with a lot of listeners.

Not that it's the best song, but it's certainly the catchiest!

"Do You Think About Me" is tied with "Blown Away" as my favorite song on the album. I switch back and forth on which one I like more depending on which one I'm listening to.
The obvious second single is "Blown Away", but I'd love to see "Do You Think About Me" as the third.
I would put the singles as:
01. Good Girl 02. Blown Away 03. Do You Think About Me 04. Wine After Whiskey 05. Leave Love Alone (kind of surprised not many people like this one as much, its super catchy and fun)
But as long as "Blown Away" and DYTAB both get released as singles and the boring "Hometowns" as well as the annoying "Ticket" and forgettable "Who Are You" all stay away from radio, I will be fine with whatever they decide to release as the other one or two single(s). I do think some would be better singles than others (LLA, WAW, GIG, TBC), but other than the 3 songs I mentioned disliking, the rest are great. I don't think "Cupid" would be that great of a single because I think it would wear on people quickly, plus I can't even think of how cheesy that music video would be. In regards to "Cadillacs", I almost hope that's a single just so we get a music video for it. I wish the lyrics went into a little better detail describing the situation (like how they killed the guy), so a music video would help clear that up, but I can't see Carrie being one of the two women in the song, or being a omniscient third party narrator for the video. So I'm not sure how that would go either.

Since we're naming single choices, my ideal candidates would be
1. Good Girl 2. Blown Away 3. Do You Think About Me 4. Wine After Whiskey 5. One Way Ticket
However, I think it's more likely to go like this:
1. Good Girl 2. Blown Away 3. Cupid's Got A Shotgun or Do You Think About Me or Good In Goodbye or Nobody Ever Told You (yes, I just named 4, but I think it could be any of these 4) 4. Two Black Cadillacs 5. One Way Ticket
I think Wine After Whiskey will remain an album gem, unfortunately. I like Cupid a good bit (much better than Undo It) and it's grown on me, but I would prefer it stay an album track. I think Carrie should avoid releasing these type of songs for a while. However, I could see it possibly getting released. Good In Goodbye is enjoyable, but to me, it's not as good as DYTAM. I've already given my opinion of Nobody Ever Told You.
I see Two Black Cadillacs getting released, but I'm not convinced it will follow Blown Away. Two dark songs in a row would be a little too much, I think. Two Black Cadillacs would be my personal 6th single choice. I just like the other 5 songs better. Blown Away is an obvious choice, and I think One Way Ticket will be a single next summer.

There's definitely more than a handful of songs worthy of being singles after 'Good Girl'. My preference and order would be something like this:
1. 'Good Girl' 2. 'Blown Away' 3. 'Two Black Cadillacs' 4. 'Cupid's Got A Shotgun' 5. 'Good In Goodbye' 6. 'Leave Love Alone'
I don't know how likely it is that we'll get 6 singles... but those would be my picks. The only one I'm bummed about leaving out is 'WAW', as it's really great... but I think since it's an older song of hers that will hinder its chances of becoming a single. 'SYA' is great too, but doesn't scream country. 'OTW' and 'DYTAM' are nice, but I like the others more. The other four songs on the album shouldn't be considered, IMO.

1. "Good Girl" 2. "Blown Away" 3. "Two Black Cadillacs" "Good In Goodbye" and "See You Again" would be icing on the cake, though I think the latter might be too pop for country radio. They'll probably go the safe route with "Do You Think About Me" and "Leave Love Alone"...

I'm one of the few that aren't crazy about DYTAM and hopes it's not a single... it would be her most boring single to date, IMO...
my idea for singles would be:
1 - Good Girl 2 - Blown Away 3 - Good In Goodbye 4 - Two Black Cadillacs 5 - Wine After Whiskey (or Cupid's Got a Shotgun, depending on how they want to end this era)

As long as THANK GOD FOR HOMETOWNS doesn't get a single release, any song from BA would be fine for me .
RADIO AIRPLAY :
18. CARRIE UNDERWOOD - Good Girl: 60.587 (+ 0.314) ▲
It's the highest in country section!
BOW DOWN!

I have my single preferences, of course, but as long as "Nobody Ever Told You," "Thank God for Hometowns" and "Who Are You" don't get released, I'd be good with any other songs on the album as singles.

As per Cary at CF:
The push is on. GG (+87 spins, +0.744 million AIs, +290 points) remains at #3. Even though Zac Brown Band's NH (+15 spins, +0.207 million AIs, +16 points) is gaining again, GG should pass it tomorrow. And though Kip Moore's SBAT (-35 spins, -0.006 million AIs, -51 points) is still being stubborn, GG should pass it by Friday. And GG easily outgained Eric Church's Springsteen (spins unchanged, +0.048 million AIs, +7 points) and Luke Bryan's DOY (+47 spins, +0.379 million AIs, +157 points). Plus GG is now #1 on the Billboard real-time tracker.
Looks like this week might be the decider.
On to Blown Away. I think this song will be the one to give the album a consistant sales pattern.

'Blown Away' and 'One Way Ticket' have got to be singles. Otherwise, I don't care what they release.

...getting impatient for live performances of SYA, GIG, and WAW. >:( I really hope they're all on the setlist. I honestly don't know what I want released to radio, because I have so many favorites, and so many could be radio hits. Carrie could seriously pull out a string of 6 or 7 hits from this album if she wanted. Pardon the double-post. The 46th CMA Awards will be on November 1 on ABC. Figured it'd be an important for us to note since I'm sure Carrie and Brad will co-host the show again. Carrie's not touring from October 29-Nov. 2.

I played the album in the car for my Mom today, minus a few songs. She said "Good in Goodbye" was her favorite, and made me play it twice. She's not really into country that much (although she is starting to warm up to it), so that can be a good indicator of a smart single choice.

If SYA isn't a single, I will never pay for anything Carrie related again. It's the only song of hers I own that I purchased.

I too have a story about my mother and Carrie's new album. Today my mom came to pick me up from church and she was driving my car. I have Blown Away in my CD drive and I have the bass turned up as high as it can go. When walking to my car, from a significant number of feet away I can hear the booming of the bass and the end of "Blown Away". I opened the door and my mother turned down the volume to talk to me. After "Blown Away" was finished and "Two Black Cadillacs" started, she hit the back button twice to go back and play "Good Girl". She then proceeded to turn it up and say "I like to play it loud." So my mother who has never shown any interest in country music or any of Carrie's music likes to blare "Good Girl" and "Blown Away" as she drives. Just thought I'd share to show how this album is reaching some people who typically don't listen to her music
