Carrie was rocking her sexy bangs last night at the Preds game. So chances are we'll have the bangs for the album cover, since they did those shoots this week. I can't wait to see it. She looks fabulous.

Amazing on twitter how many people think Carrie is actually at Brad's concert. Has anyone seen the hologram in person? How real does it look?

My friend went to see Brad in concert and said that Carrie came out for that song, and I thought it was weird that she'd be in North Carolina just to do one song with him. Wow. LOVE Carrie with bangs.

Kelly Clarkson kicked off her world tour last evening in CT, USA and seems to have incorporated Carrie's 'I Know You Won't' as of the two covers for the tour (the other being by Florence and The Machine). This is such a big compliment to Carrie ! I know this is wishful thinking, but how amazing would it be if Kelly called Carrie onstage when they both happen to be in the same city and performed 'Won't' as a duet ? That would be a dream come true. lol imagine the two best singers in the world sing one of the best songs in the world in one stage together. :o :o :o :o

From Dustin2008 a twitter user...: twitter.com/#!/Dustin2008 I guess it's true! It's only a matter of time before they make an official announcement and releasing album news and single stuff at the same time seems like a good idea to me!

Let's just that Sugar f**king Ray is the opening act or something. It must be that way simply by default since Steven Tyler could never be an opening act and CMT Crossroads always pairs 2 artists/groups. I'm really hoping to see Carrie singing 'Love In An Elevator' and 'Cryin'. This just made my day !!

Not sure how I feel about a Steven Tyler-Carrie Underwood crossroads. We saw it coming but I was secretly hoping it wouldn't be the case.

Meh. We saw it coming, so I learned to accept it a while back. I would've loved to see her do a collaboration with Adele, but Steven & Carrie will put on a great show. I'm sure of it.
And Carrie and Steven doing the Halftime Show at the Superbowl? LOL, I'd love that, but I think Carrie has a ways to go before getting to do that, sorry to say.

I only hope they don't do Undo It / Walk This Way again to give space to new performances... and also, I hope Steven Tyler learns the lyrics to Carrie's songs, lol...

According to taylor_UK on Twitter: Aerosmith top fansite AeroFANatic posted on their Facebook: "Carrie Underwood, Steven Tyler and Sugar Ray will be taping an episode of CMT Crossroads in the very near future. Could this be a precursor to Underwood being the "duet" partner for the country-tune set to be on the Aerosmith album? Time will tell..."

I really hope Sugar Ray is NOT performing with them in any capacity. That will be such a WTF random moment. Do we know for sure they aren't just opening for them?

www.countrymusicislove.com/2012/01/carrie-underwood-says-new-album-may-surprise-some-fans.htmlCarrie Underwood Says New Album ‘May Surprise Some Fans’
Carrie Underwood‘s forthcoming studio album is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2012. The superstar, who told fans she had completed the recording process in late December, is slowly leaking out more details about the project. In the newest issue of Entertainment Weekly, Underwood reveals that the album may take some fans by surprise.
“Something that may surprise some fans is that there are a few darker songs on this album,” Underwood tells EW. “I have always been a fan of songs that have attidude, but the ones I’m talking aout have a darker story line. It seemed to be what the album wanted, so I decided to roll with it.”
While very few details of the songs on the album have been released so far, Underwood says she’s excited about a specific one, one that she knew she had to record the moment she heard it.
“The first time I heard one song in particular,” Carrie tells the magazine, “I swear I got chills and goosebumps all over my body. I immediately called my manager and said, ‘I have to have this!’ I don’t think I have ever been that excited about a demo before. And seeing it all come together to become so much more than that demo has been really special.”
Something that may influence the album is what Carrie took away from working in the studio with artists such as Tony Bennett and Brad Paisley.
“It is amazing to see how different artists work,” she says, “and impossible not to take something away from working with each of them. For instance, Tony only records in an open space with his musicians, which was a new environment for me.”
One thing that won’t be changing this time around is her producer. As she did with her previous three albums, Carrie is working with famed producer Mark Bright.
No album release date has been set just yet, but fans can expect it sometime this spring.

I remember someone in the old thread said to expect the single around MLK day. Ah well, guess we need a new analysis now

^That was my theory, for it to be released tomorrow. I hope that's the case, but I thought we would at least know the title of the song before she released it to radio.

^I thought it was pretty much a given based on my reading here, that the Title of the song was "Good Girl"?

If the Black Eyed Peas could do it, Carrie can. Uhm, not really. I hate the BEP, but they're definitely much bigger than Carrie and have more of a reason to be the Superbowl Halftime Show than Carrie. Again, I'd love to see her do it, but if she ever were to do it, I don't think it would happen for quite some time.

Sugar Ray??? That is random. I didn't even know they were still together. While they have a couple of decent songs ("Fly" and "Every Morning" come to mind), I don't see Carrie sounding all that good on them. That style doesn't suite her voice. And SR is just a has-been act.
If it's with Steven Tyler, though, and they do Aerosmith songs, I am excited. I would love to hear Carrie on "Dream On" for sure!! They will likely do "Walk This Way" again, and I would love to hear them do the bluesy "What It Takes." For Carrie songs, I guess "Undo It" is likely and maybe "Before He Cheats." I don't know what ballad of hers they would do as I don't see most fitting Steven.

I'd rather they avoid Undo It and Walk This Way. Been there, done that.
