The album cover is actually gorgeous, and I love it. The pose is a little awkward, along with the facial expression, but I still love the dark theme and everything. Carrie still looks great.
"Blown Away" is a decent title, I guess it'll have to grow on me. It's tons better than "Play On" though, which I felt was extremely cheesy.

I'm ready to offer sexual favors in exchange for information you have. #sorrynotsorryy I can't say anything else other than the song is SO Good and I can't wait to hear Carrie's voice on it. It's not anything like Good Girl. This song tells a story. Can you tell us if it's uptempo?

The album title is cute. I've never been too enthused by any of her album titles, but she always delivers with the music.
I am not worried.

^ It's not really uptempo and it's not a love ballad. A word to describe it for me is dramatic.

Not crazy about the title, but I love the cover, and I'm LOVING Carrie's confidence in this new album. Here's to hoping she'll deliver.

One of the authors of Blown Away wrote Scotty McCreery's song Trouble with Girls.

As iffy as I am about the title, I will like referring to this as the "Blown Away" era.

Don't like the cover, doesn't even look like her in the face.

it is, but both of them also wrote before he cheats, which imo, is one of the best written songs in carries career. so you win some, you lose some.
my favorite album cover is play on. theres something so seductive to it but not being overtly agressive. if only the actual album matched the beauty of the cover....

^ My fave album cover is PO as well. It's simple and gorgeous. Album title though, I think CR wins.
Blown Away cover art is gorgeous, but the face kinda ruined it for me. Else, it would have beaten PO in my fave list. I really love that Carrie stepped out of her comfort zone on this cover, but they really could have done better with her face. She's barely recognizable. :/ Oh well, I've seen much much worse covers, so it's fine I guess.
As for the album title, it will have to grow on me a lot. Maybe once I hear the actual song, it will.

When she started to reveal the Album cover, I knew it immediately. It definitely fits the theme of the song.

I like the general idea/look of the cover, but that doesn't look like her face...at all. It looks very photoshopped.
The title is ok, though can come across a bit boastful.

Her face looks so weird on the cover. Why did they do that? ???
I still think "Some Hearts" is her best cover. Absolutely stunning.

I just got home and the album cover and title are out today ! I'm with you about the face: as huge of a fan as I am of Carrie, I would not recognize that picture of her face to be her, but her body and legs look smokin', although it appears as of the top and lower part of her body don't match, lol. As far as the title, I'm not a fan, but if the music is good, who cares ? I'm so ready for darker-themed Carrie this era. I am truly on Cloud 9 right now.

I wonder if Good Girl is the old song they had in mind for the first single or the new one that Carrie said blew everyone away at the label....She did say months ago that the first single was between two songs. I wonder what the other one is... Yea the earlier song Carrie was talking about wasn't a co-write, "Good Girl" is defiantly the more recent one These earlier posts are all making sense now. “The first time I heard one song in particular,” Carrie tells the magazine, “I swear I got chills and goosebumps all over my body. I immediately called my manager and said, ‘I have to have this!’ I don’t think I have ever been that excited about a demo before. And seeing it all come together to become so much more than that demo has been really special.” I have a hunch that "Blown Away" (song) made the album, and I think that's what she's referring to in this quote.

I don't see the awkwardness everyone else is getting at... ??? She looks drop-dead gorgeous, though. This is such a fun way to reveal the cover! Glad Carrie's taking great usage of her Twitter. I agree with you totally. I don't see any awkwardness at all. It's artistic, glamorous and sensual.

I'm 'blown away' by some of the comments re: her face, her body etc. etc ???....amazing how different eyes see different things. I've seen that face before on a number of photo shoots, and the body looks perfectly aligned to me. As for the title, I think Carrie has been hinting at it for months. I remember her saying that when people heard some of the songs they were blown away...yes some may see it as boastful..but I see it as confidence...she obviously was blown away by the songs at her disposal, others she trusts were also blown away so seems like a perfectly appropriate title to me.
I finally have the title and cover of carrie's 4th. album and I for one am 'Blown Away'. :)

I have no trouble at all recognizing the face, but nonetheless, there are 3 identity markers there. If you don't know the face, there's a HUGE "Carrie Underwood" right next to it. If that doesn't help you out, the legs are a no-brainer. I love how this era has been so different from before-- from roll-out to reveals to a 'surprising' lead single to a dramatic, artistic, dark, fierce album art. As a person who always tries to analyze things (me!), everything about this era has left me puzzled-fascinated-excited all rolled into one. I love the feeling! And thank you, layne! Love this: Can't wait to hear "Blown Away," the song.
