Looked through a few pages and didn't see a thread for this already.
So, what are your most hated/least favorite songs? Bring on the silly answers as well as the serious ones

The first one that springs to mind is Daniel Bedingfield's "If You're Not The One". Most of the time when I don't like a song it's just 'there' to me, but that one presses all the buttons it takes to make me truly hate a song. Firstly, I just don't like anything about it. I don't like the style, the lyrics, the vocal performance, anything. Secondly, it's one of the most grindingly overplayed songs I've ever experienced. In 2002 when it came out, I got all my music from the radio and I listened to mine constantly. I heard that song multiple times a day for months and months on end. Thirdly, it reminds me of a bad time in my life. There probably are songs that I think are worse if I spend some time considering it, but when this subject comes up it's "If You're Not The One" I think of first.

I'm sure others won't approve of it, but it's probably this:
For no particular reason, I just despise this song. :/

LOL. That song's okay but it's really overplayed.

I have always adamantly hated "My Life Would Suck Without You", which is probably really out of character. It's so obnoxious and one of my least favorite songs Kelly has ever recorded. I cannot believe it is one of her signature songs. >:(
I also hate "Black and Yellow" with a burning passion. There is NOTHING redeeming about that waste of space.

Like A G6, Far East Movement
How that atrocity ever managed to hit on radio [or even get recorded, for that matter] is beyond me.

Sail/Awolnation (sounds like someone vomiting) Love You Like A Love Song/Selena Gomez (stupidest song I ever heard) Ice Ice Baby/Vanilla Ice (absolutely no talent involved with this one) Kiss/Prince (his voice is like fingernails scraping against a chalkboard) Like A G6/Far East Movement (sounds like background music to a video game) Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)/Shinedown (sounds like they're trying to scare me instead of sing a song)

I don't really 'hate' any song I suppose. I can tolerate anything generally, but there is one song that bothers me in particular to listen to. Not even because I hate it, but it serves as a reminder for a time I'd rather like to move on from:
'Shelter' - The xx

The first one that always comes into my mind is "Hey, Soul Sister." It just irritates me to no end.

Anything by Bruno Mars. His voice is so whiny and grating and it annoys the hell out of me. I probably would enjoy his music if someone else sang it.

"It Will Rain" is definitely is one of my least favorite songs in recent times. The opening line alone makes me want to change the station. ETA: Almost all of his songs make wanna do that now that I think about it.

James Blunt, You're Beautiful (came to my head instantly) Taylor Swift, Mean Kesha, Blah, Blah, Blah Avril Lavigne, Girlfriend Christina Aguilera, WooHoo Carrie Underwood, So Small
Sort of limited to recent Pulse diva dreck because it's all I can think of off the top of my head beyond the Blunt song, which could be my least favorite song of all time.

I have two random creepy songs that I actually HATE so much that they actually change my whole mood and make me feel ill for a few minutes if I hear them...
One is "Constant Craving" by kd lang. The other one is by Mike & the Mechanics, I never bothered learning the title, but it contains the lyric "when we die" in the chorus.
Yuck. Hate even thinking about either of these lol

I completely agree with "All I Wanna Do" "Hey Soul Sister" and "You're Beautiful.
"Watching You" and "Invisibly Shaken" by Rodney Atkins are instant station-changers for me.
Pretty much anything by Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, or Craig Morgan annoys me (with a few exceptions).
