^^ Thankfully, too! I've been hearing it left and right on local Top 40 stations and it sounds incredible over the radio. I really hope she breaks through in a massive way this year.

Just gave this album a few spins...I generally like it. Gets a little too mellow for me at the end and I find myself not focusing on it, but I LOVE Heaven, Maybe, My Kind of Love, and Next to Me.

Just listened to the Kendrick Lamar remix of Next To Me. Talk about breathing life into a song! I have renewed interest in this girl now and this is after her album burned out for me REALLY quickly. Where I Sleep and Breaking The Law are still the two best things she has ever put her voice to. I even put Where I Sleep on my former friends' wedding playlist. :(

3/16 BB200:
Emeli Sande’s Our Version Of Events drops from #64 to #84 in its 16th week on the chart.
A song from the album, “Next To Me,” is climbing the Hot 100.
The album logs its 10th week at #1 on The Official U.K. Chart. It’s the first album to log 10 weeks at #1 in the U.K. since Adele’s 21 had 23 weeks on top in 2011-2012. Our Version Of Events has been listed in the U.K. top 10 for 55 consecutive weeks.
Among all U.K. debut albums, that’s second only to the Beatles’ Please Please Me, which logged 62 weeks in the top 10 in 1963-1964.

I finally gave the album a couple of listens. It's so mellow but yet so beautiful.

This is such a wonderful album. I can't get enough of "Clown". That song is perfection.

From HITS:
Her label support is amazing. This is how you push an artist.

She's almost as big as Adele in the UK so the label support isn't surprising. I hope a re-release for the U.S. is coming soon

I'm glad her label is supporting her in the US. I haven't actually bought the US version of the album (due to the exclusion of "Read About It Pt. III) but I'm still holding out for a re-release.

She'll be performing on Dancing with the Stars next week. And her album shot back up to the top 100 this week, as "Next to Me" hit the top 40 on the Hot 100.
Ms. Sande is making a name for herself here. :)

She'll be performing on Dancing with the Stars next week. Indeed! On Tuesday, May 7, one couple will be eliminated on Dancing With The Stars: The Results Show (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The show will feature music by singer Jason DeRulo, who will perform his current single, "The Other Side," as well as Emeli Sandé, who will perform her hit, "Next to Me," and her new single, "Heaven." The show will also feature a spectacular opening number choreographed by Jason Gilkison and featuring the pro and troupe dancers. In addition, "Macy's Stars of Dance" returns for its final installment of the season, featuring Derek Hough and Jaimie Goodwin. Paying homage to a Fred Astaire classic -- but with a modern twist -- this mind-bending routine will take place in a rotating room in yet another first for Dancing With The Stars and live television.

Ooh, glad they made that choice. I hope they don't push it for a while, though, what with "Next To Me" still moving up (it is, right?) and "Beneath Your Beautiful" getting some airplay as well.

"Next to Me" is up to No. 25 on the Hot 100, and she's featured on Labrinth's "Beneath Your Beautiful," which enters at No. 88.
Any rumblings about the next U.S. single?

^Thanks. Hmmm, her debut (non-USA) solo single. I'd like to see "My Kind of Love" get pushed, eventually.

I love both "Heaven" and "My Kind of Love". I'd be happy with either being released...
