Now that Next To Me is done on the charts, how soon do you guys think we'll get that second single treatment? I also wonder if they're going to wait until Beneath Your Beautiful peaks?
As much as I love 'My Kind of Love', I think 'Heaven' will be a good choice for the summer. MKOL can be the third and final single before Emeli releases her next album next year (assuming she will release it simultaneously?)

I don't think anything else on this album stands a chance at being a significant hit in the US if "Next To Me" didn't really become that big. They should throw something to Hot AC and then wait until her next album.

a new physical deluxe edition was quietly released today here in the U.S. It's a Target/iTunes exclusive.
The bonus tracks are: 1. Beneath Your Beautiful (Labrinth feat. Emeli Sande) 2. Read All About It Pt. III 3. Next to Me (Kendrick Lamar Remix) 4. My Kind of Love (RedOne and Alex P Remix) 5. Here It Comes (feat. Rick Smith)
They are also available on iTunes separately as Our Version of Events: The Bonus EP
it's basically tracks we've all already heard and or own already. This is a pointless re-release, and they should have used Clown's B-side "Kill the Boy" instead of BYB.

The invitation-only, Grammy Awards week reception will take place on January 22, featuring an exclusive performance by Sandé with special guests and music by DJ Kiss. Related Articles "Emeli Sandé's soaring confidence as a songwriter and fearless self-expression as a singer is in the tradition of many iconic female trailblazers such as Nina Simone," notes Essence editor-in-chief Vanessa K. Bush in a statement announcing the upcoming celebration. Essence president Michelle Ebanks tells Billboard, "Emeli is a global, multi-faceted artist, extraordinary storyteller and a bold and beautiful collaborator whose future is extremely bright. She follows in the tradition of what Essence has always done: supporting artists who are doing incredible things." Sandé's top-selling U.K. debut album, Our Version of Events, has sold 238,000 in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The 2012 Capitol project peaked at No. 4 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top R&B Albums charts, spinning off the hits "Next to Me" and "My Kind of Love." Along the way, the singer/songwriter has collaborated with a diverse lineup of acts, including Nas, Alicia Keys, Naughty Boy, Labrinth, Rihanna, Fantasia and Robert Glasper Experiment. Calling the Essence event "a big honor," Sandé is at work on her sophomore album, slated for 2014. "It's just a baby at the moment. I'm not sure what it is yet," says Sandé of the project. "But it will be very spiritual. I want it to hit people's souls, to speak to them no matter where they are in the world." Launched in 2010 as part of Essence magazine's 40th anniversary commemoration, Black Women in Music heralds the achievements of both emerging and established artists and influencers. Sandé joins a list of previous celebrants that includes Mary J. Blige, Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, music industry executive Sylvia Rhone and singer/songwriters Solange and Lianne La Havas.

Her last album was a bore, I’ll try this one (assuming I remember) although none of the released songs have stuck

Her new album Let's Say For Instance is great. Too bad Emeli is very underrated.
