Anything involving turning on the radio or "your favorite song", especially today's state of music. Examples:
"You find a song and turn it up to 11" "Let the DJ play your favorite tune" "So I turn on the radio" "When you hear this song on the radio"
and countless others.

How could you not like J Lo - Play or The Corrs - Radio? :'( I was actually referring to the little tidbits in the song, even if it's just a line of it, where anything involving "your favorite song" or turning on/up the radio grates me just a bit. Makes me think less of that song anyways. There are some exceptions, which I can't name off the top of my head atm, but I rest my case.

I try to avoid Nicki Minaj like the plague, but one of her songs came on the radio the other day and she said something about not being able to pay her rent or something and I threw up. And then was reminded why I avoid Nicki Minaj like the plague.

I love One Direction, but these lines are kind of annoying:
"I just want to show you off to all of my friends, making them droll on their chinny chin chins" - Kiss You "Cause I can't compete with your boyfriend, he's got 27 tattoos" - I Would

Timbaland - Give it up to Me: "I'm respected from California way down to Japan" I know it's nitpicky but Japan is not down from California. It's not way down from anywhere really lol.

Bow Chicka Wow Wow - Mike Posner. The whole song just irritated me.

Demi Lovato - Heart Attack Yeah, you make me wanna act like a girl, paint my nails and wear high heels I don't know why, I just really hate this line.
The entire intro of "People Like Us."

No. The wear perfume one in the second verse works. High heels just doesn't. Shaving my legs is just damn gross, I'm glad they changed it.

Faith Hill's The Way You Love Me is the first to come to mind.
"If I could grant you one wish, I wish you could see the way you kiss"
Like WTF?!

That one standards song with the lyric "Your kisses are so blase". Who would say that? What person talks like that outside of Broadway theatre?

Kelly Clarkson - "Tie It Up" "I love the ring of your name/you're the ying to my yang"
I'm pretty sure she means "yin and yang," not "ying yang" because the former represents the duality of two opposing forces coming together in a natural, fluid balance to create peace while the latter is slang for a crazy person.

Any song that demands one to wave their hands in the air and wave them like one just doesn't care, or any variation of that demand, announcement, request,.

"I just want to fall into your crazy laughter" - Krewella
Um.... what? Dumb
"I looked away, then I looked back at you." - Avril Lavigne
Did you now know how to start the song? Clearly a filler line.
"Sometimes we swim around, like two dolphins in the ocean of our hearts." - LFO
What bugs me is that the whole song has fairly good lyrics, but this part is lazy.
"And this girl in my lap, passing out, she's a blonde." - Jason Derulo
First off, Jason, I don't believe you're into girls. And even if you are, you're gonna rape her?

I hate any stupid clichΓ© rhymes from soulless songs about partying.
Ex: "We're living our life on the dance floor! DJ go and give us some more! Our hands get higher and higher, we're burning our like the fire! Popping shots of patron, ladies know it's going on!" (That lyric was entirely fictional, but you see what I mean).

Justin Timberlake on "Cabaret:" "'Cause I got you saying Jesus so much, it's like we're laying in a manger"
Quadron on "LFT:" "I notice red lipstick on my teeth in the restroom while we all pee"

Jason Derulo - Marry Me
"105 is the number that comes to mind when I think of all the years I want to be with you"
So, in year 106, he'll break up with her?

"Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer" from "Red" has always kinda gotten under my skin, but my love for the song itself kinda overshadows it. The first time I heard that line though I did kinda cringe.

"I feel like I got no panties on" from "#GetItRight" sounds so strange. Either you have them on or you don't.

Normally these lyrics from "Bailando" would bother me, but they're so unintentionally hilarious that they actually don't...
"I wanna be contigo And live contigo, and dance contigo Para have contigo una noche loca Y besar tu boca I wanna be contigo And live contigo, and dance contigo Para have contigo una noche loca Y besar tu boca"
"Para have contigo" kills me EVERY TIME.
Also, most of "Trumpets" by Jason Derulo, but particularly...
"Is it weird that your bra reminds me of a Katy Perry song?"
How? Does it shoot whipped cream or fireworks? Not to mention that Katy's music isn't exactly timeless or distinct enough to remind anyone of anything, but it is Jason Derulo we're talking about.

Anything that refers to the act of vaginal sex as "beating it up". Speaking of that, from Play by David Banner: "I beat it like Mike when he f**ked Billie Jean". Yeah, wasn't Billie Jean about how Michael Jackson didn't have sex with her?
