"Eden" popped up on my iPod today and I forgot how amazing the song is! The lyrics, the melodies, that different song structure arrangements!
In collaboration news, Sara will be appearing on Zac Brown Band's new album on a track called "Mango Tree" out April 28th.
She also appears in Rita Wilson's new music video "Girls Night In":

See the cover for Sara Bareilles's new book, 'Sounds Like Me: My Life (So Far) in Song' -- EXCLUSIVEby Isabella Biedenharn Posted June 3 2015 — 9:00 AM EDT Sara Bareilles is taking her own advice: The “Brave” singer is writing a book of essays called Sounds Like Me: My Life (So Far) In Song, and EW has the exclusive cover reveal below. Sounds Like Me will cover the five-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter’s journey through her career and all the highs and lows that entails. She’ll tell the stories behind her most popular songs, and writes about finding the balance between making art for herself, and commercially successful music. Ben Folds writes the book’s introduction, saying, “For me, this book, like her songs, is having a conversation with the lady herself.” “It feels infinitely more vulnerable to speak about my life without the metaphor and mask of music or my singing voice,” Bareilles says in a release. “I tried to be candid. I tried to remember things in an unbiased way. I tried to be at least a little funny…. Sounds Like Me is a collection of stories about my own self-discovery. Each essay is anchored by a song that helped me build a deeped understanding of who I am as an artist and person.” Sounds Like Me hits shelves Oct. 6. Check out the cover below:

Wow. I wonder if it's because of sales, shipment, or the added streaming numbers. Nonetheless, I'm glad she has another certification to her career!

Go Sara! I loved this album, I've been giving my favorite tracks Satellite Call and I Choose You lots of listens lately.
Hopefully I can go see Waitress soon, it's just expensive. Has anyone here listened to the music?

Hopefully I can go see Waitress soon, it's just expensive. Has anyone here listened to the music? A friend and I are planning to see Waitress in July! I've listened to both the Broadway cast recording and Sara's versions, and the music is fantastic. Both her and Jessie Mueller's renditions of "She Used to Be Mine" are stunning. Def gonna be a huge moment in the show.

Good on Sara for the gold certification! Go Sara! I loved this album, I've been giving my favorite tracks Satellite Call and I Choose You lots of listens lately. Hopefully I can go see Waitress soon, it's just expensive. Has anyone here listened to the music? I actually went to see Waitress about two weeks ago and you can read my review/recap here. It was fantastic and Sara (and company) should be extremely proud of this accomplishment. Tickets are definitely expensive and I read somewhere that it's currently the sixth-most expensive show on Broadway. Having listened to the Waitress OBCR twice so far, I think I prefer Sara's versions. Jessie's voice is phenomenal, but I just prefer Sara's voice singing the songs.
