Frankly we are going off topic but seeing a muslim person where you live is still viewing from the outside. You do not know the daily lives of these people you don't know how they interact all you know is from your western beliefs that you think they are wrong. Islam is not a man telling a woman to wear a burqa its not a man telling a woman how to act and how to dress its men and women following what they believe god wants just like a catholic, for you to point at muslims it shows me your problem isn't with religion its just that their way of life is different than yours and that is frankly shallow and misguided of you. I suggest you read more about Islam instead of people watching and judging.

^ true her music and religion seem to intertwine so what is off topic elsewhere might not be here
Chalis and people have to realize that on one hand they can't say religion judges gays and gay way of life and on the other hand judge other people for their way of life, its not how humanity builds bonds and understanding you don't defend by tearing others down and above all you just can't paint a whole group of people with your very narrow and limited brush and this goes for Gaga too. You can have serious discussions and debate on any group of people because every group has its flaws but that discussion ends when you judge or act if your way of life is somehow superior. I'm not sensitive about many things in life but acting superior or stereotyping will never get a no response from me here, there or anywhere else unless it was meant as joke or for fun rather than arrogance.

am i the only one that thinks "applause" sounds like katy perry's "peacock" but less annoying?? ...because she uses a repetitious, rhythmic hook in the chorus?

All the tweets, from Gaga, DJWS, Tara, they all seem staged, honestly.

^My thoughts exactly. Plus, the tweet to Katy. Plus, not sure why a legit hacker with bad intentions would only leak a 12 second snippet?

There are such a wide range of topics discussed in a Gaga thread.
That has to mean something, somewhere. Lol.

I am actually very relieved by the clips of "applause". I expected worst to be honest!!
Especially now that we know "pop culture" clip was in the song. (See gaga new tweet)
I feel much better about this era than last era.
That said, the chorus on "burq" is great. If she dropped the religion and made it "aura" but not the Muslim meaning. (Sorry for spelling)... I'd be happy

GaGa and Xtina are nothing alike. Unlike Xtina, GaGa can claim that her music was ahead of its time because it really is. She pushes the boundaries and makes great music while Xtina makes conventional music which is why her statement regarding her flops sounded delusional. Lady Gaga pushes no boundaries. Christina Aguilera's "Bionic" was very ahead of it's time, looking back on it. The musical stylings of "Bobblehead" are everywhere now. The organic tracks are very Adele "21." And she worked with Sia before anyone in pop music knew who Sia was. Oh and "Vanity" for the gays...before creating songs for the gays was a "thing."

Really glad that she's directly tweeting about fan wars, etc. Hope the Crazy Monsters actually listen.
I can't help but think that this kind of thing is similar to what drove the original Lilith Fair tour, which was all about abolishing the notion that all female music acts hate each other and can't be booked together.
Dream come true: a full-blown pop diva touring festival. And in true Lilith Fair fashion, they all come together for a few songs at the end of the night. Put Gaga, Katy, Britney and Madonna on a stage together and watch as all wars end, diseases are cured, the ice caps stop melting and world hunger is abolished. Genius!

Wow imagine how well a Gaga, Britney, Katy and Madonna tour would do$$$$. Even though musically only interested in 2/4 passively it would be a tour du force.

Well, for starters, Adele's 21 had more to do with growing from the organic sound of her first album than anything else. Besides, a handful of stripped ballads has been a part of big pop females' albums since...always. And as for her being the first person to cater to gay audiences...I don't have the time for that kind if ignorance. I know very little of Sia so you might be right there. Though wasn't she relegated to bonus tracks? It's not like Christina's songs brought her any great chart success.

Lol at 'Bobblehead' being a trendsetter. That's like saying 'Mmm Papi' is the only reason Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull could get a hit.

All of Sia's tracks made the standard edition being in sequence of each other ( All I Need, I Am and You Lost Me). Stronger Than Ever was the 4th track and that was on the Deluxe Edition. You Lost Me is still the best song she has written for another artist.

That still doesn't mean it inspired 21.
Now THIS is off topic.

No I know that, I was just clarifying should what's his face come bounding in (in typical Xtina Stan fashion) and try to ride your point out like it somehow strengthens his own. Wasn't checking you, just clarifying.

She was at the Abbey tonight in West Hollywood. My friend just posted a photo of her wearing a bra and some panty looking things and she's a brunette. I was supposed to go tonight but I'm hungover.
