Just listened to her interviews with Carson and Seacrest and thought she came off very well. She sounds very energized, happy and, best of all, clear-headed. Would be nice if Carson or Seacrest could let the nudity thing rest for a minute, but whatever. Link to GagaDaily to listen to both interviews.

She did! Check out her new single Applause! I am clearly referring to Applause. I mean: "One second I'm a kunst Then suddenly the kunst is me Pop culture was in art Now, art's in pop culture in me" What kind of tryhard mess? Other than that the songs is prtty good, but she needs to tone down the lyrics. If you can't write lyrics that sound both educated AND effortless (like Florence Welch i.e.), then just go for effortless. I'll take those lyrics any day over that tired crap Katy Perry just released that sounds like it was written by a 6th grade BIble study group who just got back from summer camp with the tag line "HE BELIEVES IN YOU, YOU SHOULD TOO!"

Funny you say that, cause this sounds exactly how something that same 6th grader would write if he was trying to prove he was culturous (and failing in said attempt).

OK, now I don't want to defend what was admittedly a lame retort... but I just can't sit by while someone criticizes Gaga's writing and then tosses around the word "culturous." Oy.

She's Gaga, If I want Florence Welch-esque lyrics I'll go ahead and put her material on. This is who Gaga is, I don't understand why people want to change her. There's a billion other artists out there. This, to be honest Topic title renamed. Made it all caps because, let's face it, we need caps for our heads since she stole ALL of the wigs.

I am not native and the world exists in my country, autocorrect can be a bitch.

In my country, verse 2 of Applause is being included in our national anthem for being a perfect work of art. We both win!

I quite enjoyed this on first listen. It harkens back to The Fame/TFM days, which some have been wishing for, without being a complete retread (it also sounds like she multiplied the tempo by 4).
I hope it isn't a fast burn for me though.

Artpop feels kind of blank and doesn't look good in the eye to be honest. ARTPOP definitely seems fuller and more appropriate.

Finally heard the song and I like it on first listen. She's never really disappointed, music wise. I'll just listen to the album while ignoring everything else that she does and says this era.

This pic isn't bad, but the rest of them are terrible (that last photo is going to give me nightmares! ). She is just so unattractive these days, which is a shame because I thought she was actually really pretty back in '08/09 and even at some points in '11.

That glitter in some of her photos reminds me of Ke$ha's Animal era.
