Time to let you know my 36 favorite (it's) Britney (bitch) singles! Why my top 36? Well, that just happens to be how many singles she has! I used Wikipedia to list her singles. I'm including all (official) singles, including international singles, and singles that did not chart. No promo singles, though. I'm currently brushing up on her singles, on "Boys," number 15 of 36. listen through should get me my obvious least favorites and allow me to start. I think I already know my #1 though. I should be able to post #36 (maybe more than one at a time to start) in a few days. Don't die of anticipation, meanwhile.

#36: "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart"Let me start of by saying there isn't a Britney single that I truly dislike. Some are just ok songs to me, but none make me cringe or anything. The bottom songs are pretty hard to put in order, though. So it's definitely not a set thing. Anyways, I'm not a huge slow song/ballad person. So expect most of these bottom songs to be in those categories. And this song definitely is! I dunno what to say about it other than it's kinda boring. Lol. #35 to come tomorrow! :)

#35: "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know"A dreaded 4th single from Britney. I think we all know how those chart. Not well. Anyways, another slow ballady song. Not my thing, and not much to say about it. When we get to the singles I like more (probably around #30 or so), I will have more input to add. :)

#34: "Someday (I Will Understand)"The single from the CD Britney & Kevin: Chaotic. I didn't know this single or CD existed until I started this singles project. Oops. Anyways, it was released in Europe only. It did ok in a few countries. So, needless to say this doesn't hold a special place in my heart, since I first heard it a few days ago LOL. And it's yet another slow/ballad song. Meh. The upcoming songs are more enjoyable for me so it should get more exciting. :)

#33: "Unusual You"No music video. :'( Released as the fifth and final single (from Circus) in Australia and New Zealand only. It didn't chart in either country. Anywho, another ok song. This seems to be the turning point, though. Songs from here on I enjoy more and more. I didn't listen to Circus, aside from the singles, until just recently. Since this was never a single for me, I had never heard it. Can't say I'm too disappointed it wasn't a US single.

#32: "Sometimes"Britney's second single, ever. One of her better slow songs. I remember being a little kid and jamming to ..Baby One More Time. It was such a good CD, and I was the biggest Britney fan ever, at the time. Still like this song, but it's definitely nothing compared to most of her uptempo songs.

#31: "Criminal"
Another fourth single. It pretty much flopped. But with 0 promotion, a music video that's 18 and older, and a mid-tempo, non-dance song, it's kinda to be expected.
Definitely my least favorite of the Femme Fatale singles. The flute part kinda annoys me. I would have preferred a different sounding flute. Flute always remind me of this girl in band who played flute and was PERFECT at EVERYTHING. It was so annoying. :'( Bad memories here, people, and this song managed to bring them all out.

#30: "Anticipating"There's a live music video, but I can't find it. France's fifth Britney single. Didn't perform too well; no shocker there. Another decent song. Not one of the songs I remembered from having Britney several years ago.

#29: "And Then We Kiss"The single is technically the Junkie XL remix, but was not titled as such. Apparently the original leaked last September? Hmm... I should look for that. This was the first, last, and only single from B in the Mix: The Remixes. It was only released in Australia and New Zealand. It didn't chart anywhere major, except for #15 on the US Hot Dance Airplay. No music video for this one, either. :'( This song isn't too slow, but it manages to feel slow. Never was into remix stuff until recently, so had never heard this before. It's another decent song, though.

#28: "Born to Make You Happy"A music video! Finally!! The fourth single from ..Baby One More Time.. I don't think it was released in the US; rather the fifth single ("From the Bottom of My Broken Heart") was the US's fourth. It actually performed pretty well, reaching #1 in Ireland and UK, and top 10 in several other countries. :) Another slower song. Another decent song. Same old same old.

#27: "I Love Rock 'n' Roll"
Another music video! Shitty quality, though, and it doesn't sync audio and video. :'(
A cover of the cover by Joan Jett, which apparently was a cover of the original by Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker of Arrows. :O Never knew that haha.
I was never a big fan of Joan's version, and the same goes for Britney. I think I prefer the original. Britney's voice just doesn't seem right on this. It's not strong enough, I guess.

"Born to Make You Happy" is one of my favorite Spears songs ever! Love it!
I agree with "I Love Rock (&/and/n/'n/n'/'n') Roll." I love Joan Jett's version, but Britney's voice just doesn't match at all.

It's one of her best slow singles, but I just don't like her slow singles nearly as much as her uptempo singles. :)

#26: "Do Somethin'"The second single from her first Greatest Hits album, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. It managed a peak of 100 in the US! Smashney 24/7! :'( I like the production of this, but something feels off at the same time. Haha. I like the part "Whatcha gonna do when the crowd goes 'Ey-oh?'" Hmm I only have 3 songs left in order after this... I should get working on the rest LOL.

#25: "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman"The third single from Britney. Typical, it did decently in several countries, but flopped miserably in the US. 102 on the Hot 100, but actually 21 on BB pop, so that's decent at least. I dunno what it is about this song. I just relate to it so much. I'm not a girl, and I'm not a woman, either. Yet. ;) Definitely one of my favorite slow singles from her. I think she's a full on woman now. ;)

#24: "Hold It Against Me"
The first single from Femme Fatale. It debuted at #1, Britney's 4th #1 and 2nd song to debut at #1. After debuting at #1, though, it didn't do as well as many would have hoped. It rose and fell quite quickly.
I was not a fan of this song when it first came out, but grew to enjoy it. Still, it doesn't hold up to many of Britney's other singles, though.

Soooooooooooooooo. I was ordering the rest of the songs (I had the next one in order, but none after that besides the top 5). Word froze. Wouldn't close, wouldn't close. Finally closed it. Now word won't open or uninstall. Including after restart. So now I have to do it manually and stuff. So I might take a while to post more songs. I don't remember what the next song was, either lol

Well I have them in my iTunes, but not in order... I put her singles in a playlist by order chronologically as I was copying from wikipedia. Then opened word and numbered them as I was listening. Anyways it got uninstalled finally and is installing now. I think it's done?

#23: "Everytime"The third single from In the Zone. Performed very well outside the US, and pretty well in the US. I think this is my favorite slow Britney song. So I have no more songs in order now, but I'm working hard to hopefully continue this tomorrow!

"Everytime" is my favorite Britney song and video of all time. I'm sad to see it so low, but since I know you really don't like slow songs in general, I'm glad it's the highest ranked slow song. :)

I just enjoy dancing my butt off while I'm sitting listening to music. I'm wondering about the #1. It's probably gonna be an up-tempo song.

#22: "Me Against the Music"The lead single from In the Zone. Britney's song featuring Madonna. The single performed pretty well outside of the US, reaching #1 in Australia and Ireland, and top 10 in several other countries. It only reached 35 on the Hot 100, and 11 on pop, so it did decently in the US. Everyone seems to hate this song. I personally think it's pretty good. There goes my standard love songs that people hate taste again. :'( Coming up next: a song that was released more than once. Side note: I used the same number twice. Now that my list is finally completely in order, although some movement might still occur, I noticed my mistake. Oops.

Everyone seems to hate this song. I don't! :) Coming up next: a song that was released more than once. At first I thought you meant multiple versions were released, so I assumed it was "Overprotected." Once I thought about it more, I realized that you more than likely mean "Radar."

#21: "Radar"
The 4th single from Circus. Infamous for being on Blackout and planned to be a single, but scrapped for Break the Ice. It was then a bonus track on Circus and finally released as a single.
The epitome of many a joke, but that doesn't stop me from liking the song! :)
It pretty much flopped everywhere. :'(

#20: "Outrageous"The fourth and final single from In the Zone. Obviously it didn't perform very well. Apparently it's the theme song for "Catwoman" ?!?!?! I love that movie!! I have a weird love for movies that 99% of people hate. :'( This song is very catchy, and has pretty good production. Everyone needs to love it.

#19: "Break the Ice"The 3rd and final single from Blackout. Hmm. This song invented "Glad You Came" :kii: Much better than that crap, though. Don't The Wanted hate Britney anyways? Ugh they need to learn their place. This song is pretty good, though. It didn't perform too well (scraped the top 10 in a few countries), but it should have. That one rhythm in the background is very catchy, and gets in my head for a while after listening to the song. It's weird lol. Up next: a cover of a song.

#18: "My Prerogative"The first of two Greatest Hits: My Prerogative singles. It flopped in the US (3101) and did well elsewhere. Even hit #1 in Ireland! :) I never really heard the original before. Listening to it now it's decent, but I prefer Britney's cover. A pretty good song, so probably should have done better in the US, especially being a lead single. Oh well. Up next: A song I keep confusing with Part of Me.
