Thank you for the comments Josh, Nick, Rocky, and Slizzard! Glad to see a better than expected response for the song! It's okay that you hate forget about me Slizzard! Glad you liked some of the songs you caught up on! Also there are no more Lady Gaga songs, so I'll assume for #6 you meant Rihanna! #6Some Nights - fun. - Some Nights Honestly take everything I said about the previous song and copy/paste it here. Except this is an alternative-leaning pop song instead of a pure-pop song. Still it does everything it could possibly do right right! I love how it starts off with some thunderous vocals all on their lonesome and then goes on this crazy instrumental journey. I love how the song just continually keeps switching it up from start to finish. I love everything from the chanting to the autotune abuse to the outro. It's all just so amazing and awesome. It was definitely fresh and original for me. A song I'm happy to place so high on the list!

I've kind of gotten tired of this song, but that's only because my local stations keep playing it non-stop! lol! It's an incredible song though! <3

I absolutely love this. It was just hanging around the 20s-30s 'til WAY started to fall faster in early summer. This is still on my chart after 50 weeks, having significantly more longevity than STIUTK, WAY or Lights, despite all of them being huge.

Thank you very much for your comments Sean, Joshu, Nick, Rocky, and Juan! Glad to see the positive response to the song! Glad you liked so much on your recap Juan! Great to see the song tearing up your chart Rocky! #5Alive - Black Eyed Peas - The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) And here we are with yet another one of those musical journey songs that I seem to like so much. I love all of the different segments in this song that just blend and flow together so well! Everyone in the band really delivers here, and I enjoy all of their parts. The lyrics are very beautiful and I just love how their vocals and the instrumentals all lend to the theme. The song just has its own atmosphere and really draws you in. This was easily the highlight of the era for me with this band, and I find it unfortunate that this wasn't able to become a single. Still this song definitely deserves its top five ranking.

Thank you for the comments Nick, Josh, Juan, and Sean! Glad to see positive response for the song! Nick way to not even say which BEP song you were thinking of. And Sean the remaining contenders are in alphabetical order Flo Rida, Ke$ha, Rihanna and Taio Cruz. Well, not after this post though. #4TiK ToK - Ke$ha - Animal This song is absolutely amazing and flawless and I'm so glad that it was the massive hit that it was. This was a song that I followed and was in love with before it actually started becoming a hit. I remember finding this song and it going #1 on my personal chart and me thinking 'lol so weird having such an unknown single as #1 on my chart'. Then I followed its chart run and was so happy every time that it got more and more success. This song is just a great song with plenty of quirks and just works well all around. The verses are so fun and the chorus is infectious to the max. Just another perfect song!

I used to like "TiK ToK", but after all the saturation/radio plays it had, I quite hate it However, it's a great and catchy song. I like the spanish phrases at the last part of the video :)

Thank you for your comments Sean, Juan, Nick, and Josh! Glad everyone loves the song, even though some might be burnt on it. It's still very much flawless! #3Whistle - Flo Rida - Wild Ones Ah yes, and now we get to this naturally flawless song. As most of you probably don't remember already, this song was behind Some Nights on my 2012 countdown. The difference being that this song has been smashing through all of 2013 and Some Nights hasn't; Whistle was simply a victim of cutoff dates. This song is really amazing though! It's a great tune that proved Flo Rida could get all the way to #1 on the Hot 100 and CHR/Pop without a feature or a sample. Quite simply just the same type of instrumentation you'd expect from any other act, so it's a song that helped demonstrate that he could get a massive hit on his lonesome. The whistles are of course great, but it's really the guitar riff that makes the instrumentation to this song. That guitar riff just gives me life, it's perfect! Also Flo Rida really mixes it up in his verses here, they are distinct from one another and just really damn good. His chorus is also awesome. Overall the King Of Pop slayed on this track~

"Some Nights" - fucking flawless. "Alive" - never heard it "TiK ToK" - I love it, but too high "Whistle" - same as "TiK ToK"

Love "Tik Tok" - even after it blocked "Bad Romance", what I can never forget - and also remember reading about her and listening to the song like the debut single of "Right Round" girl. That was a big hit and she deserved the recognition.
I liked "Whiste" for like two months, charted it in my top twenty, from where it jumped to #6. That's not bad, but after two number-ones ("Good Feeling" even had the 2nd highest point week in 2012). For some reason I started to hate it, so it dropped like a rock ruining the whole era. I found "I Cry" a lazy and bad single choice, it peaked in the top thirty this January. So don't like it at all.

I'm not here for "Whistle". Sorry :( I prefer "Wild Ones" or, even, "Good Feeling" over this.

Thank you for your comments Josh, Nick, Slizzard, Rocky, and Juan! It's okay that most of you are haters that don't love King Flo, but that's fine; I'm actually fairly sure most of you hate this song too that's at #2. #2We Found Love ft. Calvin Harris - Rihanna - Talk That Talk Yep, this is the song that is loved by pulse, except for the people in this section it seems. This is easily Rihanna's best song and her signature song. It's just amazing and perfect in every way imaginable and is very deserving of its placement here. It's also very deserving of its massive success on CHR/Pop and the Hot 100. It's also worthy of having haters such as you all who love to post about how you don't like it all the time. It's also worthy of having people like me who praise the hell out of it. The production is flawless all in of itself, and Calvin Harris definitely deserves a nod for it with that feature. He really did earn it with that amazing beat. Rihanna's vocals are about as magical as could be. The lyrics are simple and flawless and executed well. The video is perfect in more ways than a million. Just everything about it was a huge success. I am proud to have such an amazing song on my list!

I don't hate it, neither love it. I'm a bit too critical toward her, she's the most successful artist ever for me. 20 #1s, she's the first with a big lead. This wasn't one. I understand it's huge success, and happy for her, but would choose WHYB over this anytime.
I don't hate Flo Rida though. I enjoy most of his music.

Yay! I love "We Found Love". Calvin Harris's production is flawless :'(
I don't hate Flo Rida though. I agree with *Rocky. I mean, I don't hate him and I like some of his songs, like "Low", "Right Round" and "Club Can't Handle Mine".
