Wow! Billboard FINALLY reviewed this! Could this mean something or they're just late? www.billboard.com/bbcom/revie...d=100318849 9 Good Day JEWEL Producer(s): Rob Cavallo, Jewel Genre: POP Label: Atlantic The second single from Jewel's effervescent "Goodbye Alice in Wonderland" shows yet another side of the versatile folk/pop/rocker, with an autobiographical yet identifiable lyric about searching out the positive in our daily lives. "Good Day" opens with a feather-light vocal musing of dissatisfaction ("It's nice to see people can be/More messed up than me") before Jewel decides at the chorus, "It's gonna be alright/No matter what they say/It's gonna be a good day," with melodic guns blazing. The song is accompanied by a clever "Wizard of Oz"-esque black-and-white-to-color videoclip (thanks, YouTube) that could help bring mass-appeal triumph to this track. Meanwhile, clubs are having their own party with new mixes of CD track "Only One Too." On both accounts, Jewel remains in peak form. βChuck Taylor

Thank you so much!!
So... Good Day is already a bigger hit than This Way, Stand and 2 Become 1 and is tied up with Break Me. All in all, I think this will be Jewel's biggest 2nd single since Down So Long! And that considering the 1st single was far from being a smash! Go G'Day!!
EDIT: And what about Jupiter and What's Simple Is True?

I think this will peak at around #25 or so at the highest.
If 'Only One Too' gets a nice start, it should make the Top 40.

#30 again this week. It's amazing how this is hanging on with only 20 stations playing it.

I don't like this song that much, but I thought "Again and Again" was a great first single and I'm disappointed it didn't hit the top ten on Hot AC like her other lead singles.
I've been listening to her album this week and I like most of the songs, especially from the first half of the disc. Jewel sounds more like herself in this album (after 0304), so I don't understand why Hot AC would underplay one of their core artists.
I like the music video to this, though I thought her "7th Heaven" guest spot was kind of pointless.

Jewel is not a core artist on my Hot AC station. They rarely play her. :( But I did hear "Goodbye Alice in Wonderland" at my local Drug Mart the other day. Nice surprise. :)
