I think it's time to start posting my year-end chart. 2012 Year-end Top 15 Artist I'll start with this one because it won't change in the remaining two weeks. 1. I gave 1 points for the artists song at #100, and 101 for the one at #1. 2. Divided the points by the number of entries on the Year-end top 100, receiving another number. 3. Multiplied the first number with the second. 4. Gave +10% for the artists for a top 5 song, gave +20% for the artist with the #1 song. And got the final points.1. Fun.2. Rihanna 3. Lana Del Rey 4. Carly Rae Jepsen 5. Flo Rida 6. Ellie Goulding 7. Nicki Minaj 8. P!nk 9. Katy Perry 10. David Guetta 11. Gotye 12. Maroon 5 13. The Wanted 14. Adele 15. Kelly Clarkson Fun. won the race easily, edging out Rihanna by 80%. The #2-4 placements were really close. The artists with the most songs in Top 100 were Lana Del Rey and Nicki Minaj with 6.

Love the set up!!! I'm doing something similar by genre, but it won't be half as good as yours! Love the Taylor domination :)

I actually like 7 of your country songs and 7 of your rock songs. I'n guessing STIYTK is #1 if it beat out the 2 biggest songs by your #1 artist.

That's not as good as the last year achievement of "Someone Like You" (over 7 million), but in the same level of 2010's "Bad Romance" and "Tik Tok". "We Are Young" started after STIUTK, but exploded well before the #1 song. With 5,2 million points during its chart run, and closing 6 million, the situation is similar to 2010 when two big songs ruled through the year. "Some Nights" finished at #3 thanks to its crazy longevity (42 weeks and still charting). It's at 4,95 million. "Lights" was the longest chart-topper with five weeks and looked like it will be either #3 or #2. It started dropping hard in late November and went recurrent during the 51st week leaving "Some Nights" to pass it. It gathered 4,94 million points in 36 weeks. "Where Have You Been" stated in December 2011 with a big debut and stayed in the 40's-50's of the top 100 before it exploded when Def Jam announced it as a single and went to be a 4-week-chart-topper after the video release. It's #5 with 4,75 million points. "Stronger (WDKY)" is a special case, the longest top10 stayer this year (18 weeks), but only topped for one week. It finished #6 with 4,7 million points. "Glad You Came" is the highest non-#1 peaking song on the list. It stuck at #2 behind WHYB, but fell off slowly. It's #7 with 4,1 million points. "Set Fire To The Rain" was an early hit. It topped my chart for two weeks and earned 4 million points and a #8 placement. It's at around 4,5-5 million with recurrent points. "Call Me Maybe" peaked #3 in an inflated points period. It spent 11 weeks in top ten, it's quiet good. Placing #9 with 3,8 million points. "One More Nights" reached #1 in late September and got 3,7 million points. It's still charting, at #32.
