Radio Hits #20-11#20 LMFAO - Sexy And I Know ItWe headed to the bar\Baby don't be nervous\No shoes no shirt and I still get servicedThe chart position really didn't help to show just how massive of a hit this was. This song was fairly evenly split between this year and last year. If you tossed all of its points into 2011, it'd have been #1. If you tossed all of its points in 2012, it'd have been #2. Really this is an amazing universal epic party song and does everything right. The exasperated sighs are such a wonderful touch and really keep the song sounding fresh. This is the highest ranking LMFAO song, and for good reason! This is just top-notch material here folks. It's a shame it couldn't make the year-end top 10 either year; but luckily its overall stats are massive. This song got its second week at #1 literally eight weeks after its first week at #1. It was dominating the whole time along with N!@#$% In Paris, which actually got its 2nd week at #1 six weeks after its first week at #1. It was a very competitive time with these two huge songs and one other huge song. That other song is still upcoming and had its run split between the two years as well; what is it? Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 39 (13 weeks of the 39 were spent in 2011 and not counted towards the 2012 chart) #13 on the 2011 chart#19 Linkin Park - Castle Of GlassTake me down to the river bend\Take me down to the fighting end\Wash the poison from off my skinThis song may look like it didn't last too long, but it made a huge impact during the quarter of the year that it was on my chart. This was the song from Living Things that really stood out to me upon my first listen to the album. I simply fell in love with this amazing piece of work by the flawless and epic band. The lyrics may be minor, but they are very good. The instrumentation and the lyrics just take this song to a whole new level. The intro really sets the mood well. This song managed to top my chart for two consecutive weeks. However, this is only the second highest ranking Linkin Park this year. So what did end up outranking this and just how high is it? Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 13 #18 Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know ft. KimbraYou can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness\Like resignation to the end\Always the endA song that everyone knows and loves; or at least a song that everyone should know of and have some tolerance for. This song is the third highest ranking #3, which is funny as there are more #3s in the top 20 than #2s. The Mike D remix made this awesome; and I don't care how terrible it may sound to some or how much it may have 'ruined' the song. That cheap beat really helped make this song into a big smash; and not just on my chart. This song had good longevity and is the highest ranking song for Gotye and Kimbra of course. Peak: #3 Weeks: 19 #17 Hot Chelle Rae - Downtown GirlI smell her sweet perfume\Making rounds around the room\Cause she's a downtown girl a downtown girlThis should have been Hot Chelle Rae's second single easily. This song just stands out as an incredibly strong track and doesn't feel like a rehash of Tonight Tonight (whereas I Like It Like That, Honestly, and Whatever all do). And while those songs are good, they simply weren't the best way to fall up the epic single of Tonight Tonight. This should have been a new, fresh follow-up. It's different and just as catchy. This song may have only stalled out at #3, but it was a big hit all in the same with strong longevity. This is the highest ranking for the band this year. Peak: #3 Weeks: 18 #16 Gavin DeGraw - Not Over YouAnd I thought you were innocent\You took this heart and put it through hell\But still you're magnificentThis song had a fair cut-off between the two years. It racked up some decent small weeks in 2011 and blew up for me near the beginning of 2012. If all of its points were in this year, it'd have ranked at #8. Still, this was a solid single-week #1. It's easily one of his best songs and the only song from that album that sounds decent. As such, this is his highest ranking for this year, and he definitely earned it. Peak: #1 (1 Week) Weeks: 26 (7 weeks of the 26 were spent in 2011 and not counted towards the 2012 chart) #124 on the 2011 chart#15 Jason Aldean - Take A Little RideI hope you're wearing those frayed out cut-offs\Makes me want to get lost\Out in the moonlightThis is the third massive hit that Jason Aldean has had on my personal chart. The smash Big Green Tractor managed to get to #1 for a single week on my chart; and Dirt Road Anthem managed to get to #2 on my chart. And not this managed to make it to #3 on my personal chart. Quite the trend here; but they all were very similar in impact despite the differing peaks. This track has really, really fun lyrics to sing along to, with an epic rocking county instrumental. Really, the instrumental is so good. His vocals are as strong as ever here too. I'm happy to say that this is highest ranking #3 song on my chart and his highest ranking song this year. The rest of the songs on my personal chart are #1s and a single #2-peaking song. Peak: #3 Weeks: 19 #14 Nicki Minaj - StarshipsThey say what they gonna say?\Have a drink clink found the Bud Light\Bad bitches like me is hard to come byThis song instantly raced to the top of my charts when it came out. Nicki got her vengeance with this song after Super Bass peaked at #2 on my personal chart as well as ended up being #2 on my 2011 year-end chart as well. This song has amazing verses and the beat is so good. Nicki's vocals are as you'd expect, and they work great for her rapping on this song. Honestly this song could have had better longevity without the dirty techo breakdowns, but they were still good! Even with her placing a massive five songs in the top 50; this is her highest ranking song and it couldn't crack the top 10. Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 19 #13 Justin Bieber - BoyfriendChillin by the fire while we eatin' fondue\I dunno about me but I know about you\So say hello to falsetto in three two swaggieThis song debuted at #1 on my personal chart and stayed fixed atop for a strong three weeks. It then spent some good time in the top ten. Unfortunately this is the type of song with a fair burnout factor so it only managed fifteen weeks. Still; those fifteen weeks were huge and it shows with the song's ranking here, with Bieber landing at his favourite girl's favourite number. For those who didn't get that reference, Justin's song Favorite Girl was written for Taylor Swift, whose favourite number is 13. Justin's raps here are so good, and the beat is massively killer. This deserved to be a bigger hit on CHR/Pop and to be a #1 on the Hot 100. This is Justin's highest entry of course. Peak: #1 (3 Weeks) Weeks: 15 #12 Rihanna - We Found Love ft. Calvin HarrisLove and life I will divide\Turn away cause I need you more\Feel the heartbeat in my mindHer signature song and anthem of our generation for many years to come. This is the highest entry for Rihanna and Calvin Harris both this year. This song was the third song that was smashing alongside N!@#$% In Paris and Sexy And I Know It causing them all to have broken gaps at #1. This was of course the big winner, clocking in 5 weeks at #1; four of which were in 2011. This song was in the top 10 of last years chart and almost did it this year too (one or two weeks in the bottom half of my chart more would have done it). That's massive. This song would have been #1 in either year if you put its full chart run in either year. It would have had a big lead too. This song is everything and gives me life. The lyrics, the vocals, the instrumental, the most amazing music video of our time. This song is vastly underrated by Slizzard, Josh, and Au$tin of course. Luckily almost everyone else recognises it for the once-in-a-lifetime event it is. Peak: #1 (5 Weeks) Weeks: 39 (15 weeks of the 39 were spent in 2011 and not counted towards the 2012 chart) #10 on the 2011 chart#11 Hoodie Allen - No InterruptionThey tell me make my money\Frontin' on that weed style\I tell 'em I be too old for itNow here is a song that came out of nowhere and took me by surprise. I remember seeing this song here, and checking it out. It sounded solid, so I got it. Then it worked its magic. Those "Oooo"s in the background are amazing. His rapping is flawless. His lyrics are real and down to earth and so catchy. Gosh this is such a good song and it's sad to see it locked out of the top 10 by a minor miss in chart points. This is the highest ranking 1-week #1. But this song fought tooth and nail for that one week. How much of a fight you ask? This song found itself at #2 for five weeks. The two songs it was fighting to get a week in at #1 between their stays at the top happen to be my top 2 songs of the year. Yeah, this song earned it. This is his highest and only entry. The top 10 has nothing but multi-week #1s and a single #2 song. Peak: #1 (1 Week) Weeks: 20 Audio Snippets

Thank you all very much for your comments, love, support, hate, and even disapproval! But most of all thank you all for your patience in getting to the top 10!
If you have the time; feel free to predict the top 10 again now that there is a better idea of what is there!
Your clues: All songs were #1 for multiple weeks; with exception of one song that was a #2 hit. Flo Rida has two entries! Linkin Park/PSY (싸이)/Taylor Swift/Neon Trees/Train/fun./Katy Perry/Kelly Clarkson have the other eight hits in some order! Slizzard's previous guess included quite a few songs that made it!

Lumineers - Ho Hey Carly Rae Jepsen - Tonight I'm Getting Over You Well this is clearly going to suck. ... j/k even though I like both of these Solid band overall! Glad they're being represented a few times. Taylor Swift - State Of Grace Red is great, so yay for all the Taylor love! Too low, but glad it's here! A Train song I also enjoy; made my year-end too. Breathe Carolina - Blackout Great song I overlooked while it was current. Carly Rae Jepsen - Turn Me Up Well, okay, glad some of her songs made it at least! My breakout artist of the year (and "Some Nights" was my top song) so yay for their representation! Great band; great song. Passion Pit - Take A Walk Doesn't quite reach the heights of my favorites from the first album, but also a song I loved and charted... but "fun song"? Hmm. Neon Trees - Everybody Talks I completely love them and this came close to topping my year-end list, so yay. Took a few plays to grow on me, but now it's an eternal love affair. Well placed. Glad to see this get some more love! Jay-Z & Kanye West - N!@#$% In Paris Will never stop being amazing. Other songs I like here (+ songs I don't know / songs I don't like but that's to be expected), but I think that catches me up with stuff about which I need to comment. Whee. I feel accomplished. Looking forward to the top ten!

Radio Smash Hits #10-5#10 Flo Rida - I CryWhen I need a healing\I just look up the the ceiling\I see the sun coming down\I know its all better nowThis was one the tracks that instantly stood out to me when I heard the album in full. I just assumed it was going to be a big guilty pleasure album track for me while other songs were given single treatment. Imagine how delighted I was when this was announced as a single. Imagine even more how delighted I have been to see it smashing on the charts. I am happy that this song managed to scrap into the top ten by the skin of its teeth; giving Flo Rida two songs in the top ten instead of one. This song is the only song that peaked at #2 in the top 10, and it was blocked by something that ranks in the top 10 as well; so it's not like it was blocked by something that it beat in the end or anything. This song never had a super-high weekly point total, with the lowest of the entire top 10; but it did spend a strong ten weeks in the top 10 which made up for it. The sample in this song is amazing; but Flo Rida is really who makes this song shine. His lyrics and his rapping are simply unmatched here; and the video is flawless as well. Highest Weekly Points: 1478 Weeks In Top 10: 10 Peak: #2 Weeks: 17 #9 Neon Trees - Lessons In Love (All Day, All Night)When you walk my way\I feel the rush come over me a sharp panic panic\It's the things you say that makes the rush come over meThis is the youngest song in the top 10 and I don't see how this could possibly miss the 2013 year-end chart, it's simply too massive. Of its eleven weeks in 2012, only its debut week was not in the top 10. From there it raced up to the top of the chart and staying there for four weeks, which for my personal chart is very good (only nine songs have spent four weeks or more at #1 on my personal chart). This song has simply been a massive hit for me and is still tearing the chart up. I absolutely love the lyrics here and the vocals just make those lyrics connect. The instrumental is so good, I adore it; while the Kascade mix sounds alright, the original really is flawless all in its own and puts that mix to shame. There is just so much I love about this song, and I honestly never expected it from my first listen of it. The video is really really good too; I love it and it's a good follow-up to the Everybody Talks video. You should watch both videos back to back. I really want this song to gain traction on radio, but I'm afraid it might, which saddens me deeply. Highest Weekly Points: 1880 Weeks In Top 10: 10 Peak: #1 (4 Weeks) Weeks: 11 #8 Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble.A new notch in your belt is all I'll ever be\And now I see now I see now I see\He was long gone when he met me\And I realize the joke is on meThis is the second youngest song in the top 10 and I don't see this could possibly miss the 2013 year-end chart either; it's just as massive as the previous song! Quite funny how closely this song and the previous song have been mirroring each other. This song actually debuted at #1 on my personal chart, and stayed lodged there for four weeks until Neon Trees knocked her off, blocked another two of her songs from hitting #1, and spent its four weeks at #1. Taylor Swift hopefully isn't too bitter; but at least this song is a massive smash. This still hasn't left the top ten, and likely won't for a little while. Funny how of the nine songs that have ever spent four weeks or more at #1 on my personal chart; three of them happened and a row. This song followed a five-week #1 hit (which is upcoming!), was a four-week #1 hit, and was followed by another four-week #1 hit. Since then the chart has returned to normalcy. This is easily one of the best songs Taylor has put out, and I'm happy for all of the success it has been having; and it honestly deserves more. The instrumental is amazing, I love the chaotic dub-step parts, which really just helps give the lyrics of the song a life of their own. The video for this is really good too! Highest Weekly Points: 1855 Weeks In Top 10: 12 Peak: #1 (4 Weeks) Weeks: 12 #7 Train - 50 Ways To Say GoodbyeShe met a shark under water\Fell and no one caught her\I returned everything I ever bought her\Help me help me I'm all out of liesNow here's a song that managed to get its full run into 2012; right in the middle of the chart-year. This song seemed like it was just going to be a top five hit for me, but then it just kept on sounding better and better and topped my chart for two weeks! The song had decent longevity, and plenty of weeks in the top 10 on my chart even without a super-large highest weekly points ever. The lyrics of this song make this song, there's just no denying how entertaining and fun they are. The vocals here sound great, and the instrumental which sounded really awkward at first, actually proved to be amazing. They simply did so much right with this song, and it's a really fun and different spin on a break-up sob-story love song. This is yet another song with a video that is really good; I guess videos do help sometimes! Highest Weekly Points: 1594 Weeks In Top 10: 12 Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 22 #6 Kelly Clarkson - Let Me DownI cant buy into what you're selling\And no its not that I don't want it\Believe me I'd love to close my eyes enjoy the rideOf course, there is no video for this song and we all know why. I really wish that they had stuck with this song as the lead single for Kelly, as I truly believe this could have done better than anything on the album except for the lead title itself. Still, this will just have to remain another amazing album gem from Kelly Clarkson. This song had part of its run cut-off by 2011, a whopping ten weeks! But even if those ten weeks were in 2012, this would only be a single position higher. That's because those ten weeks this song wasn't doing much, in fact it was looking close to just dropping off my chart after not making any impact. Then the song just clicked with me, right at the beginning of the year strangely enough. The song zoomed up to #1 on my chart, and got two weeks there. Put it was already fairly old to me by that point, so it didn't stay in the top ten for too long, dropping out after only six weeks. But then it had another little mini-resurgence weeks later and got another two weeks in the top ten. Then it sunk yet again, dropping off my chart shortly after. Then it entered by chart again after a few weeks off and then finally left the chart for real. Yes, quite the chart run for quite the song. Flawless production, vocals, and lyrics. Highest Weekly Points: 1683 Weeks In Top 10: 8 Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 38 (10 weeks of the 38 were spent in 2011 and not counted towards the 2012 chart) #139 on the 2011 chartRadio Power Rotation #5-3#5 Katy Perry - Part Of MeYou ripped me off your love was cheap\Was always tearing at the seams\I fell deep and you let me drown\But that was then and this is nowSo the demo for this song never really did much for me, sounded really bland. Then the song came out in a polished mastered quality, and I fell in love instantly. How instantly? Well it did debut at #1 on my personal chart of course and got two weeks atop of the chart. This song may have only gotten a mere seven weeks in the top 10 on my personal chart, the shortest of any song in the top 10, but that certainly doesn't tell the whole story with this song. Sure, the song burnt out of the top ten quickly, but it didn't burn too much, sticking to the upper-half of my personal charts for quite some time. This song even had a resurgence where it nearly broke into the top 10 again, but fell short. Still that all and massive longevity, plus having its full run in 2012 with nothing getting cut-off, allowed for this song top make my top 5 for 2012. The song is just so good, it really has become one of my favourite Katy Perry songs easily. I love singing along with this one, it's just the best kind of fun break-up anthem with a solid video, although she does have better videos. Highest Weekly Points: 1864 Weeks In Top 10: 7 Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 30 #4 PSY (싸이) - Gangnam Style (강남스타일)뛰는 놈 그 위에 나는 놈 baby baby\나는 뭘 좀 아는 놈\You know what I’m sayingOn top of the running man is the flying man baby baby\I’m a man who knows a thing or two\You know what I’m sayingAnd now we get to that song I was mentioning earlier. This song only recently left the top 10 of my personal chart, spending its first 16 weeks in the top 10 of my personal chart, five of which were at #1. And it was only dislodges so early because of those massive hits that ended up following it and also breaking into the top 10. This songs highest weekly points total is literally insane. There is no maximum points a song can get in a week, as it's just how much I enjoy a song a week; but 2000-points is a pseudo-maximum I have set-up. It can be broken, but only if a song is like dominating my life for the week. Since I implemented my points system, only two songs have ever broken 2000 points: Hangover by Taio Cruz, who I stan for as much as I do Flo Rida (who was featured on the track, so yeah, that was expected) and this song. And Hangover just barely broke the barrier. This song slayed that 2000 point barrier. Really this song is huge and will continue to rack up points in 2013 I'm sure. It's very plausible that this would have been #1 had the song come out earlier in the year. The music video is of course of the greatest music videos of all time, and I'm happy for all of the success it has had breaking one billion views and still smashing. The song itself is really good too though, and underrated by many as a stand-alone song (and snubbed from #1 on the Hot 100 by unrepresentative airplay modifiers). I feel PSY is really talented, hence why his whole EP ended up charting. The instrumental, lyrics, and vocals all hit the mark excellently here. This wasn't the first K-Pop song to chart, and definitely not the first foreign language song to become a big hit on my chart, with Alors On Danse and Danza Kurudo making big splashes on my chart as well. Had I started a personal chart in high school, there would have been many more foreign language #1s. Highest Weekly Points: 2077 Weeks In Top 10: 16 Peak: #1 (5 Weeks) Weeks: 19 #3 Linkin Park - In My RemainsFalling in the cracks of every broken heart\Digging through the wreckage of your disregard\Sinking down and waiting for a chance to feel aliveAnd now we make it the best Linkin Park song from Living Things. Linkin Park has tons of success on my personal chart, and is my favourite band and likely always will be. Had my personal chart been going on for my whole life they would have had many many more #1s than they currently do. This song spent a solid two weeks at #1 on my chart, blocking I Cry from the top slot. The song also spent and excellent 15 weeks in the top 10 of my personal chart; and was even still on my personal chart by the end of 2012. Just a very strong chart run overall, and this song wasn't even the song that stood out when I first listened to the album. This was of course one of the songs that sounded great at first, but others distracted me from just how good this song is. The instrumental is amazing, with a flawless intro. The vocals here hit every mark, as expected from Chester and Mike who are really way too talented (along which Hahn and Phoenix who are also musical geniuses). I really would love for this song to get the single treatment, as I believe it could smash easily. (A radio edit with 'like an army' changed to 'every part of me' would solve any grievances of it sounding too political.) This is just an amazing song and I hope there is a video for it in the future. Highest Weekly Points: 1864 Weeks In Top 10: 15 Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 28 Runner-Up #2#2 Flo Rida - WhistleTalented with your lips\Like you blew out a candle\So amusing now you can make a whistle with the musicThis song came dangerously close to striking distance of the #1 slot, barely missing out and is still charting on my personal chart while the next song is not. Still, landing in the runner-up slot is no laughing matter when you have two songs in the top 10 and were the #1 artist of the year anyway. Flo Rida really delivered this year. I have always been a huge fan of his, and this year has really been his time to shine. I have been so delighted to see all of the successful singles he has had this year and hope that his success continues for years to come. I was ecstatic to see one of his best songs ever managed to become a multi-week #1 on the Hot 100. Even funnier, this song had non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 and my personal chart (although they didn't correspond). This song didn't really race to the #1 spot on my chart, it took a little while to get there. Then it only spent a single week there. But it refused to leave the top 10 of my chart. It just sounded too good; and then it just started sounding even better and went back to #1 on my chart a whopping seven weeks after its first week at #1. And the song has been a massive longevity smash for me since then. The lyrics and Flo Rida's rapping are top notch; I really love his hooks and his verses. What's different here is that Flo Rida proved he could get a massive, infectious smash without a sample or a featured artist. He did it all on his own, and I am proud of him for it. Just a whistle and a flawless guitar riff is all Flo Rida needs to back him up, no different than other artists with their instrumentals. The video is hilarious too just because of what it is. Highest Weekly Points: 1708 Weeks In Top 10: 19 Peak: #1 (2 Weeks) Weeks: 35 Song Of The Year #1#1 fun. - Some NightsWell some nights I wish that this all would end\Cause I could use some friends for a change\And some nights I'm scared you'll forget me againAnd we finally reach my #1 song of the year. This song spent its full chart run in 2012, as it has already fallen off of my chart. This song came within striking distance of that 2000 point barrier I mentioned, and spent a whopping 17 weeks in the top ten on my personal chart. 32 weeks might seem short compared to some other big hits I've had, but it's really a massive chart run. This song spent a whopping seven consecutive weeks at #1 on my personal chart, which is the record. It wasn't running unopposed either, as it had some threats that could have easily cut its stay at #1 shorter easily. This song was just too epic for me to not be obsessed with it for so long. I of course, have always been one to be harsh on fun., and this song being amazing doesn't change that. I really don't feel they are too impressive of a band. To me, this is their one-hit-wonder on my chart, and listening to their previous work and the rest of their CD I'm left wondering how they made this song. This song just stands out as a masterpiece. The video is appropriate and suits the song very well. From start to finish, this song takes you on a journey. The song starts off with a bang, and just keeps on going and going through different musical mini-adventures. There are so many different parts to this song, and they all blend together beautifully: from the bongos, to the over-the-top auto-tune, to the amazing ending guitar. The song just had a lot of pieces that fit perfectly together musically. The song's lyrics and message are really amazing. I am of course disappointed that this song wasn't bigger, which is really should have been; but I feel it will be considering a classic in future years and thus a song I am happy to have as my #1 this year. Hot ZV Thank Yous Thank you to everyone who has tuned in, even once: juanito, hitseeker., ry4n, getmyrocksoff91, Libra, WotUNeed, Landmarx, Codex, Nightfire, stomas90, nick64, Slizzard, and josh. It's nice having so many people take some time to look at things and comment. Thank you to anyone who has read but not commented if you are out there! I would especially like to thank nick64, Slizzard, and josh for their many comments and tuning in almost every step of the way! There is a full audio snippet link posted away, if you want to listen through things then please do! There are a lot of different songs on there so you never know what might catch your interest! I have definitely had a lot of different songs catch my interest this year, so I am happy with some of the diversity that showed; or at least I don't feel my year-end looks too generic or like a carbon copy of the Hot 100 or anything. Also thank you for any comments you leave after this post as well!

I love your whole chart! Curiosity top 30! :O As Long As You Love Me! Sexy And I Know It! Somebody That I Used To Know! Starships. I Knew You Were Trouble (still #2 for me). That's pretty good for Part Of Me. I feel like my year-end chart doesn't represent how big it was. My chart may be the only one where it didn't debut at #1 (#4), but did climb there. It did last circa 20 weeks for me. And, the best of all: Some Nights I didn't even think about that this can win over Whistle! Great!

"Some Nights" is an amazing pick for #1, and "Whistle" is a great #2 as well. Excellent songs all around, including We Found Love, Up All Night, Troublemaker, Just Give Me A Reason, Pound The Alarm, Starships, 50 Ways To Say Goodbye, etc. Great work!

Because WHYB sucks. Luckily she was able to have a quick minor run with it thanks to the Flo Rida remix which I charted. Also I will guarantee that at least 1 of the following 10 songs will be in my top 10: Adele - Skyfall Alex Clare - Too Close Bruno Mars - Locked Out Of Heaven Katy Perry - Part Of Me Maroon 5 - One More Night Ne-Yo - Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself) Owl City - Good Time ft. Carly Rae Jepsen Phillip Phillips - Home Rihanna - Diamonds Wanted - Glad You Came Was actually code for: "only one of these songs is even in the top 115". :kii:
