So if Thrift Shop sold 400,000, "When I Was Your Man" would sell 184,000, a very large gap to make up. The Grammy's will likely boost Bruno's digital sales (which makes this weeks Top 10 so hard to forecast), but not enough to pass "Thrift Shop". |

Based on how airplay usually works, I would say there is little chance of that happening. The Top40 stations are moving away from "Locked out of Heaven" and going on to the next single. Since they make up the bulk of the radio plays and audience #s, it is unlikely that Taylor Swift is in any danger of losing her #1 position to "Locked Out Of Heaven". |

I'm starting to think that "Thrift Shop" will challenge "One Sweet Day" for the "longest-running #1 song" title (16 weeks). It' still pulling +300k weekly and has a lot room to grow airplay-wise.
Under the new rules "One More Night" was able to spend 9 weeks at the top, and this is certainly a lot bigger than that. What do you think?
