I just heard about this, too bad I wasn't able to see the video, I'm sure it wasn't that bad! I put the link of the "Help Me Lose My Mind" ban video on that post! (The link was before the YouTube embed video) Anyway, seems that it was kind on unclear, so if you want to watch the ban video, you can do it here.

I didn't find this video that bad compared to what's out there I mean Rihanna's "We Found Love" had actual pills and booze throughout the video.

A new collaboration with the guys, Nile Rodgers, Sam Smith, and Jimmy Napes:

The guys deliver again and really the only doozy about this? It's way too short.

From Thump: :o I wasn't expecting Disclosure to pull another single from Settle. However, I would have preferred "Defeated No More" or "Confess to Me" over "Voices" tb h. Listen to the Le Youth remix of "Voices" below: https%3A//soundcloud.com/thump/disclosure-voices-le-youth/

^ That Le Youth remix is something else. Reminds me of Real McCoy or La Bouche, which is not a sound I'd ever link Disclosure to.
I agree; "Defeated No More would have been the best single choice imo.

"When a Fire Starts to Burn" and "White Noise (feat. AlunaGeorge)" land at #5 and #63, respectively, on Rolling Stone's 100 Best Songs of 2013. They said the following about "When a Fire Starts to Burn": And this is what they said about "White Noise (feat. AlunaGeorge)":

Verry excited about the nomination (too bad no BNA) - I feel Random Access Memories is their biggest competition, and I haven't heard that album so not sure what their chances of winning

Sasha Keable's voice is pretty much amazing and probably the reason why "Voices" has grown on me so much. I'd throw it into my personal top 5 songs of the album right now from an overall standpoint.

Another video has been released through Thump. It's for the track "Grab Her!", which contains a sample of "Look of Love" by Slum Village.

These boys are f**king massive now and I both love it and hate it. They were doing a DJ set at Output in Brooklyn this past Saturday night after their sold out show at Terminal 5. My friends and I arrived an hour before doors opened, and the queue was already wrapped around two full sides of the block. Was told there was pretty much no shot of getting it, but that didn't stop many from trying anyway (we gave up and went to bars). It was only 15 months ago that I saw them down the street for $10 and stood within touching distance of the stage. When will I ever again? *cries* Anyway, they're f**king adorable and smitten by their banner week of taking NYC by storm. Before Fallon (with Sam Smith) Meeting two of their idols (Mary J. Blige and Sting)at one of their multiple sold out Terminal 5 shows. Mary joined them on stage for "F For You." They also met Elvis Duran of Z100 who predicted that they'll be the main breakout act of 2014 in the US.

Why are they going with "Latch" as opposed to "White Noise"? I love "Latch," (especially the DJ Premier mix), but it doesn't make sense as a first single. I think they'll be like Robyn (Body Talk Era). Everyone will know about them (as if most didn't already), and they'll do a few high profile appearances, but I'm not sure if any of the hype will translate into airplay or sales. They should do a remix of "White Noise" with a big American act on lead if they want to sell albums.

I think they'll be like Robyn (Body Talk Era). "Latch" is the right choice imo. "White Noise" is amazing too but I think it's a bit too housey to introduce a new act to the US. If they blow up and want to release it later, then that's a different story. That would be an awful idea. They need to make a name for themselves; not pigeonhole themselves as an act that requires a famous guest star from the get go. We want radio to say "The new single from Disclosure;" not some established US pop star.

I would much rather they make a name for themselves, but lbr, "Get Lucky" would not be huge had Sam Smith sung lead. I guess if "La La La" blows up, this could, too. I want it to do well, but without a huge label push (see: Ellie Goulding), I don't know if American PDs will ever give them a chance.

It was only 15 months ago that I saw them down the street for $10 and stood within touching distance of the stage. When will I ever again? *cries* At least, you saw them live I hope they could come to South America this year. I think this is one of the reasons I really want them to have some success in the US because some Peruvian promoters could bring them here. I know, this is sad. They should do a remix of "White Noise" with a big American act on lead if they want to sell albums. No. Please, no. As Adam pointed out, I also think Disclosure needs to make a name by themselves and not by an established US act. And this means that I want AlunaGeorge to break the US scene if "White Noise" becomes a single too.

I think Latch is the perfect single to introduce them to North America - I'm gonna be laughing in a few months when my friends are like "OMG you should check out this song by this band Disclosure, sooooo awesome!"

Calvin Harris made a name for himself here with other artists. O. That's true! I always keep forgetting that Calvin Harris became worldwide known because of Rihanna and the success that "We Found Love" had.
Disclosure produced a track for Bishop Nehru and it's called "You Stressin'". Listen to it below: https%3A//soundcloud.com/bishopnehru/bishop-nehru-you-stressin
The guys have put on a very limited run of 12' vinyls of their song "January", which features Jamie Woon, and it will include the original version and the Kaytranada mix as a B side. You can get it here.
