I hope more than anything this means she's worked with them. 'Latch' grew on me a bit, and they have their moments. I'd be interested to see what they come up with together. Madonna is the LAST person I'd want them to work with. I mean she's not top of my list either, but she wouldn't be THAT bad.

I mean she's not top of my list either, but she wouldn't be THAT bad. 90's Madonna would have been awesome, but today her music is devoid of any real character, artistry, or soul... so why work with her just because she's a huge name when they have a talent pool as large as they do to extract from? Settle worked because Disclosure invited guests who bring something fresh to the table. What would Madonna, the artist in 2014, bring? Katy Perry scraps?

Instead of what would Madonna bring, I'm thinking about what Disclosure would. She may not have aged well, but if her last few records are any indication, she's content taking back-seat to the producer. I'm not saying it would mutually beneficial or anything, I just think it would be interesting to see what comes out of their sessions.

If Disclosure strikes gold though, why bring it to Madonna's table? Whether it be a different veteran such as Mary J. Blige or an up & comer like Jessie Ware, the female vocalists that have so far been invited to Disclosure's sessions bring soul and emotion to the table. What can today's Madonna possibly bring other than bank? Artistically, Disclosure is better off saving their better work for someone else.

I'm not going to act like Madonna isn't scraping the bottom of the barrel these days, but she's still Madonna. If they can work with QUEEN MARY, they can stand to work with her and still create something great. I mean, honestly what do they have to lose?

Kind of interested to see what Disclosure and Madge could potentially cook up. I hope it's a downtempo track if anything.

Their set at Governor's Ball was pretty boring. It was just like listening to the record but with even less energy. It was near impossible to get to the VIP area because of all the hipsters crowded in to see them but once there, no one seemed to care. I was hoping that Mary would come out for their duet but..alas.

Hipsters moved on from Disclosure LONG AGO

Disclosure covers the recent issue of Billboard Magazine. Check the article from Billboard here, where they discussed about the success of "Latch" among other things. Also, the pic below is amazing.

Something is brewing between Disclosure and and R&B/pop ICON Usher and is due to arrive tomorrow. No word on whether it's an original song or a remix just yet.

Seems like it's been a long time for them to have not announced a US follow-up to "Latch". I'm wondering if they have plans for early in the new years in the US and are just going to abandon Settle.

It's time that they move on from this in the US and just put all further efforts into their sophomore album. Latch allowed them to gain face value and the tour helped a lot too. Releasing a 2 year old single may work the first time since it still seems "fresh" to those behind but Alex Clare, AWOLNATION, and The Neighbourhood can attest that releasing subsequent singles from that album is a no go in the US. Well unless it pertains to a specific format.

Their label is absolutely ridiculous for not releasing a follow-up to Latch. So what if it wasn't as big of a hit? I think 'White Noise' could have been a modest hit in the US..it faired almost as well as 'Latch' in the UK. The Mary J Blige feature on F For You could have helped that song also do well also.

They should've tried "You & Me", I hear that song everywhere over here.

It's crazyyy that there was no follow up attempt.
