"Nothing Compares To You" "Angel" (Sarah Mcglaughlin) "Everybody Hurts"
are 3 songs that come to mind that get me teary eyed.

Also "Someone Like You" gets me emotional.
And "My Heart Will Go On" but only in the context of the end of Titanic, so I guess that wouldn't really count.

It has only happened to me once, and this song was the culprit.

Recently, "Landslide" got me to the verge of tears. </3 Assuming you're referring to the Dixie Chicks version, I'm with you. When listening to Home, I always play "Landslide", "Travelin' Soldier", "Top of the World", and "Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)" in that order. I never fail to tear up. :'(

Celine Dion - Goodbye's (The Saddest Word) can't imagine losing my mom :'( This is the only song which has this effect on me. Everything Is Beautiful - Kylie Minogue I'm genuinely curious as to why this makes you cry. It's my favorite from Aphrodite.

Surprisingly, a lot of of the Psalm hymns make me cry too. Beautiful music. But yeah, you probably aren't interested in those

"23" by Jimmy Eat World, and I think "Hear You Me" is a good sad song too. "The Dance" by Garth Brooks "Sing You Back To Me" by Trisha Yearwood "A Home" and "Top of The World" - Dixie Chicks "If No One Will Listen", "Because of You", "Breaking Your Own Heart" - Kelly Clarkson "If I Had Only Known" - Reba "One More Day" - Diamond Rio "Simple Kind of Life" - No doubt "I Will Always Love You" - Whitney Houston
I don't exactly cry every time I hear these songs but they have at times made me tear up. Songs that usually are about someone dying always seem to get me.

I tear up practically to any Whitney song (even before her death) b/c I reminisce on how beautiful she sounded in her prime & she fudged it up by doing those drugs. That somewhat makes me cry.

^ And now "Greatest Love of All", "All At Once", "I Have Nothing", "Run To You", "Miracle", "Why Does It Hurt So Bad".... most of the ballads will do that now to me.
