Considering I'm a person who gets emotional at the smallest thing in films, there's not a lot of music that makes me cry. However, authoring the #1s of 1970 thread this morning made me think about how Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" rarely fails to set me off. By "I'M SAILING RIGHT BEHIIIIND" in the bridge I'm normally blubbing like a baby!
So what songs make Pulse cry?

Songs don't usually had that effect on me, but once Demi Lovato "Skyscraper" had me glossy-eyed.

Obviously, these don't make me cry every time I hear them, but they have made my teary-eyed at least once.
The Band Perry - If I Die Young Demi Lovato - Skyscraper Eminem - When I'm Gone Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullaby (feat. Allison Krauss) Lindsay Lohan - Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father) Jordin Sparks - This Is My Now
There's a few others I can't think of at the moment.

These have all made me cry at one point or another. (I put them in approximate order of how emotional they made me) Cassie Steele - Go Dark Relient K - Deathbed Gary Jules & Michael Andrews - Mad World Janet Jackson - Living In A World (They Didn't Make) Dixie Chicks - You Were Mine Dixie Chicks - Travelin' Solider Chely Wright - Why Do I Still Want You Taylor Swift - Never Grow Up Taylor Swift - Cold As You Hilary Duff - Someone's Watching Over Me TLC - Turntable P!nk - F**kin' Perfect (due to the video)
This doesn't happen, but somehow the day this thread was made, two songs made me very emotional today: Jennifer Lopez - Alive Avril Lavigne - Goodbye
There are others I will think of later.

...I don't cry at songs. Me neither, but I have gotten misty eyed for a few songs. Most recent would be Swift's "Back to December." LOL.

I've cried while listening to some tracks, but not because of the songs itself. At best, the tracks increased my crying, but the motive it started was never because of it.
Taylor Swift - Mean and a Mariah Carey track (probably Can't take that away) are the only ones that come to mind. (Yeah, embarassed about mean, but my father and I had just had a big fight lol)

Heidi Montag's 'Body Language'. I cried because of how badly it hurt my ears.

With the music video tagged along, Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood. Temporary Home by the goddess is another one, but that's on a very, very personal level for me.
Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw is another one that can get me misty-eyed at times. Craig Morgan's This Ain't Nothin' is beautiful, as well.

I don't believe a song has ever made me cry without a visual to go with it. Like, my little brothers recently did a little musical camp and they sang a duet together, and they were actually good and it was so awesome and cute that I teared up.
Also, I bawled as a kid in the Dumbo scene where the mom elephant cradles Dumbo outside her cage with her trunk and that heart-wrenching "Baby Mine" song comes on. If I was in the right (or wrong, rather) mood, I could probably just listen to that song and cry.

Kudos on this choice. I've got misty eyed over it before. I didn't think I'd ever see it be mentioned on Pulse either. lol
