I've always been a casual supporter of Brit since she's a home state gal and all (Kentwood is boring as hell may I add), but I'm not a huge fan by any means. But, this is a really solid album. She sorta ditched the pop girl act for a minute and kinda dabbled in R&B and a little of house too? This is a very chill, sexy and mature album and I still rank it as her best album, even though Blackout and Femme Fatale are worthy contenders.I'm doing my best to revive this place.

fabulous album, probably my 2nd fave from Brit (behind Blackout). I would've looooved to see "Breathe On Me" released as the 4th single instead of "Outrageous", it's definitely one of her all-time best album tracks. I'm usually not a big fan of the Ying Yang Twins, but "I Got That (Boom Boom)" is so addictive. <3
favorite tracks = "Breathe On Me", "Toxic", "Everytime", "I Got That (Boom Boom)", "Don't Hang Up"

This probably wouldn't even be in my top three favorite Britney albums, but it's a really solid album and I still love it. "Toxic," "Breathe on Me," and "Everytime" are among her best. The only tracks I don't especially love are "Early Mornin'" and "The Hook Up," but they're good enough that I don't usually skip them if I'm listening to the album. "(I Got That) Boom Boom" remains the jam to this day.

"Early Mornin'" is probably my fave track on the album. The beat is so sexy. And thanks to White Chicks, "Boom Boom" will always have a special place in my heart, lol.

Honestly, it's overrated. I like it but this also would not be in my top three from her.
However, "Everytime" is flawless and you all will deal. :)

This is my second favourite Brit album behind Blackout. It's kinda perfect. Personally, I don't like "Outrageous" and "Brave New Girl" (that's so far my least Josh & Brian production they made for/with her) and I think "Girls and Boys" and "Don't Hang Up" should have replaced those. Oh! "Breathe on Me" remains as my favourite non-single track. It's absolutely flawless and it should have been released officially along "(I Got That) Boom Boom" and, maybe (why not?), "Touch of My Hand".

It's a great album! "Breathe on Me", "Showdown" and "Shadow" are among her best album tracks imo. I also adore "Toxic" and "Everytime" obviously.

I still dance my ass off to "Me Against the Music" to this day. I perished from joy when that song & video came out and the rest of the album did not disappoint.
Also, <3 "Shadow"

I remember one time my roommate played "D.A.N.C.E' by Justice and I accidentally started singing "Me Against The Music". Phenomenal.

I'll say that I'm a casual fan as well. In The Zone is definitely her strongest album! Showdown slays.
My top 5 Britney albums:
1) ITZ 2) Blackout 3) OIDIA 4) Circus 5) Femme Fatale

This is one of my favorite Britney albums, but not because of the songs most people rave about. My favorites are “Outrageous, The Hook Up, Showdown and Everytime”. I liked, but was never obsessed with “Toxic” like so many were. I also really liked the underperforming “Me Against The Music” but was never really into fan favorite “Breathe On Me”. My least favorite from the release was probably “Brave New Girl”.

I liked this album when it came out, but I listened to my copy of it on vinyl not that long ago and was impressed how well it has held up (well, except Outrageous because fuck R. Kelly). Great album.
