Goes for adds JANUARY 24. I like this song alot, a great choice for a single. But the "murder on music row" might destroy the song

Agreed. This and "5, 4, 3, 2 Run" are two of the better songs on the album and either would have a great choice as the next single.

Pretty good. Not as good as their previuos two singles, but I still like it.
I'll predict this peaks around #20

I have mixed feelings about this release. It's my favorite song on the CD, so I'm glad it's getting a release, but at the same time I'm not sure how well it will do. Some of the lyrics, most notably the 'murder on music row' line may put off some of the more conservative stations.

It's a great song, but I share the same concerns over how some stations out there might not like a few of the lyrics. The song got a 73% PICKED rating on After Midnite, for what it's worth.... www.aftermidnite.com/music.htm

I just listened to this song for the first time, and I have to say, for a major label act to release a single containing a line that might put radio off from playing it - that takes guts! I'm gonna have to buy the new SheDAISY album now!!!! Ann-Marita www.annmarita.com

Its an okay, making mention of their music on 3 occasions is a little much
1. "Ever Knock on the Sky, and fall on your head", probably a reference on their last cd that bombed at radio (named Knock on the Sky)
2. "Ever Been Accused of Music on Murder Row"
3. "Ever Found your last record in the bargain bin". Iam sure another shot at the Knock on the Sky cd.

Never thought of that.. and its murder on music row I was thinking maybe that was in reference to the "non-country" acts like Shania because I know Kristyn idolizes Twain and I thought maybe that was where that lyric came from...

Someone at the Shedaisy messageboard found this very positive review on allaccess.com
SHeDAISY/Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing (LYRIC STREET) Review by Jim Asker The sisters K follow-up their somber, "Come Home Soon," with a three-minute roller coaster ride that covers everything from needing to relieve yourself while stuck in traffic, messy divorces, excess baggage etc. - All of it tongue in cheek - all very fun. Plain and simple, this kind of music is a great diversion from the mundane stuff that drives all of us crazy - "Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing," driven by a sassy lead vocal from sister - Kassidy - will give your listeners a nice escape from the worries of everyday life. SHeDAISY definitely up their "cool factor," with each single these days too. I'm not sure why their perception went south for a while anyways. That's just inside-radio stuff anyways- over thinking kookiness- if you ask me. You're listeners can give two rips. They're too busy worrying about having enough funds to pay for little Johnny's I-Pod, and that's the point of this record - "Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing!" Hey we can't all be members of the MUZIK MAFIA - I can't- you can't - And your listeners can't - but who cares - these girls are cool- If Kassidy, Kristyn and Kelsi were throwing a sorority party - I'd be there with bells on - and so would you - This is a great record- play it! Impacting everywhere now.

But every review on All Access is positive. Whatever. I wouldn't know because I don't subscribe to AllAccess. You've already made the point earlier that you don't like the song. No need to repeat yourself.

I didn't repeat myself at all, I was just pointing out that a positive review on All Access is worthless. They're all positive. Not to mention, labels pay to be featured on the site.

I have really been a fan of these girls since their debut but the "cutesie" songs are getting old. Almost everything they put out is really out of the ordinary. Not saying they should sell out or anything but it just seems like they need a normal up beat song. I know Mine all Mine was "normal" but it seems they make a effort to be really different and it dosen't seem to be striking a chord. Just my opinion.

Why would/should anyone put out anything "ordinary"?

Hey it's MISTER SUNSHINE!! ::)Sorry I have to zip my lips now (after I vent). I am through reading your miserable post. You bring nothing to this board of any merit. And judging from some e-mails I have received, a lot of others feel the same way. I won't post anything directed to you as well as you shouldn't to me. Apparently since I won't use your votes in the little tournament you will now trash anything I say. Go back to your little corner and pout and don't worry about me bothering you any more.

I like this song alot. It made me laugh the first time I heard it.
It's #23 this week on R&R and Mediabase updates look good for the Top 20 in the near future.
Love the video, too.

They have not released a single that I haven't liked. I think their writing is clever and their harmonies always fresh and tight. I know there is usually a witty catch to their songs, and this is okay with me. It works for Toby Keith, after all! I like that they put a new spin on the same-old stuff, and this song is no exception. The video is great as well.

How much has their album sold? What did "MINE ALL MINE" peak at, I know it was really pop, but it's my favorite single by them!

'Mine All Mine' peaked at #28 on Billboard and #24 on R&R...which is too bad. It is one of their best songs to date. I would think their album is close to a gold certification, but I'm not sure... I think this new single may be a dark horse as well, gotchagood. It has been consistently strong for 4 or 5 weeks now, looking as though stations have picked it up. It is testing extremely well with women these days and it just may be enough to get the girls back into the Top 10.

I love all their albums--Knock on the Sky and Sweet Right Here are amazing albums!
Interesting, though, that all their lead singles from all the albums hit Top 10 or Top 15 (didn't "Get Over Yourself" miss the Top 10) and then, the follow-ups barely make Top 20...
I am hoping for this single to be big for them. They are definetly under appreciated and under recognized. Not a single group nomination from ACM/CMA for as long as I can remember.
Can someone find sales for Sweet Right Here and post it? Thanks!

Passenger Seat was a Top 10 on R&R, reaching #9. But on Billboard, only made #12, as you mentioned.
Get Over Yourself would have most likely made the Top 20 or even Top 15 if it hadn't been pulled by Lyric Street due to bad response from radio and a slow start. I think it spent only 10 weeks on the chart. It was pulled in favor of a song that many believed would be a big hit, 'Mine All Mine'.

The Callout America numbers keep improving... I wont repeat all the stuff said about the song in the last two research letters, but if you want to see for yourself, you can visit this topic on Shedaisy's messageboard: www.shedaisy.com/iboard/index.php?showtopic=1977I was happy to see the song make it on their suggested Heavy rotation group. :)

It's #19 this week on R&R, #18 on the daily Mediabase R&R chart today, and FINALLY made a big jump after being stuck at #28 for four consecutive weeks on Billboard. It's #23, and more than doubled it's audience gains for the week, from about 600,000 last week to almost 1.3 million.
