I'm happy the girls have finally made it back to the Billboard Top Ten after a long five year absence. :) The're #10 this week, having missed out on #9 by being 0.83% lower in audience than Kenny. Their audience bullet of 1.539 is larger than Tim McGraw's, Brad's, Toby's, and just barely below Faith's 1.597. In it's 26th week, "Don't Worry" is the oldest song on Billboard that still has a bullet, so how long this sort of run-up can last is very much in question, but SHeDAISY fans are happy it's gotten this far.

The song is now #7 on R&R. :) . This song has enjoyed a very successful run and is the highest charting song for the girls since 'I Will...But', which was 5 years ago.
Congratulations to SHeDAISY.

SHeDAISY just barely missed being #8 this week on BB. McGraw's "Fries" was the biggest gainer (+3.248 million) and ended up about 200,000 ahead of SHeDAISY on the chart. The girls still moved up to #9 when Keith Urban fell three positions to #10. SHeDAISY's audience bullet is 1.067 million. This is their 27th week on the Billboard chart, and is the oldest song that still has a bullet. It's one week older than #22 Trick Pony. No matter what you think of the song you have to admit it's had surprising staying power to this point. The song also enters the Top 10 on this week's Callout America song research chart. www.bullsi.com/CalloutAmerica/Country/07-26-05It moved up four positions to #8 overall, and up four to #5 in Passion.

After 28 weeks, the girls will be #6 on R&R this week, #5 on AllAboutCountry.com (click here for a saved copy that requires no registration to look at), #7 at Roughstock, and with a rank of #3 spend their 9th consecutive week in the Top 10 at RadioWave Airplay Monitor. This weekend SHeDAISY had the 2nd largest bullet after Gretchen, but after likely increases in the bullet on Monday and possibly Tuesday, I think their bullet will begin dropping by mid week. The problem with having a really great few days like this song had on Friday and Saturday with daily gains of over 100 spins each day, is you've got to do well seven days later or you'll end up having a wild swing downward in the bullet. I'm hopeful for a #7 on Billboard this week, but that'll require they move ahead of Tim McGraw. The audience difference between them will likely be pretty small, and he barely edged them out last week for #8. Last Sunday their lead over Tim on R&R was 1.606 million, but they ended up 219K behind him on Billboard. This week the girl's R&R lead is 1.783 million... I don't know if that extra cushion of 177k on R&R will translate to enough gains on Billboard to move ahead of him there. I hope SHeDAISY don't have a weak Monday like they did last Monday when they only gained one spin and 44K. They got crushed by Brad and Tim, who outgained the girls by over 500K each. I suppose it might have been THAT poor showing which propelled Tim ahead on Billboard, because last Monday he was just a million behind them on R&R.

I want to think its not but it sure looks that way. It should have peaked top 5, 5 weeks ago IMO. Also I notice they have a commercial promoting their new cd with all new songs! hmmmm.....Trying to squeeze all the money they can out of this album?

Sevansfan: Sara Evans will get her chance to pass SHeDAISY, so cut the girls a little slack and let SHeDAISY fans enjoy their first return to the Top 10 on both Billboard and R&R in five years. I like rooting for the underdog. :)
I don't understand your comment about how should have peaked Top 5, FIVE weeks ago. Remember how crowded the Top Ten has been with fast-rising A-list singles? SheDAISY needed 500 more spins to get to the Top Ten a few weeks ago, than Jamie O'Neal needed this week to do the same. They had a long hard slog to get where they are, getting passed by all those fast rising A-listers, and didn't have the benefit of big groupings of songs going recurrent all at once during their drive upward. SHeDAISY earned their chart position.
Being a fan I love to see that Lyric Street is buying commercial airtime to promote the CD. Call it squeezing all the money they can if you want. It's a business, after all. There's NOTHING wrong with commercials.
I know that After Midnite is helping the song a lot. They're getting lots of airplay there, and there have held two contests, giving away trips to see SHeDAISY in Malibu and Dallas in concert. It's all out in the open, though. Whatever is going on, I'm just happy to see the label is behind the song. You can Reba-cize it if you want, but remember this is a song that's been in power rotation at WUSN with PLENTY of daytime spins there and at many other big stations. It's not all overnite stuff. The song has also tested well at Callout America and HitPredictor, but I've gone through all that before in this topic. :)

I don't really think it's another Reba or the song would still be alive. No way Lyric Street would payloa their way to #6. They would go for the Top 5 if they really wanted it that bad. It had one good week that put it at #6 and now has fallen.
The ride is over...but it was great to see SHeDAISY back in the Top 10...and not just at #10. They made it to #6 on R&R and #7 on BB. :) .
Things look great for the next album. :) . Hopefully there will be consistent trips to the Top 10. :)

By saying it should have been top 5 5 weeks ago I meant it is a very good song and it should not have took so long to get where it got. The only reason I thought payola was the +400 spins it had for a few days there. But apparently that was not true because it dropped off very soon after that. I am extrememly happy for Shedaisy, I wish it would have charted higher though. I also think it is great that their label is FINALLY promoting this cd with commercials and such, I just got a kick out of them saying their "new" cd with all new songs! lol And why are you bringing Sara Evans name into this...... I never said anything about her. ???

Yes! This was awesome to see hit top 10. This album was great. I still think the next single should be 'Good Together', but what can ya do? I can't wait for the next album either.
