Up to #17 on this week's R&R chart! Good to see that the song is still going strong.

Shedaisy just passed Bobby Pinson today to make it to #16 on the daily R&R. Things are very tight with a cluster of songs all vying for position, so their lead over him is very tenuous. They're #21 this week on Billboard, a gain of 2 spots. They missed out on the Top 20 by about 100,000 in audience. Their audience bullet was about 1.3 million. This week on Billboard's Airplay Monitor, the song makes it's first appearance on the Hit Predictor list, with a great score of 85.4, good enough to rank 7th. It also finally received a little blurb in the chart commentary, after being on the chart for 19 weeks. :) Better late than never! For those unfamiliar with Hit Predictor, here's a quote from the Airplay Monitor... Songs are blind tested online by PromoSquad using multiple listens and a nationwide sample of carefullly profiled music consumers. Songs are rated on a 1-5 scale; final results are based on weighted positives. Songs with a score of 75 or more are judged to have top 10 callout potential, although that benchmark number can fluctuate based on the strength of available music. For complete charts, commentary, polls and more please visit www.hitpredictor.comHere's the current country Hit Predictor list, sorted by scores: www.hitpredictor.com/country.php?s=d&f=hp

I would like to see those graphs to study them and better understand what you are saying, but they are so small you can't read or understand them.

The song had a GREAT week on the charts this week.
Moves up 2 spots to #13 on R&R Moves up 5 big spots to #15 on Billboard.
Seems like this song has taken on a second life and is shooting for the Top 10. :) . Good to finally see the girls making some noise on the radio.

The R&R airplay drought in Dallas for Shedaisy looks like it might be over. KPLX and KSCS combined for 16 spins last week. That's more in one week than they've gotten in roughly the past 2 months at those stations, in total. There's another Dallas station (KTYS) that gives them plenty of airplay (13th on their play list as of today), but it doesn't count on the R&R rankings since it's not part of the panel. It's part of Billboard's panel though. I wish I knew how much audience they're getting at that station, but Mediabase doesn't provide any info for some reason. The audience column is all blank... www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/stations.asp?c_let=KTYS-FM

Atleast that station adds to Billboard's numbers. The song had an outstanding week over there and hopefully that will continue with next week's numbers, although moving up will be harder because right now no songs look week enough for the girls to leapfrog them this week.

How much has their album sold, btw? I'm very curious. I think and hope this song goes top 5!

The girls stop by the set of the CMT Top 20 this week. It was a good little episode. The girls talked about the CMA Fest and their new album they are working on, even stating they hope to have the album's first single out late summer/early fall.
If that goes as planned is yet to be seen...I kinda hope they push that back to release one more single from Sweet Right Here...preferribly Good Together (Bucket & Chicken), which I feel is a bonafide hit. It would also help push the album to Gold certification...last time I heard they were pretty close.
Their video, 'Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing' also debuts at #20.

This song got another detailed writeup in the weekly research letter put out by Bullseye Marketing Research. Here's an excerpt from last Friday's issue... SHEDAISY continues along a consistent growth trail ranking as the # 16 song in this weeks Callout America sample with “DON’T WORRY ‘BOUT A THING” (LYRIC STREET) UP from # 19 last week and # 24 two weeks ago.. SHEDAISY gets a CLOSER LOOK at all the numbers as The Research Letters “Closer Look” song of the week..
DON’T WORRY ‘BOUT A THING / SHEDAISY: Continues along a consistent growth trail with Total positives of 53% UP from 50% last week and Like A Lot scores of 29% UP from 21%, ranking the Girlz as the # 16 song in this weeks Callout America sample from # 19 last week and # 24 two weeks ago.. They are the # 11 Passion song for the week UP from # 16 last week.. Younger 25—34 listeners are showing really strong passion on this song ranking them as the # 6 Passion song in that demo and the # 14 song overall.. Younger Females rank SHEDAISY as the # 4 Passion song , # 8 overall and Younger Males rank them as the # 11 Passion song and # 13 overall..
In this weeks BULLSEYE LOCAL CALLOUT INDEX of 15 Local callout projects 530 listeners scored this song ranking SHEDAISY as the # 10 song overall UP from # 13 and the # 12 Passion song in the sample.. Females at Local callout rank this song as the # 9 song UP from # 14 .. MEN rank the song as the # 11 song UP from # 14.. SHEDAISY is in good shape with plenty of potential in place.. In the Demos from Local callout Projects SHEDAISY ranks as the # 8 song with Younger 25-34 listeners, the # 9 Passion song in the demo.. CORE 35-44 Listeners rank the Girls as the # 11 song overall and the # 13 Passion song while listeners 45-54 rank SHEDAISY as the # 14 song and the # 15 Passion song in that demo… Growth over a solid trend and that should continue.. The commentary above was referring to last week's research chart. I should mention that on THIS week's chart that came out today the song lost a postition by being leapfrogged by Sara Evans. This song has been around quite awhile... It's 23 weeks old, and the only other song that's older on their chart is Dierk's (and he's falling and about to go recurrent on R&R). Given the age of Dont Worry 'Bout A Thing, I'm (no irony intended here) worried it's probably on it's last legs. It's already peaked on the Music Row chart, and that chart is usually just a week or two ahead of R&R and Billboard when it comes to songs reaching their peaks.

Well, this is a great song for the girls and I am glad to see it has had quite a chart run. Still gaining over 100 spins as of this morning!

The song is doing very well and hopefully both Dierks and Keith Urban will go recurrent so the single can make it to #12 on R&R for next week's chart.
This single has a shot at becoming the 2nd Top 10 single from this album (on R&R, anyway)...and that is something I would love to see.

Song did some more good things on the chart this week. :).
Up 2 to #12 on R&R. Stays put at #14 on Billboard, with lots of room for upward movement next week.
If this song can hold on for 2 more weeks (this week and next), it will be a Top 10 for the girls. (On R&R, anyway). I fear it may peak this week, though...this is week #25 on the singles chart for the song.
The fact that this single has outperformed Come Home Soon on the radio charts has really impressed me. I mean, to me, it is a far superior song, but I had a bad feeling about it as a single when it first came out and then had a slow, slow start out of the gate. Looks like it just took radio a while to pick this one up. Sooo glad to see it work out for the girls...it is probably in my Top 3 favorites off their new album, which has nothing BUT fantastic music on it.
Looks like the SHeDAISY girls are back in the spotlight after the small commercial success and hardships Knock On The Sky and it's two singles brought. :) .

I'm very, very excited and optimistic about this song's chances of making the Top 10 on R&R.
It is still experiencing very healthy gains in spins as well as above-average audience increases daily and with Keith Anderson about to fall below them (hopefully by the chart finalization on Sunday) the song seems primed to enter the Top 10 by next Sunday (7-17).
Even if the song starts to level out next week to begin it's fall down the chart, with songs like Kenny, Keith Anderson, Blake Shelton, Darryl Worley, and George Strait all weakening and some of them appearing that they may go recurrent by next week, the girls can afford to be passed by Tim McGraw and still make the Top 10 by next week's chart.
I sure hope it happens. :) .

I think a lot hinges on what happens at WUSN. The song is ranked 3rd there with 1.3 million impressions. It's just 2 spins short of WUSN's number one song, so there's no room anymore to move upward there to offset drops in spins I'm seeing at key stations that helped greatly with the big surge last week. Recently the song moved into lower rotation at WYCD (it was formerly #1 there), KUZZ in Bakersfield, KZLA, KSKS in Fresno, and some other stations. WUSN is a HUGE help right now for SHeDAISY to have their shot at the R&R Top Ten, but if that station drops them into a lower rotation too soon that could be a big problem. A few days ago it looked like both Darryl Worley and Keith Anderson would have fallen below SHeDAISY in audience by now, but both of them experienced moves back upward. Darryl's move up was 4 days ago, after steady losses for about a week. Keith had a big drop on Friday but moved up on Saturday, keeping him ahead for now... home.earthlink.net/~oceanblue831/shedaisy/graphs/selected_aud.gifOn this spins chart, SHeDAISY is lagging quite a bit compared to the songs just above them... home.earthlink.net/~oceanblue831/shedaisy/graphs/selected_spins.gifI hope the song can outlast the ones Austin mentioned, and get to the Top Ten even if it's already begun to fall.

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW
Hopefully this lasts all week. I was very skeptical of the single choice back in January, but it turns out this may have the most successful chart run of any single off of Sweet Right Here.

SHeDAISY has had the fourth largest bullet on the daily R&R for two days in a row. That won't last but it's sure cool to see a song as old as this one having a nice surge this late in the game. In the last three days the song has gained 1.1 million in audience. Pretty soon it'll hit an 'invisible barrier' in spin totals that D. Worley, B. Shelton, and K. Anderson couldn't push through. SHeDAISY is very close to it...
SHeDAISY's spin peak as of today: 2,992 Worley's peak was: 3,030 Shelton's was: 3,018 Anderson's was: 3,024
The girls have been competing with those three songs for quite awhile now, and have managed to best each of those song's peak audiences... I'd like to see SHeDAISY beat those songs in peak spins too.
After looking over the status of the Billboard chart last week and seeing how things have shaken out on R&R so far, I'll go out on a limb and say SHeDAISY has a lock on moving up two positions to #10 on this upcoming Billboard chart. This will be their first return to the Billboard Top Ten since 2000. They've been to the R&R Top Ten since then with Passenger Seat, but Billboard has eluded them for five years.
This is a song that was stuck seemingly forever at around #28 for weeks on end on BB, too. I was worried at one time it would even make the Top 20. I guess I should have taken the song's message to heart... Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing! :)

The audience numbers for SHeDAISY are THROUGH THE ROOF! So far it's gained 655,000 today! All that with a spin gain of just 18. The audience gain for the last 7 days is now 1.9 million. Tim McGraw's gain is 1.4 million. Brad's is 2.2 million. Today SHeDAISY is Number One at WUSN. Congratulations Kassidy, Kelsi, and Kristyn! The song is also doing well at KZLA and KPLX. The girls now have 371,000 more than Kenny Chesney on today's R&R. I'm hoping this means he'll be below SHeDAISY when the next Billboard chart comes out, but of course it's not a sure thing since the Billboard radio station panel isn't the same as R&R's. Last week Kenny lead SHeDAISY on Billboard by 4.1 million. So far this week on R&R he's lost 3.6 million; If you take into consideration the 1.9 million gain for SHeDAISY this week so far, it's looking pretty darn good to me that Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing could end up at #9 on Billboard. #10 is already a sure thing because Keith Anderson is over 2 million behind now, and Blake Shelton is over 3 million back. Number nine would be just fine! Kenny's spin lead over the girls has dwindled all the way down to just 18. Because of the way R&R does their points system to rank songs, he's still ranked above #8 Brad Paisley, even though Brad already has more audience AND spins than Kenny. If only Kenny hadn't regained a very small bullet two weeks ago today, he'd be going recurrent later tonight. My only concern right now is that the spin increases have been steadily falling each day since the gain of 66 spins on Thursday.... Thursday's increase: 66 Friday's: 46 Saturday's: 30 Sunday's: 18 The bullet has also been getting smaller. It's the sixth largest one on the chart today. I don't know yet if the smaller spin gains mean the song is nearing a peak or not, but it's right in the middle of the same 'invisible force field' where Darryl Worley, Blake Shelton, and Keith Anderson all maxed out in spins and couldn't punch through. At least SHeDAISY has already done better than all three of them as far as audience numbers go... SHeDAISY has 1.1 million more than Keith's audience peak, 1.3 million more than Darryl's, and 2.1 million more than Blake's. P.S. SHeDAISY played two concerts this weekend in Kentucky. I heard they premiered a brand-new uptempo song called "Burn Down The House" at the shows. Maybe it'll be the lead-off single from the new CD they've been working on?

I went to a show last night in Coconut Creek. THE GIRLS ARE AWESOME.
'Burn Down The House' is a very clever song (as if you can expect anything less when it comes to up-tempo SHeDAISY) but I don't really think it'll be the lead-off single. Just a total hunch and completely a guess by me.
This song is OFFICIALLY Top 10 at R&R...#9! WOOT. Hoping Billboard is the same. :) .

This song has been having HUGE days on Mediabase this week. It gained 54 more spins today and almost 400,000 in audience. :) .
Bullet is the 5th largest on the entire chart, at +289. :) .
